It took literally all night but the auto start still doesn't work. I turned the hood pin off when I set it up on pro mode but idk what else needs to happen.

Yes there were some hiccups with dcryptor lastnight/this morning which have now been rectified.

When you try to remote start the vehicle does the ignition turn on? Do the brake lights turn on?

I doesn't look like the ignition turns on. The blue light on the module comes on every time I hit the lock button (3x) then the red light comes on for a few seconds - then blinks three times and that's it. My rear lights flash a few seconds later and that's it.

Thank you for that description. Sounds like the evo is trying to start the vehicle but something is missing.

Take a look at your pts connection because it sounds like it either wasnt made or has a bad/wrong connection up at the pts button.
