The only circuit that gets opened is the IMO data. I would ensure this wire is not open, from there the vehicle should function as normal. If not start checking fuses, connectors etc.

The resets are not handled by myself I simply submit them, so it may be 10 minutes or 24 hours. I tend to air on the side of caution to be safe.

You can try resending the data at anytime, it will either go through or simply give you the error.

It was installed in 2020 on the SRX, was it functional then?

did you reset the module when then trying to install it in the Outlander? Without a hard reset, it would not work since unit was previously in a different car.

This is the reset procedure. Unit options will need to be re-enabled afterwards:

Hold down programming button while plugging in datalink connector.
Let go of button when LED is RED.
Push and hold button again until all three LEDs start to alternate.
Disconnect unit, she is now reset.

3xlock is not an available feature on that vehicle. The website lists requriing an RF-KIT under Required Tech.

Also, to help isolate. The ORANGE and ORANGE/BLACK are AUX1 and AUX2 analog inputs (20-pin connector).

To test, you give a ground pulse to each to see if your glass and trunk are independant AUX.

Example...

give a ground pulse to the orange, see what opens.

give a ground pulse to the orange/black, see what opens.

You need to search YouTube. There a A LOT of videos that show how to reprogram your factory, or factory style, remotes to that vehicle. For the first remote to program takes about 1 minute, each additional about 30. If you want to use your factory remote to start that year/make/model you need to look at a different bypass module manufacturer. It would NOT be appropriate to tell you who, but there IS a bypass module manufacturer that will allow for 3x Lock to start the vehicle you listed.

I upgraded the firmware on the RS side to 1.16 from 0.96 and both remotes programmed right away and all functions appear to work properly.

I have not heard of any issues with connector fitment on the GMT6 harness.

Yes, you would need to use the part# FT-DATA.

Hi!

I am having issues with the theft deterrent. The Fortin module is not acting as a bypass. I have tried the latest firmware both in standard and standalone, then downgraded to 7.21, to no avail. I tested that everything else works on RF when the original key is near the barrel. Please help!

The EVOGMT4 is not a push button start system. You should contact the manufacturer of push button start system to see if they have something for your vehicle.

2006 Cadillac Ext. has factory alarm but no remote start. On advice from a friend that is a certified installer, I bought an EVO-ONE since he said it would work with the factory remote and be able to do the 3x Lock with the OEM remote. The unit was installed properly and double checked via installer. Initially, it would not move past having a solid blue led because of yellow wire (A1) on 20 pin connector not being connected, was connected and checked again (this is not shown as needed in the wiring diagram). Initial settings were not allowing for the data signal to be picked up so the unit was re-flashed to 70.18 and the data signal was able to be found and programmed. All applicable settings are as suggested and 3x lock is enabled in the settings with the flash-link. The unit is now programmed properly for the bypass but will not remote start the truck via OEM remote and 3x lock. Needed to use the vehicle and wasn't able to get anywhere with support on Saturday since they're closed.

Current firmware flash confirmed:

Bypass: 70.18 firmware, 2.0 hardware

Starter: 1.24 firmware, 7.0 hardware

Yes, the wires are apart. Also, the security light is off in the ON/RUN position, so I did not hook up the 6-pin connector W/R and W/GN wires. It comes on with the ignition and goes off a few seconds later. I don't know if a 2006 is an "older model" Cadillac.

Here's a summary of the wiring:
20-pin A1 Yellow is soldered ot the Pink ignition wire at the igntion switch (also E5 here).

20-pin A11 Black is soldered to the white brake wire at the rear fuse box.

20-pin A16 is soldered to the datalink feed for the radio (same circuit [1807] as the DLC under the dash). The fact I can access the body control module to lock/unlock indicates this wire is connected correctly.

6-pin E1 White is soldered to ignition switch Brown, GM accessory feed. Unit is configured to use the White wire as a 2nd accessory.

6-pin E2 Orange is soldered to ignition switch Orange, GM accessory feed.

6-pin E3 Red is soldered to ignition switch Red/White, GM battery feed (antenna power wire attaches here also).

6-pin E4 Black is attached via the ring terminal to a metal dash bolt. Tested same for contiuity for ground and it was OK (antenna grounds here also).

6-pin E5 Pink soldered to ignition switch Pink wire, GM ignition wire (also A1 here).

6-pin E6 soldered to ignition switch Yellow wire, starter wire.

The only harnesses plugged in are the 6-pin large, 20-pin, 4-pin antenna, and 2-pin valet switch.

When I press the remote start button on the RF-51 remote twice within 5 seconds, I do get a remote start (RS) Auto message on the LCD display and a chirp, but nothing happens- no ignition lights and no starter. The antenna has a green LED for RS status, but it has not come on at all. Here is the status LED info from Omega's manual:

LED Off: The RS is off and in stnadby mode.

LED Flashing slow: RS is activated.

Unit will not program. Won't make it past step 6, as soon as I "Press the Push-to-start button once to turn on accessory" the unit just flashes red and yellow, nothing more. I tried two bypass units and checked and rechecked all connections???? Tried Firmware 70.21 and 70.30.

For anyone else that might run into this issue, It was a simple connection error on the Key Data wire. He never actually cut the wire as indicated in the installation guide.

Fixed that, programmed module and car now works as intended.

That has never been tested on that specific vehicle, so I do not know if it would work or how you would even configure the 2 together.

We certainly have remote start solutions for that vehicle...The evo-all in stand alone with a FTX64-2way RF kit would be the easiest and most cost effective solution.

You would also require the flash link updater to set the correct options and firmware specific to the vehicle.

Power Lifgate wire is is dark green/white (-) at the switch in the overhead console.

You may need to disable the trunk release through can-bus in the evo-one bypass options and just wire up the liftgate.

If you look at connection 4 in the installation guide, there is a connection you need to make at the the Passkey module when the security stays on as you mentionned.
