Here's something you can try if you'd like, to see if you get different results.

- turn off settings protection and save it in the off position

- master reset the unit in the vehicle: https://fortin.ca/en/download/61931/61931.pdf

- plug it back into the flash link and enable required vehicle specific options along with rf options: https://fortin.ca/download/59011/EVO-ALL_IG_TSA_BI_GM4_A_59011.pdf

- re program in the vehicle and re run dcryptor process

- re pair remotes to the system

- test

The fact that when it fails to start it re attempts tells me it isnt something like brake or hood stopping it because if it was a status such as those the module would not re attempt a 2nd try on its own, it would stop after the first.

Little tip, once you have the antenna flashing to pair the remotes, hold down the button on the 411 remote until the blue led comes back on solid, when it comes back on solid is when you let go of the button.

No it does not. I now have the theft lock icon on the dash every time I lock with the remote, but not with the factory remote. And, today when trying to reset, it not says I have reached the firmware limit. So it's basically garbage now. I don't want to try with a new one, if this is going to happen again after a year or 2.

You will be able to control the analog door lock outputs (purple & purple/white) ign on or off using the 942 remotes.

You wont be able to control the outputs ign off using the oem remote, only when ign is on.

Please use a module with a manufacture date of 2019+ with a qr code on the label.

Empty key data typically happens when the module was not first progammed to the vehicle. Once that is done, you disconnect it from the car to run the dcryptor process on the flash link.

Hello,

The doors will be monitored through can bus, so no need to manually connect them.

You would need to enable option 14 in the remote starter section of the evo one for the alarm to be active.

Additional connections would be the horn connection so you hear the alarm go off and the parking lights so you have visual indication of the alarm going off.

When I go to program while blue light is lit, crank truck with the key, red and yellow come on together then turn key off and only red light stays lit. Lock and unlock work fine but still can't get this thing remote started. Please help

- flash remote starter with fw 0.99

- power the unit up in the vehicle for 15 seconds

- re turn to pc and re load 1.26 into the starter

- return to vehicle pair remotes

Yes, simply remove the GM7 harness and make sure to reconnect all the factory connectors back in their spot.

Evo all/gmt4 module not connected/detected in flash manager 4. It will recognize the flashlink2, i can upgrade the firmware, but the evoall/gmt4 unit is never recognized. I have a solid red light on the flash updater and a solid red light on the evo all in bypass mode, switch to remote start and the evo all has all the leds blinking a few times and it doesnt connect. when I shut down the program and restart it, the program recogognizes the updater plugged in but there is no firmware selected.

Update the firmware again and it accepts, and then every thing is the same as above. it seems like everything is communicating with the evoall flashing, but can never get unit connected throught the software. Is the module bad, servers down, bad flash tool? I tried a reset on the module again but same as above.

After remote start, the remote starter will force a relock to ensure the vehicle is locked and armed. This cannot be disabled.

Reset the unit several times. Here's some more interesting info...the valet button doesn't do anything. I've replaced the valet button as well as just touched the wires together and still nothing. So doing a complete 23 reset is not possible.

Today I figured I would rewire the 6 pin harness, to eliminate the t connectors. No change.

It goes thru the start sequence, clicks once and then just like the key was turned off. It will act like it does a remote take over as well. When running, if I press to "leave" the vehicle but have it stay running, it clicks like it's ready. As soon as I turn the key it shuts down. It's getting cold and dark and I have maybe a few hours on weekends to try to figure this all out.

I had them working together but the remote start would not work. Once the module was reset, they are not working together. The MYCAR does connect to the truck and changes status from lock/unlocked and shows voltage.

I will go back through the notes I have from when they were working together.

Ok, here is the latest. I have replaced my turn signal relay now and this has cleared up my lighting issues, however, now the Fortin is doing a single flash of lights and that's it. No start still.

I have also tried, several times, to factory/master reset it and it doesn't let me. In the flashlink I did a reset and it put everything to 1, then I did a vehicle specific configuration and saved it. Now it's out of ready mode disabled, but won't start. Also, the brake wire disconnected no longer matters

Yes you could do that as long as youre ok with putting th key in the door everytime, takeover may not work properly either. At the falsh link in Pro Mode you would need to turn on C1 in the bypass and 33.2 & 38.2 in the remote starter.

Hello,

Modules with a manufacture date of 2015 and older cannot be modified. All of these modules fall into that range.

I would suggest you contact where the were purchased from and return or exchange them for modules made after 2016+.

It would be option H2. Note that if the remotes were already paired to that same antenna and EVO-ALL module, they should not need to reprogrammed.

Yes you will be able to add a remote start. I have a 2008 WT and have added a remote start system. I use a Mycar Controls module to remote start from my phone. It uses LTE cell service. Fortin has it's own LTE module that I would recommend over my setup to keep the same brand. With an Evo-ONE I believe you can use both the LTE module and RF Kit with key fob simultaniously. This I don't think is possible with the Evo-ALL that I currently have so I am upgrading. Also be sure to purchase a T Harness for your vehicle to make installation go much simpler. Study the wiring diagram that is included to keep everything clean on your install.
