Im thinking of doing something similar, im thinking of running ignition 1/2, ACC to a powered relay with the starter, as the switch power. I believe i would have to run a button to the starter as well so it has a power off function.

Modules with a manufacture date of 2018 - cannot be configured or dcrypted using the flash link.

If you wish to configure, flash or dcrypt a module please use one with a manufacture date of 2019 +.

The evo-all should not impede the functionality of the WIN module nor should it need to be programmed for your OEM WIN module to function.

The evo-all may not be configured to work with the OEM remote.

Oh, I was under the impression the system didn't need a tach wire, looking at the tachless programming instructions. My diagram from WireColor never specified that the tach wire was required either. Kinda bummed, your module is advertised as good for most vehicles... would have been good to see a note anywhere stating certain vehicles like my truck would not be compatible.

Hello,

Please be aware that you risk re activating the immobilizer in the vehicle if you programan evo product to the vehicle. So proceed at your own risk. Make sure when you configure the evo you turn OFF A3 - key bypass.

The evo-one gets its door lock codes during the in vehicle programming by pressing lock on the OEM remote. Since this is no longer possible you can press the programming button which will result in the evo-one sending "generic" codes for lock/unlock, these may work or they may not work, if they dont you would need to hardwire the door locks from the module to the vehicle.

You would need the following parts for remote start and keyless entry:

- evo-one-442 or evo-one-441

- thar-chr5

- flash link updater

- 1x relay

- 1x 1.5K ohm resistor

Ideally you should be selecting your own vehicle although i am aware some third party resellers will set all their modules up for one specific model.

Anyway, please reset the module then attempt to reprogram in the car and run dcryptor.

Hold down programming button while inserting the power.
Let go of button when the LED is RED
Push and Hold the programming button until all three LED start to alternate rapidly

Hello,

There is no t-harness for this vehicle, so the entire installation would need to be hardwired into the trucks exisiting wiring.

You would need an evo-all manufactured between 2016-2019 with a serial number starting with 001a06.

You would also need a remote starter as the evo all is only a bypass module and will not start this truck.

In your case it would be easier to go with an int-sl+ as the bypass and any remote starter of your choosing.

Hello,

If it has one it would be pink/lt.blue at the ignition switch. If this wire is not present then it is not needed.

if ignition turns on but the vehicle does not crank over you would want to verify if power is getting to the ignition wire at the switch. Wire D3 from red connector in the wire to wire diagram goes to the Pink/White on the ignition switch. You would want to test if pink/white is getting 12v during remote start.

Ignition is turned on VIA data however if the ignition wire is not physically powered by the red connector then the vehicle will not crank over.

Yes flash link updater is mandatory when purchasing on fortin.ca to configure the units options and to properly flash it for the vehicle it is being installed into.

If you are purhcasing from a 3rd party and they are going to pre flash it and configure it for you, you would need to check with them on how they are going to configure it for you.

06 Dodge Ram evo-one with t harness remote starts then locks and shuts off

I have an evo-one with t harness on an 06 ram, having an issue where it’ll start then lock the doors and it’ll shut off then my dash and everything will stay on as if it’s running, if I unplug it and plug it back in it’ll start again then die after relocking the doors then unplugging it and plugging it back in it will let me start with the key. Will provide firmware and review settings tomorrow to see if I have something set wrong

2015 Dodge Dart, Manual Transmission. EVO One SN 002B04248404 with both factory key fob (tip style) and Crimestopper Revo 4.1 Extended Range fobs. Installed using CHAR7 T harness.

Installed per guidelines. Seemed straight forward. Programmed Module using default suggestions. Decryptor appeared to work without error.

Was able to start vehicle using factory key fob. Performed manual ready procedure…. Brake pedal, E brake, removed ignition key. Vehicle continued to run. Exited the vehicle and closed the door. At this point was unable to get the vehicle to stop running. Vehicle’s dash did indicate when the door was open and subsequently closed. Confirmed all other doors and trunk were closed throughout the installation and testing. Hood groundout was wired but the hood remained closed and we confirmed the hood pin adjustment wasn’t grounding the module out.

In one attempt, we started the vehicle, performed the manual ready mode procedure, exited the vehicle, waited 20 seconds, and then using the Revo fob lock functionality was able to shut off the vehicle but still, click 3 unlocks or the factory keyfob or “start” on the Revo fob did not result in the car starting.

(8 hours later……)

After multiple attempts and rechecking the wire harness for correctness, reviewing the question and answers info on Fortin, and praying to the “Remote Gods”, we gave up.

Any advice? Also… help me understand how many times I can reset the module and run the decryptor application. In an attempt to get this working, I think I performed the operation 4x’s.

I seem to remember you can brick the module if you run the crypto too many times. Then I read something about as much as you want within a 5 year of module manufacturing date. Please clarify this. I certainly don’t want to “brick” the module.

update: Confirmed that the EVO One module cannot be "bricked". Worst case scenario is that it has to be reset by Fortin Support, but that it can be reprogrammed manytimes (at least for the same vehicle) manytimes without losing it's functionality.

Have been able to get the car to run after removing the key from the ignition, but have not been able to get the car to shutoff when closing drivers door as indicated as a step or procedure in the "Manual Ready Mode Manual". Was able to get the vehicle to shut off via the start option on the aftermarket Revo 4 FOB, but that seemingly put the vehicle out of "ready mode" status as it would never allow for a successful remote start.

Still scouring for answer as to why the vehicle will not shut off on its own when exiting the vehicle thus remaining in "ready mode" and allowing the remote start functionality to work properly.

Hello,

Sounds like the clutch bypass was not done. The guides published by Fortin are for automatic transmission only.

Normally you follow the automatic guide online then you would need to test the clutch circuit to see how it reacts and what polairty it is, then you would connect to it with the appropriate wire from the evo-one.

Correct, Fortin only offers immobilizer bypass. You would need a int-sl+ for the keybypass (if equipped) along with an analog remote starter of your choice.

If RED is on solid, then yes, there is connection issue on the CAN2 line.
If RED is simply OFF while blue is flashing, then you are fine.

Note that after releasing on blue, you must turn ignition on and then press the button on the EVO 1x. Do not press the button on the evo prior to turning on ignition.

re program the module in the vehicle on the blue led and make sure to press lock on the OEM remote at the end of programming. This is how the evo grabs the codes for the door locks.

That is normal operation of the unit. As stated on the Fortin website and in th installation guide for that vehicle, the OEM remote used to program the system is dead once remote started. https://fortin.ca/en/vehicles/dodge/dart/2015-standard-key/

Fortin suggestes either using the other oem remote for the vehicle or to use an RF kit.

flash limit is reset. I see you flashed 0.99, if your module was stuck on the red led, make sure to follow all the steps to clear the module out. This includes turning off Settings Protection and then doing the incar reset.

connect module back to the flash link and flash whatever firmware you need
Turn settings protection OFF if it's on and SAVE the options.

If it is negative it would be the small white wire on the 20 pin connector of the evo one.

If it is positive it would be the large yellow wire on the main 6 pin connector of the evo one.

just regarding your reply:

The proper way for takeover to work is the following.

All keys must be OUT of the vehicle
All doors must be closed
Remote start vehicle
Unlock the doors with the remote
Get in and press the PTS once then press on the brake

if I follow these steps and press the PTS, the car will shut engine off and then re-start again directly. But if you mean press the brake then the PTS, I didn"t do that>

for your other advise:

If the Parking Light wiring was done, verify that you have the proper resistor. This is a MUX circuit. A wrong resistor will cause odd things to happen. Otherwise, remove the connection.

between which points can I check the mentioned resistor and how much should be? and is it possible to add a resistor to modify the value?

also, what is the function of this connection?

finally, when I set up the unit, there was a part for the connection type, what I should choose to get the job done properly? take into consideration that I do have 2020 Dodge journey, and I am doing wire-to-wire connection

There are 2 (+) ignitions and 3 (+) accessories that need to be powered upon remote. (-)KeySense may also be needed. First thing to do will be to check that they are all getting activated correctly.

If the car is actually a 2006 (check by VIN not by MFD date), one of those 3 accessories is actually a (-) trigger and not a (+)

This worked for me as well. Great tip.

I used the CHRT5 harness for my install. Ended up pulling the grey/black wire out of the white connector on the Evo-All side of the harness.
