2016 E450 was never tetsed, often times these trucks didnt have any IMO meaning any analog remote starter would work.

First thing to verify is if it has a chip in the key.

If it does have a chip you could try it like an F series but that would be at your own discretion because as mentioned Fortin never tested these.

If it does not have a chip in the key any analog remote starter would work.

This can sometimes happen due to ignition status between the bypass and remote starter when using option 33.2. Connecting them analog resolves that issue.

Hello,

Yes the evo-one can work in a 2013 Ford Fusion standard key with manual tranmission.

Doors, Tach, footbrake & handbrake would all be detected through Can-Bus.

Evo-One does support the thar-for2 harness for this vehicle, please note 2 oem keys are required for programming.

For the clutch bypass it is the installers responsibility to test and determine the clutch type and polarity. Relays can be required depending on vehicle configuration.

Please note Fortin tests its solutions on vehicles based in the North American market, if the vehicle is outside of that market range compatibility cannot be guraranteed. Fortin does not assist end consumers who attempt to work on manual transmission vehicles, installation by a qualified professional is strongly recommended.

I just followed the same pathway as you for a 16 fusion key, I am guessing you chose wire to wire since selecting a t-harness negates the keys required to program question.

It worked fine for flashing 4.01 when slecting 1 key programming when I tried it.

I will report this regardless to have it checked by the team that handles the flash link.

yes evo-all can work for this vehicle with your exisiting viper unit, please note a flash link updater can be required and also evo modules with a manufacture date of 2019 & older cannot be re flashed or re configured.

I figured it out, but in case anyone else has this issue, apparently you cannot use FlashLink Lite to set remote starter options. You need a full-featured FlashLink Tool

On this vehicle the evo acts like the OEM remote start. The heater will only blow on the low setting and only once the enigne has reach operating temperature. This is the auto setting.

You can change the climate controls to "last setting" this will just force the heater to return to whatever it was left at.

In the cluster go to:

- vehicle settings

- remote start

- climate controls

- last setting

If these options are not available in the cluster then a dealer scan tool would be required to enable the same feature in the BCM.

You are correct, when they leave the manufacturer they have no firmware inside. Normally the installer is the one who will flash the module for the vehicle being worked on.

Once it is flashed using the flash link updater, you can then program it in the vehicle.

Typically, yes, technicians would extend wiring when needed.

The driver door pin wire could also be found in the driver kick panel. Same color as at the BCM. Ford likes using green/purple for many different circuits so proper testing will be needed.

Pretty normal for that to happen since the key over ride all would have been bumped out of the vehicles memory when the new keys were programmed.

It will be important that the lock smith programmed both keys as master keys, if he simply cloned the same key twice the module will not program.

If it was a key issue, it would remote start with the other key in the car. I believe you mentionned that was not the case. You will have to go over the clutch and PTS wiring otherwise.

Note that after entering ready mode, do not press the PTS button. The remote starter will take care of that when it shuts the car down after closing the door.

Fortin does not offer a guide for the manual transmission trim. You could follow the guide for automatic transmisison however it wil be the installers responsibility to test and figure out how to bypass the clutch circuit of the vehicle. You would also need a remote starter capable of working in manual transmission vehicles to go along with the evo-fort4.

Hope someone receives this. In the above situation (both LEDs on solid after the 1st key the 2nd time), it sounds like the vehicle itself does not need to have a properly working key-sense wire for the vehicle to go into Ford's "3rd key programming mode" (a.k.a. door locks cycle). Am I correct? Or is it that the key-sense wire just didn't drop out to get the door locks to cycle? Thank you.

Yes as long as it is fortin RF and evo-start-lte, both can work at the same time.

You would need to disconnect the 912 antenna, connect the evo-start antenna, program it, then re connect the 912 antenna and both should work together.

Yes there is a much simpler way to go about it.

Use the evo-all with a thar-fort3 t-harness in stand alone and you have 0 wires to connect. Then simply add a Fortin RF kit for longer range.

There is no remote reset for a flash link.

I think at this point your best bet wil be to call in with the vehicle, module and flasher so an agnet can remotly conntect to your pc and see what is going on.

that is correct you would simply plug the antenna into the blue port on the t-harness, rfa-2a is not required in this case. Then simply turn on the proper options within the unit and program the rf kit to the evo in the vehicle.
