I'd take a look at the 17-18 cadenza info, cars look similar.

It even specifies the ems com in a red connector in the pass kick like you stated. It requires a key take over control interrupt for take over to work.

Is it possible to wire or program it in a way that it runs with the remote start only or is a switch/keyed ignition my only option, i got it running and working. Its for my own project car and i have a 3D printed replacement cover for the steering column that doesnt have a hole for the ignition cylinder. Im more or less just bored and giving myself something to do lol.

There are two modes for kia/hyundai on the red led, 6x or 7x depending on wether or not the imo wire is opened during remote start or not.

Depending on the vehicle I have seen some take either 1x more on the button or 1x less to program, especially on vehicles not listed or vehicles in over seas markets.

I talked to them and looks like its the CAN 2 wiring! When you hold the button and connect the data link connector he had me stop at the blue light. When i went to turn on the igition i see a solid red light and blinking blue light. I checked my CAN wires and they look good but i might have to check voltages.

That is normal on this vehicle since r.a.p. is not covered.

You can if youd like set option 32.3 in the remote starter and run the drk.blue wire from the 20 pin connector to the driver door pin wire in the vehicle. This will simulate the door opening and closing atfer shut down thus turning off the lights.

Module with a manufacture date of 2018- cannot be configured or flashed using the flash link.

Modules with a manufacture date from 2019+ can be configured or flashed using the flash link.

If the vehicle does not start via the brake and pts button, ensure that the evo one has all its connectors plugged in, also verify that each connector of the t-harness has been properly seated in its receptical. Verify harness routing as well to ensure no wires have been pinched or broken.

Hello,

You can use a 3 pin connector and simply wire the warn away and full trigger wires to the middle pin of the 3 pin shock sensor. The evo-one has no 4 pin shock sensor port, only 3 pin.

Hello,

If the blue led goes out when ignition is turned on but it does not flash, this would indicate an issue with the can bus wires.

If the blue led does not go out when ignition is turned on, this means the evo is not seeing ignition on either the large pink wire on the main 6 pin connector or small yellow wire on the 20 pin connector.

The solution ended up that I needing a RF key kit for this vehicle, so I ordered a RFK411 kit. Programmed without PATS data wire, and used the blue light when plugging in the EVO-One. Programmed remote start key fobs from RF kit. Car started perfect!

On this vehicle heated seats is not supported through data.

You could hardwire the evo-one yellow/black aux output to the trigger for the heated seats and then set option 39.2 in the remote starter of the evo-one, This will automatically activate the heated seats below 5'C.

In that case you could try manually pulsing the brake wire of the evo-one yourself to repalicate the brake signal. It is the black wire on the 20 pin connector of the module. Pulsing it to 12v would replicate a brake input.

As long as your starter has the neccessary outputs such as ground while running, tach, start etc the evo-key can be used in a wire to wire configuration.

If you want to use data link then you would need to know if your starter offers fortin protocol. If not then no data link cannot be utilized.

Sounds like you forgot to enable option 20.2 in the remote starter of the evo-one (bottom of page 1 https://fortin.ca/download/99291/EVO-ONE_IG_RTO_BI_KHY3-SORENTO_2019_PTS_C_99291.pdf).

Programming is as follows

1- ignition ON-OFF-ON (the blue led on the antenna should turn on)

2- Brake pedal 4x (after the 4th press the blue led on the antenna should start blinking rapidly)

3- press + followed by lock on each remote youd wish to program.

You do not use the rfa2a harness.

The evo-one does not have a tach wire.

Option 20.2 has been set on my personal vehicle for years now wthout any adjustment needed based on climate. 2008 pontive vibe is my personal vehicle with 20.2. I live were the temperature goes from +35c to -35C.

Tachless is based off of battery voltage, if you are having poor cranking time you may wanna get the charging/battery system checked.

Otherwise you could try 20.4 or adjust the tachless setting as mentioned.

Yes the evo-one does support hyundai/kia's even if they have received the update.

Also, the update only applies to regular metal bladed key vehicles equipped with no transponder. Push button start vehicles have a transponder from the factory and are not part of that anti theft update campaing as far as I am aware.

If the vehicle has no immobilizer then there is no bypass programming needed.

Simply program the rf kit to the evo one and it should remote start the vehicle.

Please provide the S/N number located on the back of the module.

In order to enter valet mode the module needs 3 things: 1- power, 2- ground, 3- ignition. So with only the main 6 pin connector and the valet switch plugged in you should be able to enter/exit valet mode.
