If the antenna does not start flashing rapidly when you turn on igniton this would indicate an issue with the rx and tx wires on the antenna cable.

- green led confirming commands are succesful with an ascending tone lock, unlock, start

- red led for failed commands and a descending tone

- red led and descending tone when run time is over or vehicle is remotely shut down.

Hello,

Under settings click on vehicle list, then delete the device id in quesiton.

Doing this will return the device id to new as if it had not been used and can be entered into a new phone/account.

RF642W remote batteries dead within a week

I am having an issue with my RF642W remote. The batteries in the remote are dying within a week of being installed, even though I have tried using new batteries and changing them multiple times. The remote functions normally when the batteries have a charge, all buttons work and nothing is stuck down. The LED and chime on the remote also operate normally.

Can anyone suggest any further steps I can take to investigate this issue or is this a symptom of failing hardware?

La programmation se fait automatiquement sauf que tu dois mettre le EVO-ALL ou le EVO-ONE en mode programmation de télécommande. Aucune option a activer dans le EVO-ONE. Le EVO-ALL tu doit activer H2 comme les autres kits.

Oui, tu peux le mettre dans ton compte pour faire des tests, ensuite l'effacer pour que le client puisse l'utiliser.

No options are needed.

Plug the antenna directly into the small blue port on the evo one.

Press unlock on the OEM remote.

Then follow the sequence in the guide:

ignition ON-OFF-ON

Brake pedal 4 times

The antenna should start flashing at this point.

Then on the remote press and hold the button, the blue led, will flash, then it will go out, then it will come back on solid, when it comes back on solid you let go of the button.

Repeat for 2nd remote.

It can be one or the other but you cannot use both telematics and rf at the same time.

RFkit worked w/o any firmware modifations.

Howver After connecting unit and looking at firmware unit using link interface, did not find menu to change RF kit support for non-fortin RFkit,

Latest version of the Drone telematics antenna is not compatible with the Evo-One, even with the specific 0.50 firmware that we made for the older units due to changes in the protocol on their side.

MyCar and SmartStart DSM 550 are the only telematics that are 100% 2 way compatible with the Evo-1 (EvoStart2 is also compatible but only available in Quebec and Eastern Ontario for now)

You will get 1 confirmation when you initially press and hold the button 3seconds. The green led you get means it confirmed.

The first generation of those remotes did not respond afterwards.

The second generation will flash once per 10-20 seconds.

I have this same issue, one fob works fine (gets a reply, flashes green). The other pulses blue, starts the car, but then flashes red as if it did not get a reply. Did you find a solution for your problem?

Toggle your Flashlink connection mode to “Remote-Starter”. From the top menu click on “Configuration” and then on “Unit Options”. In the “RF Kit Compatible” section, check the box next to “Fortin 2” and click the save button on the top right of the screen.

I am installing an EVO One into a 2006 Cadillac CTS. I have the module, the Flash-Link, and an Excalibur RF-51-EDP RF remote kit with antenna. The RF-51 shows as compatible with the EVO One. The instructions for enabling it appear to be outdated. I am using Flash-Link v.4. My remote start firmware is 1.24. My bypass firmware is 70.34. The instructions for using the RF-51 show a menu that does not exist on my screen- "Click configuration then unit options."

EDIT: For clarification, I have no options past section "D". I think the RF kit compatibility is section "H". There is no RF comptibility option for either the bypass or remote start.

Should I downgrade the Flashlink software? The instructions say Flash-Link-2 (I can't find any directions for V4), so I'm presuming this was a feature that used to be available.

I am trying to learn/teach the Evo-One the MyCar Telematics module. I have followed the directions and preconfigured the Evo with the Fortin 2 option.

I cannot get the Evo into programming mode. I turn the Ignition to ON hold the button (next to loop) on the Evo for 5+ seconds as the instructions say, but the led never changes to red and remains amber. Any suggestions?

I should also note that my install was done using all T-Harnesses so I know I don't have any wiring issues. I tested the Evo for functionality before moving onto MyCar install as well and everything works great.

The EVOONE is preset for Fortin RFKIT. Connect the antenna in the blue port and program remotes according to guide.
