Purchased fortin kit evo chrt7 for a 2023 ram 1500 classic with tip key start. No instructions came with it in box. There are 2 harnesses a t harness and obd2 harness . looked thru the qustion section on this site but no instructions for a 2023 ram 1500 classic or how to connect the obd2 harness for true plug and play, no having to tap in original wireing like in the kit description. Need updated specific instrutions or installation video.

Can you please confirm the correct Remote Start & Interface Kit w/ T-Harness for this vehicle? I purchased the Fortin EVO-CHRT4 All in One Remote Start & Interface Kit w/ T-Harness + FLASH-LINK Updater Bundle - Plug & Play Solution for Select Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & VW Vehicles based on what I understood was the correct kit for this truck. After further research, I would like to confirm that this kit was correct for this application.

I would also like to confirm that purchasing the Fortin RFK942 2-Way RF Kit 4-Button Remote will provide everything required to have the long range remotes fully functional.

I also expected that this kit would be plug & play, with it being unnecessary to tie into the vehicle harness outside of connecting connectors. Is this correct?

Installed the Evo on my 17 Ram 1500 tip key and it worked flawlessly for the last 8 years. Now all of a sudden after I start it remotely and insert the key the car shuts off after I press the brake pedal. Any input greatly appreciated.

ok Im still having programing issues, i can get to step 8 , i have only a solid blue light i have verified that i have 2.5v on each side of the can bus and i have 12v battery power on the yellow wire at the module with key in the crank position, yet i still only have the blue light on solid

We installed the supplied hood pin and is not functioning properly. Starts with hood open and does not kill when started and popping the hood. Not sending trigger to EvoAll. Programming seems to be correct. Everything else works just fine.

Installed the fortin evo all with THAR-CHR7 and a 5706v w2w. Programmed according to instructions. Everything is working properly except I can't get the vehicle to remote start every single time. It starts and shuts off right after starting. Sometimes the truck will remote start and stay running like it should but not everytime. What could be wrong? Is it the firmware version?

Considering buying a CHRT7 or CHRT6 for my 2024 Ramy 1500 Rebel with OEM remote start and keyless entry. I looked at the install guide, but its not quiet clear whether it requires splicing/tapping into any wires. (especially the parking lights, ignition, CAN low and High).

I am running an Evo-All with T-harness for 2012 Ram 1500 connected to Easyguard EC002 and am having an issue with the GWR wire not able to consistently activate the Evo-All without disconnecting the GWR wire each time I want to start the vehicle. Why is the Evo-All not responding to the input without disconnecting and reconnecting?

I have a Evo-Can module that has never been used is it possible to use this as a standalone remote start on a 2009 Dodge Ram Sport gas engine? I have searched endlessly for information which little to no information I also have the THAR-CHR4 harness that is supposed to work with the module . I have a 2012 Ram 2500 Diesel that I want to intall a remote start in using 3X lock function.

Im going to use an evo one but I saw on the forum there is an additional clutch wire that needs to be installed? also it has to be programmed to manual mode and a sequence has to be followed in order to put it in ready mode.

Is there any documenation covering the additional clutch bypass wiring because it is not mentioned in the installation manual of the truck.

Will putting it in ready mode need me to press the lock button 3x instead of just one because I wont have an rf kit installed?

Any other relevant information that is different from a automatic transmission install would be helpful as well.

When programming when I get to step 7 when I turn the key the blue light goes out. When I turn the key off blue comes back on solid. I've verified the yellow ignition wire has power and the network is working.

When i bought my 2017 ram 1500 it came with the remote start and i loved it never had an issue recently my fob died and i wasn't quick to change it it didn't bother me finally today i went and bought a tiny screw driver and changed the battery it worked and it was fine. it wasn't until my sister opened the door that i noticed that if i had my truck on and any of the doors were opened then my truck would turn off and it never did it before. how do i fix it?

I've flashed the EVO-All multiple times using both the wizard and Pro versions of the flashlink. No success. I essentially flash the module and it won't program past step 5 where the red light is supposed to turn blue and flash.

No clue where to go from here.

I'm using the T-Harness as well so there's no direct wiring.

Properly programmed and connected. Turns the igniton on for a few second then turns off with no crank. It does everything except cranking the engine. I have tried reset, rolled back firmware, reprogramming the module a few times....everything except hardwiring. It even shut off the engine with 3 button press.

Is there any warranty on a the evo device that stopped working out of the blue? My 2014 ram broke down a couple of nights ago and the dtcs state the can bus was not ok. U0001 I removed the can high wire from evo and all issues went away and cleared. I love my remote starter and fob, is there anyway to get this module repaired or replaced ?

Ok so not long ago i bought my first evo-all for my truck with a t-harness and intalled/programed everything myself with zero issues and it has been awesome. A few days ago a co-worker came to me and asked me to install the same kit on his truck which just so happened to be the same model and year as my truck so i agreed know it should be a simple deal.

Unfortunatly after the install I have been chasing issue and having problems the constantly. It started with a problem were the truck would intermittently begin to start with the command start and crank for 1 second then suddenly stop with no error lights. I tried to fix this assuming the yellow postive wires connection was bad or loose so I soldered the joint, heat shrinked it and taped it up to make sure it was secure. i tested it after that and had three succesfull starts in a row.

The next morning my coworker came to me and said it did the same thing were it tried to start for 1 second and then stopped. I went back in and varified all the connections and made damn sure my soldered joint was good. I then attempted to reflash the module and reload everything and now when i get to step 8 were you enter the key for the second time and then turn it to run and it should go from red and blue to blue flashing, it just goes to no lights at all. I tried this twice with no success so i continued on and dcrypted the module and tried to start the truck and the module doesnt sense the key.Im at a loss, can you help?

evo one ram promaster 2020 no solid blue light. checked all wires for connectios they are good. Looking at the wire color info and it shows that there is a second 12+(2) connection but the install guide ony show to 2017. Are there two 12+ connections or not.
