<title>What do the lock &amp; unlock wires do in EVOGMT3 standalone?</title>
<link>/en/qa/65649/what-do-the-lock-%26-unlock-wires-do-in-evogmt3-standalone</link>
<description>I&amp;#039;m reviewing the Install C for the EVOGMt3 and see it&amp;#039;s calling for lock &amp;amp; unlock wire connections to the BCM for non-OnStar vehicles. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; If the customer is going to be using his OEM remotes, what do these connections accomplish? &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The only thing I can think of is that it&amp;#039;s a work-around for the OEM keyless system shutting down while the vehicle is running....please advise</description>
