Blue led blinks twice while off from fob lock/unlock command.

Red led blinks and brake lights turn on after 3x lock, engine starts.

Red and Yellow led remain on while in remote start.

Blue led flashes twice from unlock, but not lock, command.

A1-A6 enabled

A7-A11 disabled (No support for OEM fob takeover before 2009)

B1-B2 disabled

C1 enabled

D1 enabled (15 minute runtime)

D2 disabled (this didn't help)

D3 disabled (so vehicle will stay on)

D4 disabled (not a hybrid)

Protocol - Fortin

No special functions

No RF kit

Lock button INSIDE car push 3x car starts.

2017 Nissan Sentra, Standard key. W/ THIS5 harness installation. Remote start works great and as it should even with rf kit remote AND oem key fob 3x lock button. BUT pushing the lock button INSIDE the car 3x also starts the vehicle, needing to turn this if possible. Evo one S/N #002B04 121826. Thanks for all the help!

Ever wonder how your module has been set up? If you have the correct firmware and options for your vehicle?

Did you know you can check all of these things simply by entering the service number on the back of the module in the search bar located on fortin.ca!

Give it a shot the next time you are unsure of how the module has been configured!

EVO-ONE with T-Harness installation

For the tachometer setting when I select Tach Data-Link only (20.6) or Tachless on crank and supervision by Tach Data-Link (20.1), the car shuts off after 2-3 seconds after the engine starts. However, when I set Tachless only (20.2) the engine stays on. Is it okay with selecting Tachless only setting? I thought it's better for evo to continue monitoring the tachometer.

With the Tachless only setting, I started the car with OEM remote X3 Lock feature. When I pressed UNLOCK (with the original key for programming the module) to get in the car it wouldn't open the door. I already made some connections with Yello/green(D1) and yellow/red(D3) to make my oem remote to be operable when engine is running. Is there anything i can do to diagnose this? I did the continuity test on the wires and it was fine.

When I set down on the car and stepped on the brake pedal, it didn't shut off the engine although I enabled the feature through the flash link. Do I need to wire something extra? I know where is the foot-brake line in the car, I just don't know where I can connect it to on EVO-One.

And when i tried to start the car with my key, it wouldn't start the engine. Now i can only start the car with my remote.

Any solutions?

Have an evo one installed that is programmed for the directed remote start and will not start with key fob

Good afternoon,

Bottom line up front: EVO-ALL won't start my 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT push to start.

Details:I recently purchased an EVO-ALL to use as a remote start solution, without requiring a separate remote starter add-on (the website shows I can use it this way for my vehicle). I also purchased a Flashlink unit to update the EVO-ALL to the latest stable/recommended version, without issues.

Using the Fortin diagram for wiring, it appears that several wires that would be connected to a remote starter simply aren't connected at all, such as the starter wire, parking lights, etc. I successfully programmed the EVO-ALL for my 2014 Hyundai Elantra GT, and connected the wires as per the Fortin guide. I also consulted the Wirecolor guide, which showed both those same wires that I connected, as well as the seemingly unneeded wires that would connect to a remote starter.

Using the Fortin install guide, I successfully programmed the EVO-ALL when it was connected to my vehicle, but it will not remote start my vehicle. When I push the lock button, the blue LED lights up. When I push the OEM keyfob 3x times, the red LED lights up, then the yellow LED lights up, then nothing at all. The vehicle doesn't start. No ignition, no crank, no start....nothing but LED activity on the EVO-ALL and door locks.

I've used the online troubleshooting guide, and that didn't provide any helpful solutions.

Do you have any idea why this might be the case? Are those wires that I didn't connect still required, since I am not using a separate remote starter? If so, how do I connect them? The Fortin install guide assumes the user has a remote starter, and doesn't provide wiring instructions for someone who is NOT using one. The Wirecolor install guide also assumes the user has a separate remote starter module.

Thanks in advance for your assistance with this. My wife is eagerly awating her birthday present!

**By the way....I have the exact same problem with a second EVO-ALL for my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe PTS...same issue, same circumstances, same result (won't start). I didn't want to make another post for this one, but he service number for this EVO-ALL is 001A06430027.

EVO-ONE disable 3X lock remote start

I intalled EVO ONE for my Honda accord 2014 standard key and I also installed a compustar G9 RF kit.

Now, I want to disable the 3X lock remote start. I have tried to disable 38.2 3x lock. The car will not be remote started. But, it will follow the normal remote start precedure to unlock the door and relock it. (In order to disable the factory alarm and security system, the door will be unlocked and relock after engine started).

How can I completely disable the 3X lock remote start functionality. I just want to remain remote start function by click the remote start buttion on compustar remotes( the remote has remote start button).

Firmware 76.17. Wiring all matched up. Cut the yellow loop. Module programmed as per instructions. I enabled D2 and D6. Changed function 11 to mode 4, and function 38 to mode 2.

I've not yet used an Evo-One, so I'm sure its something on my end. This customer wanted to use his oem key fob, so I thought I'd try one out.

Seems like a cool piece, just need to learn the ins/ous of these.

I cant remote start the vehicle.
When I push 3x the lock button on the vehicle remote, nothing happen.
I double checked the wires, and all 7 was soldered. I can sent you pictures of the connection that I made.
The programming was made successfully as well. When I plug the six pin cable, the LEDs alternate from blue yellow red and when I release the programming button, the blue LED stay still. Then I connect the others cables and turn the ignition to ON position (without start the engine) so the leds start to flash quickly on red then quickly on blue. That's all.
My vehicle is a Ford Fusion 2014/2015 SE 2.0 with normal start.

That guide covers basic option setting for 3x Lock Start on Automatic vehicles.
If your vehicle is Manual/Standard transmission, you will also have to enable option 33.2.
Flash-Link Updater REQUIRED

Quick Run down.

The EVO-ONE has two sets of options. There are options for the remote starter portion while there are also options for the bypass portion of the unit. The remote starter options are used mainly for convenience features such as enabling 3x lock start, alarm functions, cold timers etc... while the bypass options are there to set various DATA / Can-Bus features such as the all important OEM Remote Monitoring.

To toggle between remote starter and bypass options (and firmware updates) via the Flash-Link Manager, you must press the TOGGLE button in the flash-link manager program while the unit is disconnected. There is a text on the bottom right corner that will tell you if you are in Connection Mode : Bypass or Connection Mode : Remote Starter.

While Connection Mode : Remote Starter is active, go to the EVO-ONE Options tab and enable the following option(s).

Option 38.2 - Enable 3x Lock Start (this tells the remote starter that it will be controlled via the oem remote commands detected and then sent via the integrated bypass module)
Option 33.2 - Enable this option only if you have a manual transmission vehicle.
While here, if the vehicle specific install guide also mentions other required options, please set them now.
Don't forget to SAVE OPTIONS.

While Connection Mode : Bypass is active,

First, make sure you have selected and flashed the unit to the latest firmware for your vehicle. You will find the latest firmware under the EVO-ONE Updates tab.
Go to EVO-ONE Options
Scroll through the options and enable Option C1 - OEM Remote Monitoring (this option allows the bypass portion to actually monitor the oem remotes so that the previous 38.2 option can actually work).
Attention! Please leave all the A1-A11 options untouched unless told otherwise.
Don't forget to SAVE OPTIONS

13 elantra regular key will not 3x start

Installed the evo one in a 2013 elantra as the install guide states, to be used as a 3x remote start. unit programs perfectly but does not remote start when pushing lock 3x. when pushing lock the blue LED lights up.
