I finished installing the EVO One on my 2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i. I connected all the required cable according to the guide. I used Flashlink to install the 84.12 Bypass firmware and 1.26 Remote starter firmware. I successfully completed the programing procedure in GUIDE # 97491 for Evo one with THAR-ONE-SUB1 harness using decryptor. I also enabled the 3x oem remote start setting. The issue I am having now is the would sometimes start momentarily then immediately dies or the starter would click but not turn over. I tried messing around with the tactless sensitivity levels in flashlink but still having the same issue.

I have all the wires in place, have a toggle kill switch, programmed correctly and did the Flashlink Dcryptor. When I attempt to remote start, it does not start. I see a blue led light the controller when I hit lock on my key fob, but that's it.

I have a 2014 Honda Acord Push Start. With the remote start in place, the car still operates as normal.

Successfully installed the system and it is working. Brake shutdown too.

However, now the vehicle is throwing errors like 00526, which all seem to stem from the brake switch/signal. Would this likey be a programming error? Just need some guidance before pulling things apart.

Also, yesterday on remote start it turned over for less than a second and did not start. tried again and it started. Brand new battery, so wondering if it is related to that brake signal somehow.

EVO-ONE 2015 Mazda 3 Manual Transmission - Remote Start Will Not Activate

2015 Mazda 3 Grand Touring Hatchback, push-to-start, smart key, manual transmission. I cannot get the module to start the vehicle with 3x OEM remote lock. I've followed the instructions for manual transmission in Guide #68261. My EVO-ONE serial number is 002B04 298695 and it is dated 09/2022. Here's what I've done:

EVO-ONE flashed with Firmware 85.12.
Using T-Harness.
Yellow loop wire NOT cut
White wire labeled "for manual transmission only" on the T-harness is connected to the white wire coming out of the 20-pin connector. These wires are just butt spliced with no other connection.
DCryptor process to enable key bypass appears to have been successful from all FlashLink software messages.
Remote starter option 33 is set to mode 2 for foot brake - handbrake - release foot brake Ready Mode process.
Remote starter option 38 is set to mode 2 to enable 3x lock with OEM remote.
Bypass option C1 is on for OEM remote status monitoring.
I did not install a hood pin. I am not concerned about remote starting while the hood is open. Bypass option A11 is set to "off."
Bypass options for foot brake, hand brake, door output monitoring are all set to "on."

To enable ready mode, I depress the foot brake, engage the hand brake, release the footbrake, and exit the car while it is still running without pushing the start button. The car just sits there and runs, nothing happens when I close the door and walk so that the smart key is out of range. I also tried doing this with shutting the car off before exiting and was still not able to remote start the vehicle.

When I press the lock button on the OEM remote, the blue LED on the EVO-ONE blinks indicating it is reading the CAN bus messages.

When the car is running, the yellow LED on the EVO-ONE is steadily illuminated.

At no point does the red LED on the EVO-ONE illuminate. It does not turn on after pressing the OEM remote lock button 3x.

When I press the OEM lock button 3x after the above ready mode process, absolutely nothing happens except the car horn beeps on the 2nd and 3rd presses like it normally would.

vehicle will not stay running

sometimes the truck will not stay running when trying to remote start i have the rf kit aswell. when it happenes it doesnt matter which i use the rf or they factory fob the truck will try to start then shut down a second after firing. ive updated firmware performed factory reset and am still having the issue. everything is installed correctly by the book supplied by yall. to temporarily remedy this i have to unplug the unit then redo the holding down the programing button syncing both fobs which get rather annoying. when it happens the red an orange lights will come on while the blue light very faintly flashes the truck will try to fire then when it shuts off the blue light will flash. then the yellow light will become solid after a second the blue light will flash again and then it resets and tries to start again. also the security light on the truck will flash not sure if thats normal or not. i would like a remedy to this issue other than to keep reseting it every time which defets the purpose of having a remote starter.

After key bypass programming, the engine does not start even when pressing the 3 x Lock button.

But, If you press the lock button 3 times, the EVO ONE module will make a tick-tick and sound 3 times.

Is the harness installation wrong?

Wiring completed per Instalation Guide #58161

Decryptor programed per process outlined starting Page 8 of Guide #58161 for one OEM key

When completing steps 1 to 9 all lights correctly match the Guide #58161 with step 9 flashing blue and then to Step 10 alternating Flashing Red to Yellow when key turned off

Completed Steps 11 to 13 using Flashlink Dispalys successfully Programed

When reconnected to wiring harnesses and perform 3x lock on OEM Key there is no response of any kind from Remote start..

All wiring have been confirmed to be correct per Guide #58161

With ignion key off and key out there are no lights displayed on the Evo-All

When engine is running with key the Yellow Evo-All light is dispalyed solid

2019 Subaru Outback standard Key installed EVO One with sub1 and sub3 T-harness and RF kit. Will not remote start when rf kit is plugged in. Will remote start when it's unplugged but when vehicle is not in operation the hatch keeps unlocking causing vehicle battery drain and ultimately a dead battery overnight. The serial number for my unit is SN: 002B04 192340

Someone please help. I spent a good amount of money on this thing for it to not work.

I installed an EVO ALL on my Passat 2016 automatic transmission with OEM fob, it remote starts with no problem, i select 15 minutes option, but when I try to unlock the car with my fob it doesn’t respond, I have to wait until car stops then unlock it, also I did try opening the car with the key lock and the car stops when I open the door. Is any especial configuration to make the fob works while the car is running on remote start?

I have successfully installed the EVO-ONE module in my 2006 Dodge Dakota using the THAR-CHR5 t-harness. Remote start works using the 3x lock initiation via OEM remote. However, the cabin blower motor is not being triggered on remote start.

I have done some digging and it looks like the blower motos is on a negative trigger (purple accessory wire). I need to add a second relay in order to trigger this accessory, but need help to know which wires to connect on the relay in order to give me negative trigger out.

I just finished installing the EVO-All in standalone on my 2013 Q5 keyport with t harness. Tested the 3X lock a few times and it worked but now it does nothing. Also I installed the MPC SMartphone control with it and having the same issue. It worked on my phone a few times and now does nothing.

Working with an EVO-ALL using a THAR-TOY6 harness on an automatic 2016 GS350. Was able to program the EVO-ALL with flashing blue light at end of process but does nothing when I press LOCK button on key fob three times. When I turn on car EVO-ALL shows yellow light. Tried resetting the unit and re-programming it with same results. Also double checked 3 connections (1 going to start button, and 2 going to can hi & low).

I installed a evo one remote starter in a 2016 Acura TLX.I used a THAR-HON 4 REV.3 T-harness. is this the correct t-harness?. Everything thing went fine with installation and with the programming also. Now if you try to start in the regular way with the push button. It doesn't want to start every time.

I installed this on my 2011 Altima. Flashed and programmed fine, when I hit lock 3x the parking lights will flash and brake lights turn on but doesn't start. If I have another person sit in the car and push the start button while remote starting, vehicle will start. Not sure what to do please help.

GMT-6 Module is currently installed. Car starts with Oem remote (lock unlock lock), keyless entry / push-to-start.

1. Once the car is started with the remote, the remote doesn't work to unlock/lock the car unless i turn the engine off. Anyway we can get around this?

2. If the timer on the remote runs out (let's say after 15 minutes), the car turns off, auto-unlocks the entire car, and keeps the lights on. Anyway we can stop it from unlocking?

3. My old/previous car used to have a crimestopper ( i think), remote start, and it had this feature where if i stop somewhere to get something quick, I can pull the handbrake, and that would trigger the remote start system to take over, while i remove the key and lock the running car.

Is this feature possible here? currently i turn off the car. Exit, Lock, remote start, then walk away.

I installed a EVO ALL on my 2011 Jeep Liberty. It worked about 10 times, then it stopped working. Unit now blinks blue when I click the lock button three times followed by 5 red blinking lights. I have disabled the Hood Trigger option and reflashed. I'm still getting the same response. I am in the 'Run' position on my 'vallet' switch... Not sure what other options to try.

what is most puzzeling is that this starter worked... then it didn't... and doesn't.

Any help? or ideas?

Installed EVO-ALL with T-harness 4 on my 2016 Ford Escape. Everything works ok except these 2 issues.

1. I programmed to start with the lock-unlock-lock command using factory fob. It works with the fob but it will also start by pushing interior door locking switches in the same manor. Is this normal? I did connect the white to unlock and white/black to lock through a diode per instructions. I also cut the door pin wire and connected the green/white to the low volt side and green/red to the high volt side per instructions. Not sure if any of this plays a part but it doesn't seem to me it should work this way.

2. I installed the parking light relay per instructions. I thought the relay would allow the park lights to come on while the vehicle is running on remote stater. I does not. The relay trigger is connected to the brown/white wire. I have tested the relay by grounding the trigger wire and it does turn on park lights, just doesn't turn them on during remote start run time. I did turn on parking light control option in the program.

Any suggestions appreciated.

why is my module not turning on

just bought a remote start for my 2007 dodge ram 3500 with the 5.9L diesel. i bought the Evo-all module with evo-chrt5 harness along with the flashlink updater 4 and the RF-ALL 642W remotes. i followed the direction giving but cant seem to get the module to power up. i have the T-harness pluged into the only locating it can go, have both postive yellow wires connected(one from the harness and one form the 20 pin connecter side). then connected the puple wire form the harness to the green and red wire on the 20 pin connecter side. i am getting power to ther yellow wire but not getting anything to the purple and green/red wire. No light have came on on the module at all, and i tryed hooking it up to the flashlink updater and the module still wont light up or connect. flashlink has been updated and is function as it says it should, but module cannot be detected.

Any help would be apprecaited thanks.

i recently installed evo-all stand alone with T-harness Thar-GM6 and ASCL6 Every thing seems to program normally with out any problem but when i go back and check functionality i find severals problems

#1. Car can still be driven away if i dont have my keys on me. (Unlock with phone --> open door --> press brake --> put car in gear --> drive away)

here is a problem when i try to shut off the engine and press push-to-start button it shuts the engine but it stays in accesory mode and keeps telling me it could not find key and tells me to press brake and push push-to-start button to restart engine. To my surpise it starts without key again ( i have to press two times to shut it off) other wise accesory will still be on even if i get out of the car and lock some body can get in and start without keys (not to mention it will drain the batterty

#2. When i try to open trunk with one button it opens glass and trunk lid at the same time i can't seem to separate those two commands

question #1 isn't it suppouse to shuts off without key (sercurity/safety reason)??

#2 did i miss something?

#3 what can be done to separate opening glass from trunk lid (put them on two separate Aux channel)

may be i need to cut and reconnect C5 (brown wire) to Grey 26-Pin plug pin 23 (green wire) because its connected to 27-Pin Blue Connector pin 22 ?

Hi everyone,

I have a Mazda CX5 and installed Fortin Evo One with Thar-One-Maz3 T-harness. Everything works fine except:

I remote started the car by 3x locks, get in the car and press Start button (without pressing brakr pedal) then drive, i-stop feature did not work anymore. I-stop works as normal if I press brake pedal to stop engine then press Start button and drive.

Is there anything I can do or configure to make i-stop works after performing "take over" procedure?

But my oem remote is not functional after i remote started. But there must be an modificiation to shut down also with the oem remote. Somebody can help me?

I have a different problem than the other NO KEY DETECTED questions in the forum.

1. I have a flash updater ( most current flash)

2. I checked all the wiring and voltages

3. Using the Fort1 on 2014 Transit Connect XL with no existing remote start

After programming with the 2 key method, the read out says NO KEY DETECTED and the car does not start, but the car goes into run mode. After reinsterting the key, the car still will not start with the key, until the EVO is unplugged.

After programming with the Dcrytor method, the Fortin Updater says there is no key data.

Went through programming. Red light is on next to loop and loop was cut before install. No color lights come on when remote starting. Hooked up to guide 72581. Did not hook up door locks, parking lights and or hood pin yet. Does good pin need installed to make work?

2017 Highlander Push to start EVO All standalone with Tharness & Evo start2 It Locks/Unlocks but DIDNT remotely start from Mobile.

I had evoall standalone with Tharness installed on the 2017 Toyota Highlander push to start working perfectly fine

Purchased a evo start2 with flash Link Updator 4

Removed the evo all module and update the firmare to latest

Save receommended options and save the options

Checked the Option C1,D1 H & H2 are on on the module

Try to decrypt thru decryptor, didnt succed

Installed EVostart 2 Antenna in the car windshield

NOTE: the antenna cable shown in installation guide is bit different from shown, have more connector and loose 4 cables red black yellow and green

Using Connection1 from evostart2 guide for EVO ALl standalone Installation

StepA:Connect 6 pin Antenna conector to Antenna

Step B: Connect 4 pin female blue connector to 4 pin male black connector from T harness

STep C: Connect Yellow wire from Antenna cable to Yellow wire going on A1 on 20pin white connector of T harness

Program EVO All with EVO start2 and got a green light. (programming successful)

Installed app on mobile and try to start,

When trying to start from MObile, the evostart2 gets a signal, shows blue light in atenna , but do nothing

I tried with OEM key fob for lock x3, it does nothing

Factory Reset the module, flash the module using flash Link Updator 4

Turn on c1 d1 and d6 h2

Program the module again and works with oem remote

Program the evo start2

Able to lock and Unlock, but not able to start from mobile

If starting from outside the car, it cranks but never starts, as if the immobilizer is active due to decryptor key code not working. Ive started over from square one several times with the same results and now it says that Ive reached the limit for this car.....and it still doesnt work.

Hi, I installed the EVO-ALL in my 2018 Tiguan today. The car is an automatic transmission, without virtual cluster and using a standard key (not a push to start).

I used the EVO-ALL hardware version 7 with the THAR-VW2 harness with the keywrap method for a standalone installtion (Guide # 72011). The EVO-ALL firware is updated to version 7.64.06 from 2019-11-23 as recommened by FlashLink Manager (Guide 72011 is recommending at least hardware version 6 with firmware 6.75.35) I did not changed any settings except for the run time which is now set to maximum and kept all the recommended settings turned on.

The EVO-ALL programmed sucessfully (solid blue led when connecting the data-link, connected remaining connectors, turned the key to ON, blue led flashed rapidly, turned key off).

Now the car will start normally when using the key, but when trying to remote start using 3X lock with the OEM remote, the car wont start and there is no activity on the EVO-ALL (no LED).

I double checked my connections at least 5 times. I'm pretty sure they are all good, I soldered the wires as per aviation standards (I'm an avionic tech so making good solder is an everyday task for me). The dark blue wire for the valet switch isn't installed yet (not grounded).

The troubleshooting section of Fortin's website is telling me ''If the red led does not turn on verify the options needed for the evo''. So I'm a little lost, any idea what I am missing?

Plugged in the Tharness correctly. When connecting the moduel I held down the small button on it while connecting the black power wire, and let go of it when the light was blue. Connected the white wire on the other side of the module. turned on truck to ignition on, waited for blue light to flicker for a bit then ignition off and key out. Tried the triple press on lock and nothing happens. Turn to ignition on again and the module is showing a yellow light.

Vehichle won't stay running. I have updated it and used C1 and D1 enabled. If I bypass the key it will stay running but that would be a annoying having to lock the van two times to turn the engine off. I have the hood part installed and the yellow wire hooked up too. The OEM key does everything else I just wanted the remote start.

2012 G37x won't remote start unless factory fob is present in vehicle.

G37 is automatic and push-to-start. I have installed the T-harness and programmed the Evo successfully multiple times. I tried different options with the Flash link updater as well.

While monitoring the Evo's LEDs, I can see the blue LED flash with each lock press. After the third press the red LED comes on for a second and the brake lights come on. Red LED flashes a few more times like it's trying to start but to no avail. It repeats this process for 2 or three times I think.

If I hit lock x3 while the key fob is in the vehicle, it starts right up.

I have double checked all my connections. Considering that it's a T-harness, this shouldn't be an issue.

Hi Guys.

I have a 2018 Subaru Impreza Premium trim with regular key start. I have updated EVO ONE to the latest software (both, Bypass and remote options), selected recommended options from the latest manual. After connection all the wires and harnesses today (i have used a T-harnes for the ignition) . After programming the EVO-ONE successfully, I went home, ran Decryptor, then waited for the update to finish, and unplugged when the message said it is save to do so. Went to the car, hooked all harnesses back and... car doesn't respond to 3x Remote start. It would start normally with the key and all functionality is there, just doesn't remote start. Please, advice.

P.S. I did cut the yellow loop for Automatic Transmission, but have changed 1 option in remote settings to have the car on only for 7 minutes. Also, I didn't connect the hood pin switch, because I never work under the engine bay and in my previous fortin installs it worked fine without it

2018 F250 flip key remote start not starting if truck sits for a couple days

I used EVO-FORT1 (Evo-all with Ford t harness) 3x lock. I installed on 2018 F350 tow trucks. Most have air brakes. If the truck sits for a couple days and you try to remote start, It says "brake error" on the dash and will not start. If you start it with the key, let it run for a while and then remote start it works fine. let it set a few days "brake error" and no start. Any idea how to fix this? I did a fleet of 15 trucks and 12 have air brakes and all 12 with air brakes are doing this. Customer is not happy. Please help asap.

Takeover sequence not working. remote starts fine. once key is set to run, foot on brake shuts car off.

oem key takeover not successful. tried reprogramming evo-all with 4 pinwire followed instructions stuck on step 6, blue light solid won't flash when key turned on. troubleshooting indicated no signal from ignition wire (yellow wire). is something wrong with wiring. now can't start car at all even when evo-all disconnected, I can't go to work.
