2020 Honda Civic auto-locking when closing door

Hello, I've noticed something odd when getting out of the car. When I dis-engage the ready mode (foot on brake, parking brake on, foot off brake, then tapping the brake once more and turning the car off with the push button) I noticed that after opening the door and closing it after about 3-5 seconds after the doors auto-lock, with the fob still in the car. When I have my fob with me, the car normally locks when I walk away, and I still at least have time to walk around to the other side of the car(or any other door) before it locks.

Thank goodness I either had access to the spare fob, or the windows were rolled down and I can grab my bag with the key in it, but is there any way to disable that from the module?

EVO ONE Ready Mode Design Flaw

I recently had the Fortin Evo One installed on my 2020 Civic Si. Not only is it very finicky on the amount of times lock is required to be pressed to start (sometimes 3, sometimes 4 with no pattern), I have noticed a problem with ready mode I have seen no one talk about. To enable ready mode you must press the brake, engage parking brake, then release the parking brake. The problem with this is you're unable to use your parking brake without enabling ready mode. I was giving a friend a ride and when I had dropped them off I enabled my parking brake so they could grab their things out of the back. Well ready mode had activated and once they exited, as I was driving off the car had shut off while I was driving!!! If anyone has a fix to this please let me know ASAP

I have evo one 22 civic with alarm enabled everything is working correctly including door and hood and trunk does set off the evo alarm properly oem key and with evo start lte with siren

except impact sensor alarm is enabled reflashed decrypted a few times

impact sensor has power it flashes properly when it detects shock even tried directly quickly tapping the blue wire on impact sensor plug directly to ground nothing happens I'm pretty sure

evo One is faulty ?

Hello,

I have read a bunch of responses regarding clutch bypass for manual transmission vehicles. Some say to splice to the clutch switch, others say use a 180 ohm resistor. Both the T-Harness manual and the regular install manual have NO mention of manual transmission using the A5 white wire (im assuming) or where/how to install.

1) how do I tell if my clutch is Negative or Positive?

2) Do I need a resitor in line of the A5 White wire? Is this the correct wire?

3) Does it matter which wire on the clutch switch I splice to?

2018 Civic Si No ready mode (RF 442)

Just installed an evo one and Rf-442 kit on my 2018 PTS civic. Used the Hon7 harness, so I had to do the interruption at the steering lock and tap into the clutch wire. Also ran the dcrytor process when the guide prompted. Also worth noting that the yellow light is lit when the ignition is on. Whenever I try to remote start the car with either remote, the parking lights blink 3 times indicating that the car isn't in ready mode. When I programmed the module using wizard mode, I made sure to select the middle sequence (car in neutral, foot on brake, park brake...etc), but when I leave the car, it continues running and says that the key fob is not detected on the dash. Made sure that valet mode was disabled via the rf antenna. All of the other functions of the rf remote seem functional minus the remote start.

Im guessing this is a programming error, any help would be appreciated

Ma question concerne un Evo-One sur un Honda Civic 2017 PTS manuel (option 33.2 (mode prêt à démarrer activé automatiquement).

Après avoir activé le mode prêt à démarrer, être sorti du véhicule et avoir fermé la porte, le véhicule émettait une 10aine de "beep" rapides (walk-away?).

Je viens de mettre à jour le firmware du bypass et du démarreur, espérant que le problème se règle par magie, mais au contraire, le problème est pire qu'avant: j'ai maitenant 3 séries de beep au lieu d'une...

Maintenant, quand on sort avec le mode prêt à démarrer activé et qu'on referme la porte, la série de beep se fait entendre (1), le moteur arrête, puis la série de beep se fait entendre à nouveau (2).

Aussi, quand on entre dans le véhicule (qu'il soit démarré à distance au préalable ou non), la série de beep se fait encore entendre (3).

Au départ, l'Evo-one avait la version 4.11 du bypass et 1.25 du démarreur, installé selon le guide #80011 rev 20180913.

Je viens de le mettre à jour (bypass 73.38 et démarreur 1.26).

Note: Dans le schéma de branchement de la dernière révision du guide (20201008), 2 nouveaux branchements ont été ajoutés comparativement à la rev 20180913 (C1 et C2 sur CAN LOW2 et CAN HIGH2). J'ai ajouté ces 2 branchements, mais je me demande s'il fallait vraiment les faire, car "C1" et "C2" ne sont pas encadrés à côté de l'Evo-One dans le diagramme, contrairement à toutes les autres pins...

Bref, mes 2 questions sont:

1- Comment régler le problème des "beeps" lorsqu'on enre et sort du véhicule.

2- Est-ce que je laisse C1 et C2 branchés?

2009 Honda Civic - Not locking after start

I purchased a Fortin Evo-One with the THAR-HON-A2 T-harness for my 2009 Honda Civic (automatic) with facory Alarm.

I went through the Options in the Fortin App and flashed it with the latest firmware. I configured the option to LOCK the door after it remote starts. I also configured the option to not stop the car when the door is opened. The car starts up fine, but it does NOT lock the door after the remote start and it stops the engine when i open the door. It seems to be ignoring all the options I have set.

It is not clear to me if I need to tap into the drivers door lock harness or not. I was under the impression that the door locks would be controlled by the CANBUS and this hookup was no longer required with the newer firmware.

Any suggestions?

Evo one, with Hon 7 harness. Some times, not every time, I will get an error with Keyless system error when starting the car normally. This error also pops up after I get into ready mode as well.

EVO-ONE key bypass programming issue - Honda Civic 2012

I am trying to setup key bypass programming on 2012 Honda Civic using EVO-One using T-harness.

I am only able to go up to step 4 where the red-light is flashing once and pause. but when I goto step 5 and turn the ignition on all the lights go off. I tried reflshing the unit and still same issue.

can someone help me?

2016 Civic with regular key using evo-all(sn 001A07 159806) and avital 4115L. Sometimes it doesn't start after sitting for 20 minutes or so(doors locked, factory alarm on). It will just crank. Dash lights come on as normal. Will start on 2nd attempt. Doors unlock on 1st attempt to disarm alarm. Starts fine with key. Any ideas?

Can't find anything on the guide for the connection between three EV-ONE and three trunk release wire. Which wire for the evo-one is used for the trunk release. The guide for the vehicle does indicate trunk open is supported.

To my knowledge, the EVO-ALL and EVO-ONE only work as an immobilizers on 2005 civics. I'm a bit confused as to what products I would need to remote start my civic as there doesn't seem to be anything in the fortin lineup capable of doing it. My whole plan was to install an evo start 2 but that doesn't seem possible. Can anyone confirm?

2016-2019 Honda Civic doors auto-Lock feature no longer working after EVO-ONE installation

Hello,

After the EVO-One installation, Honda's stock feature of automatically locking the doors when walking away from the car is no longer working (feature called "Walk Away Door Lock"). After the EVO-One installation, the feature works for a day or two and then stops working. Me along with a few people I know have been experiencing the same problem even though we had our modules installed at different dealers.

I verified that the feature is enabled on the car, I updated the module to the latest firmware, but the problem remained (I had to downgrade to a previous version afterwards though).

I see this problem has been addressed quite a few times in the past months/years but no official answer was provided to fix the problem. Is it a known issue? Is Fortin working on a fix?

I am going through the FlashLink Manager setup on my Evo One & THAR-ONE-HON3 and was curious if I can use 38.5 (Lock-Unlock-Lock to remote start) instead of using 38.2 (Lock x3 to remote start)?

The vehicle specific manual says to use 38.2 but I would prefer to use 38.5.

Is this possible?

Evo-One installed and functional on 2018 Honda Civic SI push to start manual with takeover 3x lock oem. Does remote starter option 25.6 aux 1 analog yellow/black wire being set ON interfere with/disable the data/can bus aux 1 heated seats on my vehicle or should both run fine simultaneously? I’m getting mixed responses from different tech support agents. I’m trying to trigger both the heated seats and my rear defroster via temperature option 39.2 if possible instead of using dark blue ground 32.1 option (which unfortunately is not temperature activated via 39.2)

On My Honda Civic 2012, I have a remote starter. It was working like charme for a while, I dont know what model is, FSA-206/208 or 209 ?

Last week, while remote-strating the car: The car did start but 2 seconds after the alarm starts. And the only way to stop it (the alarm) is to unlock the driver door with the key.

I tried again few days after, same issue.

I replaced the batteries of the remote and tried again.... same issue.

I dont understand why & how the alarm goes on.

So far everything works i just have to push the clutch down to simulate the bypass, i just need some help figuring out whether i need to splice inthe the clutch switch wire or just remove the honda wire and just attach the evo one units wire in its place. thanks.

Civic 2016 - OEM shut-off not working

I am running 73.27 on the EVO-One. I had used a newer firmware version but it didn't work right. We actually tried a few versions via recommendations on this forum and settled on 73.27 since remote start works fine.

I use LOCK - UNLOCK - LOCK for remote start.

This is the key civic not the push to start civic.

So everything is fine except that this same configuration does not work to shut off the remote start. In order to shut it off, I have to go to the car and put my key in and turn the ignition on then off. Really hoping to find a way around that. I can't find any settings in the flashlink manager so I am concerned it's probably the firmware version. Let me know your thoughts.

Also, if it is the firmware version that might be a problem because my Flash Link Manager is telling me I am not allowed to flash this device anymore???

J'ai un cas de démarrage intermitent sur un Civic 2017. J'installe régulierement du EVOONE sur des honda et c'est la premiere fois que je rencontre ce probleme. 1 fois sur 5-6 il crank pendant 8 secondes sans démarrer. Puis quand le démarreur se réessaie, il part à tous les coups. J'ai changé de version (73.16-17-18-25-27...) mais toujours le même problème.On dirait un problème de timing car le led rouge flash quand il ne part pas. J'ai enlever l'option D2 pour le mettre en 6-2 à la place mais sans résultat. J'ai remplacé le module evoone aussi... Je ne comprend pas, c'est mon seul cas sur plus de 100 véhicules...
