2014 Accord PTS - Discrepancy in Instructions?

	2014 Accord Push to Start

	Evo-One w/ T-Har-One-Hon3

Instructions on Fortin website indicate that D2 must be turned on during programming if equipped with OEM alarm. I did not turn on D2 and it is working fine, is there a reason D2 must be enabled?

I left D2 off as it seems to be more secure because there if D2 is enabled, there is a period during which the vehicle is left unlocked, so if someone was walking by and heard the vehicle unlock, they could access the vehicle before it starts and relocks.
