The unit works fine but I did not connect the parking light wire because the unit does flash the parking lights to confirm start. I figured it would blink the light once in a while while running like during start.  I assumed it used the can bus to do it. Is that possible or do I have to go connect the wire? Also, is there anyway for it to detect the factory hood pin using the can bus so I do not have to install hood pin?
