I see there is a firmware fix that addresses the "cruise control disabled under 20mph" for Mazda (evo-one firmware 85.11). If I update to this new firmware and then revert back to 0.50 in order to keep the drone mobile functionality, will the cruise control issue still be addressed? Basically, will I still get the fix from 85.11 if I downgrade to 0.50 afterwards?

Manual 3x lock stops working after car sits but drone mobile still works.

Two manual cars was noticed that the 3x lock stops working after short time. If you enable ready mode then try the three lock start right after you get out of the car It works. If you wait 30 minutes or more it does not work with the 3x lock feature anymore. Lights flash three times which means the car is not in ready mode. Cars also have drone mobile installed. The app starts cars with no issues. One is a Honda Civic 2009 the other is a Subaru crosstrek 2019. Has this issue before seen before? Why does it work when you get out of the car for a short time but then it doesn't after the cars sets for awhile but still works with drone mobile.

I have a DroneMobile DR-5400 on my Evo One right now and it works perfectly on 0.50 firmware. I also have the new DroneMobile X1-MAX and I've tried everything but have not been able get it working. I've tried it on the latest Evo firmware and 0.50 and same results. It turns on but commands do not work on the DroneMobile app. Any way to get it working?

Hi,

i have a 2015 jeep grand cherokee PTS, i installed the EVO-ONE with T-harness using guide 24941, programming the bypass, and dcryptor worked the first time. hooked up the drone mobile DR-3400 to the bypass, yes wires are switched, and bypass remote starter side is flashed 0.50. i tried to start it with the drone app and it wouldnt start, the factory alarm just went off. i then turned on option D2, reinstalled, now doors will unlock after trying to start it with the drone app, but thats all it does. ignition doesnt turn on or anything.i get a message from the drone app saying "remote start failed" what can i try to get this to work properly?

Hello. I have an evo one installed in my 2013 sonata, with drone mobile dr6400. Everything works great. However, the 3 time push lock button. I was under the assumption that the 3x push lock to start doesnt work without an rf kit. So if I were to purchase one would i be able to use it with the drone mobile installed as well?

i installed Evo-One with T-Harness 9 and Drone mobile on Toyota 4runner 2019. installed the lastest firmware for bypass, and the 0.5 firmware for remote start. I followed the guide #72361 succesful. i was able to lock/unlock door with drone mobile. However, when i commanded to start, all it does to crank the engine but wont start. I used the flashlink to change the option 2.1, 2.3, and 2.4 and no prevail. any idea which option should i adjust.

Also, OEM 3x lock wont start although i followed the instruction and set the option 38.2 and C1.

Appreciate your help.

Hey,

I have an evo-all installed with DR-1000 remote starter. It was using non-data link connection. 2g on drone mobile was discontinued so they sent me a free DR-3400. I see that drone is not compatible with Evo-all and only evo-one, and the vehicle compatability says EVO-ONE is compatible with Volvo 2008 C30.

Problem is there are no install instructions so I can verify what I have installed will work with an Evo-one. Thinking I can just buy an Evo-one and plug it in where the Evo-All was plugged in, then plug in the DR-3400 over data link and it should work. Am I missing anything? (yes I know the two cables have to be flipped for datalink to work with Evo-one and drone mobile). Origonal install was in 2011.

EVO-ONE / DRONE MOBILE - VW TIGUAN 2017 PTS AUTOMATIC

I had everything installed and working with the most current firmware(Bypass 75.38, Remote 1.24) , 3x start etc. But when I flash to 0.50 for the remote side for Drone Mobile it takes fine but I CAN NOT find the offline options anywhere no matter how i connect up the unit, the "unit options" is just missing from the CONFIGURATION menu no matter what I do (CTRL O), hence the car will not start as I can set the 3x remote to start option?

It shows "unit connected, Firmware: 0.50, Connection mode: Remote-Starter but no offline options? HELP!

I just wanted to come and say that the Drone DR-5400 does work with the EVO-ONE when following the DR-3x00 instructions. I've successfully installed one and got the remote start, lock/unlock/truck/vehicle status working.

Hello! Finally got my EVO-ONE and Drone working on my 2011 Golf manual TDI. I can get the Drone to start and stop the vehicle. I even got it to open the hatch.

However it wont lock or unlock the doors. If I hit unlock it seems to engage the ingition for a split second(gauge cluster and radio lights up) then turns off, and then the yellow light comes on. If I hit unlock again it does the same thing and then the yellow light will turn off.(The blue light does not flash at all.) If I hit lock the blue light will flash extremly quickly once but nothing else happens.

I don't want to have to keep flashing the unit and hit the flash limit because I can't change options when loaded on 0.50 RS firmware.

Evo-one plus DroneMobile, OEM Fob, and Remote Start Options

Evo-One is working as intended with the OEM fob and the latest firmware. To use the Drone module, I understand the firmware needs to be rolled-back to 0.50. Doing so removes all of the options I had with the latest firmware (eg using lock, unlock, lock instead of 3x lock). By rolling-back to 0.50, do you lose the ability to customize these options and will the OEM fob continue to work as it used to?

I am planning to buy the drone-mobile add-on. I understand that the drone-mobile kit requires the evo-one remote-start firmware to be downgraded to 0.50. Will this downgrade affect the operation of the evo-one on my 2018 tundra? I know that the 2018 tundra requires a minimum bypass firmware version, but does it require a minimum remote-start firmware for the evo-one to work (and subsequently the drone add-on)?

I follow the Guide # 27481 Connection 2 , Programming 2 , also did lock/unlock, Horn, disarm, GWR to Key Sense and foot brake wires. When using the Drone app to start the car it would not start or do anything at all, no parking light flash, no light from the 3 LED beside the red light by the yellow wire cut loop.

When the lock/unlock on the Drone app is press the door would lock/unlock/disarm parking light flash and still no start. I have reset and master reset the module, reprogram, check all the wires and relocate the ground wire still won't start or hear the relay.

Did I not program it right or am I missing some wires connection?

Would it be better to used RF kit before the Drone, seem the Alarm is working but not the remote start.

Well, right now the Evo one is out of the car so I won’t be able to go at it until the weekend the only time I’m free. Any help would be great or anyone who have done 2005 Honda Pilot Evo One with Drone with some input how you got it to work would be great too.

The main page for the EVO-ALL on this site says it is compatiable with the Compustart Drone. I want to install an EVO-CHRT6 and a Drone DR-3400 on a 2015 Dodge Jounrey but want to confirm it will all work before buying it?

Drone Mobile Issue

I have a MY15 Subaru WRX Limited 6 speed and i had the 3 key start working for the car. I also have the drone mobile that i added to the system.

From the research I ddi, i need to flash the firmware to 0.5 for the starter optoins.

Now after flashing, its seems i cannot start my manual car with tthe 3 key clicks, turbo timer, or control the functions. It wont lock , open trunk remote start...

i looiked at the hardware and after flashing, the options for the remote start disapeared, what should i do?

Just wondering if Drone DR-3100 support on the EVO-ALL module is in development. I did a 3x lock standalone remote start install on my 2013 VW GTI and would like to add drone mobile to the setup without buying another module, such as the Compustar FT-7200S-CONT.
