EVO-ONE Installation in CAMRY 2026

I have purchased the EVO-ONE kit along with the T-Harness and Flash Link tool, and I'm planning to install it in a 2026 Toyota Camry Hybrid.

While reviewing the installation manual, I have a few questions I'd like to confirm before proceeding:

Cutting the (-)IMI wire: The diagram indicates that the (-)IMI line needs to be cut during installation. Could you please explain why this step is necessary? Is there an alternative method to complete the installation without cutting this wire?
54-pin connector: Could you clarify the purpose of the 54-pin connector shown in the diagram (labeled as the black connector behind the driver's kick panel)?
ECU behind glove box: Could you also confirm what this ECU (referenced behind the glove box in the diagram) is used for in this installation?

I want to make sure I fully understand each step before starting the installation. Thank you for your help — I look forward to your response.

i installed the evo-one with thar-nis4 t harness and RF942 kit.

programmed, decrypted and reinstalled tested with oem keyfob worked great, than i programmed the 2 RF remotes, test again worked good 3 times then just stopped working. i can still unlock/lock with all 3 fobs. it will try to remote start, gets to where it should crank and nothing.

I recently purchased the THAR-ONE-MAZ5 with the EVO-ONE remote starter and immobilizer bypass module for my 2023 Mazda CX-30. I installed everything following Manual #99841, but I’m experiencing an issue.

Problem 1: Vehicle Shuts Down After Takeover

After remote-starting the vehicle using my OEM key, I follow the takeover procedure (Page 11 of Manual #99841). However, as soon as I press the brake pedal, the engine shuts off.

Problem 2: A/C & Accessories Not Working Properly

Additionally, most accessories (including A/C) do not turn on during remote start. Even if I manually activate the A/C after remote starting, I can hear the compressor running, but the blower fan does not work nor the A/C interface screen.

I used the evo-one on an ‘07 Camry with the standard key with a dot and it worked without buying an additional RF kit. I just enabled C1 programming option.

Hello dear, I need to reset this module limit EVO-ALL S/N : 001A07 535399 Toyota Camry 2023 decoding procedure does not work I have a 2023 Evo One I installed the THAR-TOY13 cable, but when trying to follow Dcryptor programming procedures the process fails at step 5. 1. I connect the six-pin connector with the programming button. Flashing LED lights appear to me as shown. 2. I lift my finger when the light is blue, but it remains still blue. 3. I connect the rest of the conductors.. 4. Press the start button twice to start the engine, the blue LED indicator turns off and then flashes quickly. 5. I press the start button once to stop the engine, and instead of the blue LED indicator continuing to flash quickly, it turns off and doesn't flash back.

I have installed an EVO-ONE with the THAR-ONE-HON1 on a 2007 Acura MDX. All connections have been made to include the parking lights but I did the connection at the combination switch since I could not find the other plug. Could you guide to the correct plug.

2024 Grand Highlander Dcryptor Procedure not working

Hi,

Evo One 2019 with the QR code, firmware 88.37. I have the THAR-TOY16 harness installed but when I try to follow the Dcryptor Programming Procedure, it fails at step 5.

1. I plug in the 6 pin connector holding the programming button. I get the flashing LEDs as described.

2. I release when it's blue and it remains solid blue.

3. I plug in the rest of the connectors.

4. I press the Push-to-Start twice to turn on the ignition and the blue LED goes out and then comes back on flashing rapidly.

5. I press the Push-to-Start once to turn off the ignition and instead of the blue LED continuing to flash rapidly, it goes out and doesn't come back on.

i have just installed my evo-one with the gm3 t harness, and 942 rf kit on a 2015 chevy silverado 2500hd with standard key and onstar. i got the remote start and locks to work during testing but after i buttoned up, being careful not to stress any wires, my locks are no longer functioning. the remote says it worked, i hear the relays clicking, and see the parking lights flash. if i try to start the truck it will successfully start and run for about 3 seconds before shutting down. i will get several flashes of the parking lights but then it will not try to start again. i have counted 2 and 4 flashes after a failed remote start and i have even seen "service theft detterent system" on my dash a time or two after a failed start.

Also will the evo one detect the electronic handbrake via CAN? Can I use the t harness and then wire in the bypass separately?

Can I use firmware 0.82 in the remote starter of Evo-One, so that i can wire 3xlock manual by (-) to the middle pin of the shock sensor to use the OEM Remote to start the car by 3xLock?

Or is there another firmware that will do the same function better for my car?

I was getting an error that I wasn't setting the sequence correctly. Then I got past that and it said it was in vallet mode. I tried to get it out of vallet mode and now it wont set correctly again. Is there any technical support or someone i can call?

Following on a question from Sep 13, 2019: Toyota Tacoma Evo one installed but will not start or blink after being programmed.

Fortin Support stated that the factory remote can be used to start the engine by pressing the lock button three times when the driver's door lock signal (ground signal with a relay) is connected to the center pin of the shock sensor using remote start firmware 0.82.

Does this still work? Is there a firmware version avaliable that can do this?

I am at step 5 of the Programming Procedure on a 2023 Corolla with key. I get through step 4 and the blue light will flash and then turn solid but when I start the car for step 5, the blue light stays on solid and the red light does not come on the install pretty easy and straight forward.

2013 Jeep Wrangler, Standard key (no OEM remote),Manual Trans, EVO-One-942 kit, THAR-CHR5, will not remote start after ready mode entered. I have followed install guide #63811.

After successfully entering ready mode and trying to remote start it will power the jeep up like itis trying to start it but nothing happens. After reading a few of the other question/answers it seems that a clutch bypass relay may need to be installed? I have found some information on wirecolor.com for the wiring of this. Does this relay connect back to the EVO-One somewhere? Installing a clutch bypass relay is not mentioned anywhere in the #63811 install guide. Perhaps you guys should include that in the guide.

Hello. I installed Evo-One on 2016 Kia K7 (on liquid gas...with start-stop).. I specified 2017 Kia Optima in the manager. The EMS wire was behind the passenger kick panel in the red connector on the bottom, second from the right. Behind the fuse, the ignition wire (ON) was pink...the ACC wire was white...the starter wire was yellow with a black stripe. The CAN wires were also located behind the fuses in a small connector... yellow and black... blue and orange. Everything worked well, but after opening the door, when I pressed the brake, the car stopped... When I pressed the start-stop button, the radio turned on, and the start-stop button also showed a yellow LED, but the car stopped when I pressed the brake.

I didn't use the ACC-2. It was blue, behind the fuses. The customer left satisfied, but I'm wondering what else can be added to prevent the car from stalling when the brake is applied?

If you could please send me the serial number of this Evo-One...I usually write down the numbers in a journal and now I forgot to write them down...

Hello, I have a EVO-ONE-441 and a THAR-MAZ3 t-harness for my Mazda CX5 2021 Signature. When I get to the part where I press the push to start twice without the brake pressed and try to get the ignition sequence it flashes the correct colors. However when I reconnect the module back to the updater the dcrypt option is still greyed out.

All wires seems to be correct from the install manual. Can is reading correct. The car will crank when remote started but nothing. I don't see any security lights on the dash when I attempt to remote start. the red light will flash about 4 times on a failed start. from my understanding its possbily not reading the tach? is theres a recommended setting im missing in pro/wizard? theres no decryption required for the Hyundai correct? and i just program the key on "red" press button 6 times press ignition 2x wait for flashing blue and turn ignition off. I have a 6MT I have updated everything to the most recent firmware. i just cannot seem to figure out the last part. I also have the car under Tech Data-Link. do i have to learn the idle of the car at all for it to stay running? my blue light on the evo one lte dosn't light up when holding brake and holding button to learn tach. 2024 Chevy 3500 Push Start Gas - Evo One with the harness. I installed the Evo One for 2 reasons, remote start (that is working with no issue) and for the lock/unlock pulse wires. I am trying to have the lock and unlock pulse wires operate a DEI 451M relay to be able to operate reverse polarity actuators that will be installed on the locking mechanism on the doors of the truck's service body. While testing, if I ground out the lock and unlock wires of the 451M, it will operate the actuators as desired so I know the 451M is working properly. When the lock and unlock wires are tied together between the 2 devices, nothing. TIA

Hi all, I recently installed an EVO-ONE on my 2003 Lexus Is300. For some reason when my car is locked and I hit the remote starter the vehicle starts but the security alarm starts to sound. On the opposite end when the vehicle is unlocked, no alarm goes and it still starts. Not a huge burden but might be tricky if someone else at home wants to use it. My remote starter remote does not unlock and lock the vehicle as well. Any help is appreciated. Serial Number is 002BO4707522.

I have installed the unit according to the guide above. It programs fine and the van will remote start. After a remote start the OEM remote will no longer function. I have read in some other posts that this could be caused by incorrect ignition 2 wiring. Currently I have ignition 2 connected to pin D3 should it be connected to D1? What does the "Cut" mean in the wiring diagram for those wires? Same question for the security light connection. Should it be connected to D4 or D6? We just unlock the driver door with the key and everything else works as it should but it would be cool if the OEM remote worked to unlock the doors.

I own a 2008 Mini Cooper S. I have already purchased the Fortin EVO-ONE-942 remote start kit.

However, when I took the vehicle to my mechanic for installation, he informed me that a Fortin INT-BMW2 module is also required to complete the setup. Could you please confirm if this is correct for my specific vehicle model?

If the INT-BMW2 is indeed necessary, could you please provide a link or instructions on where to purchase it? I was unable to find a direct purchasing link for this product on your website.

Additionally, if the total cost of all required components exceeds my budget, would I be eligible to return the Fortin EVO-ONE-942 kit I have already purchased?

I have an EVO-ONE module with the RFK912 kit that's working great. Installed in 2008 Ford Fusion 3.0L SEL

I want to program certain functions (ex function #38, so i can change the remote start sequence from 3x Lock to Lock Unlock Lock).

There is NO guide I've found that shows how to select the Mode (1 thru 6) with the RM912 one-button remote.

For the 4-button remote, you select the mode as follows:

MODE 1 - LOCK
MODE 2 - UNLOCK
MODE 3 - START (3 SECONDS)
MODE 4 - FUNCTION (3 SECONDS)
MODE 5 - FUNCTION LOCK
MODE 6 - FUNCTION UNLOCK

So my question is: Whiile function programming, how can I select the mode with the RM912 1-button remote?

NOTE: FlashLink Manager V4 does not show any options other than A1-A11, B1, C1, D2-D5, and D6. I'm using flashlink lite adapter. Only the BYPASS tab is visible.
