Evo Start 2 - Error the request returned an invalid code every time I try to use it

I've been using evo start 2, but It suddenly stopped working.

I tried starting, locking, and unlocking the car from the app, but nothing seems to work, and I always get the message "(Error: The request returned an invalid code)." However, I do receive notifications when I start the car remotely using the key fob.

My vehicle is a 2020 Mazda CX30. The app is up to date, and I even used the alternative app called Orbit, which offers the same functions, and it gives me the same error. I already updated the Evo Module to the latest version, but it still doesn't seem to work.

Même en sélectionnant " forgot password" ca me dit que le password temporaire was successfully sent mais je ne recois toujours rien dans mes courriels ( oui j'ai vérifié dans mes indésirables).

My remote start lock and unlock work fine on the app. I tried reinstalling the app several times with no success. Not sure if I am going to have to reflash my module. Not sure if it is caused by Android 16 causing software glitches or it's the app itself?

Depuis plusieurs semaines, je n'ai plus aucune réponse (que vraiment très rarement c'est ok) de mon evo start 2. L'auto reçois bien les commandes mais l'application ne recois pas les informations de retour que ce sois pour la réponse de retour de commande ou pour actualiser l'état. Ma conjointe elle n'a aucun problème. Désinstaller l'application et la réinstaller ne change rien. Je viens de changer ma batterie de l'auto car je la savais faible mais toujours rien. Il y a t'il un moyen de reset l'antenne evo start 2 ou le compte qui est peu être en problème?

I moved to Alberta from Ontario. I had an evos-tart 2 smart phone remote starter installed on my car when i bought it at the dealership in 2019. Ever since moving to Alberta, i was never able to start my car with my phone. I than noticed that there was no coverage for evo-start 2 in Alberta. Would it be possible to pair a remote/fob key to my evo-start 2?

J'ai un Toyota Avalon 2019 avec un evo start 2 et le démarreur fortin evo one. Le tout fonctionne bien. Je peu barré et débarré via l'application également. Mon problème est avec le Statut du véhicule dans l'application. La demande statut ne fonctionne pas souvent et les informations de température sont erronées. Par exemple, il fait -10 mais il indique 20 degré dans l'habitacle alors qu'il n'a pas fonctionné de la nuit et on ai le matin au réveil. Le voltage lui me semble plausible. Je sais qu'il y a une façon de réinitialisé l'antenne evo start 2 mais je ne me souviens plus de la fonction et de la bonne procédure. J'ai tout de même essayer de débrancher l'antenne, de rebrancher en maintenant le bouton sur l'antenne jusqu'à ce qu'elle clignote orange rapidement puis jai essayé chaqu'un des mode de clignote bleu 1 a 5. Il y a un mode que je crois que c'est pour vérifier le signal ignition. J'ai réussi a refaire fonctionné le démarreur en mode 2 flash bleu puis appuyez sur le bouton. Jai pas tenté de redémarrer le moteur mais les door lock fonctionne. Cependant maintenant j'ai 8 volt de batterie et -37 degré donc j'ai empiré ma situation car la même le voltage est erronée (batterie sur la charge et en santé).

Qu'elle est la procédure de réinitialisation factory reset de l'antenne evo start 2 que je puisse enfin avoir une bonne communication avec l'application et de bonne donné?

I just installed a evo all and evo start 2 on 17 navigator, I followed the 2015 guide since there was no 2016 and 2017 available everything works but the only issue right now is on the evo start 2 app I can remote start but the lock and unlock does not work is there anything i can do to fix that . thanks

Hello, I just have EVO START 2 installed on 2010 lincoln mkz. I can remotely controll the car from the app on ios. However, when I send commands, the first command will do lock,unlock,start, etc. other commands after the first one will not work. I have to close and reopen the app so it can work again.

I did master reset Evo-one on 2022 Toyota sedan push start and did key transfer Dcrypter when put 3 times lock my car start but when using Evostart2 app i get green light flashing then orange light come one but Evo-one not get signal car not start.

i just have a question do i need to program evo-one & evostart2 in the car together then return to PC do key transfer Dcrypter, because i did program only Evo-one in the car the return to PC do key transfer after that try 3 times lock it work then program Evostart2 after but doesn't work try do reset Evostar2 & reprogram again still doesn't work.

I have two vehicles that have this evo start 2 installed and worked well but I’ve noticed that recently nothing on the app itself connects to them. The remotes will start no problem. It’s just through the phone app

I recently bought Evo start 2 for my Evo one which I have been using for more than 2 years on my Mazda cx 3 2019 with T harness. At that time I did not choose the app start option while programming the Evo one. Can some please help me where should i be connecting the Yellow wire. Does it goes into the A1. Also none of the other options like door unlock are not working. Do I have to reprogram the Evo one again. I know that the firmware should be atleast 1.21. When i push start from the app the green light on the evo start 2 is turning on but nothing is happening.

I have followed the following steps and it was not working.

Ignition ON - OFF - ON (While holding the brake?)

Press and release brake 4 times

Press and hold the Evo start button until green

Turn OFF Ignition

Also do I connect the yellow wire to A1 or E5 onto the harness?

Installed Evo all with twvw1 harness and Evo start 2

yellow wire from Evo start 2 connected to purple/yelllow wire from Evo All (ign + out)

Evo start will say "Engine On" but the tach needle doesn't change, and then it says that the engine is off the next status request I send. But the car is running.

It will show that the voltage is 14+ and the temp rising in the car. But shows the engine off.

Avec l'application ou avec la clef (barre-débarre-barre) l'auto démarre 7 secondes et s'arrête et flash les lumières 3 fois. Il y a une 2e tentative et même résultat. Ça fait 3 ans que le démarreur fonctionne sans problème. Merci.

J'ai installé un evo one sur civic 2012 qui fonctionne bien avec le telecommande d'origine. Mais le evostar2 recoit le signal de l'application et le lumiere de l'antene tourne au vert et par la suite devient rouge . il semble avoir aucune communication entre le evo-one et le evo-start2? pourquoi?

I have an EVO All installed with T-Harness in a 2022 Rav4 Hybrid PTS. Everything worked fine till I installed and try to use EVO-START 2. I later noticed that I did not programm the EVO_START 2. I did it and since then it never worked and even the 3x lock remote start stop working.

I also tried to Master Reset. It seems to work while doing it on the module but when I connect the EVO ALL to FLashLink the module is stil programmed. Nothing was reset.

When I start the car, the middle Yellow LED turns on.

Hi, I have and Mazda3 2019 (with push start and presence key) and installed an Evo One + Thar-One-Maz5 + Evo Start2.

I've connected the auxiliary output on a relay to activate the windshield heater and rear window defog (in the mazda3 both are activated together with a ground signal). Its supposed to ground the yellow/black wire when the seat/driving wheel heaters are activated right?

I was not able to test it yet, my car stays in a heated garage and if i understood correctly the evo one uses the internal temperature sensed by the module to activate or not the seat and driving wheel heaters (and the auxiliary signal). So the car doesn't stay parked out for long enough to get so cold inside.

If i use the defrost button in the app, will it bypass the temperature control and activate the headers/auxiliary signal? If not, is it possible to change config to manually control those?

Hi, I have and Mazda3 2019 (with push start and presence key) and installed an Evo One + Thar-One-Maz5 + Evo Start2.

Everything works fine, except the lock status on the app is not correct - when I leave the car it auto-locks (because I'm taking the key with me), and if I check in the app it shows as unlocked. If i send a lock command, the command is sucessfull and the status changes to locked. Going back to the car, I'm able to unlock it by just touching the handle as usual.

I'm not sure if this info is useful, but during the setup I first forgot to connect the yellow wire between Evo Start2 and Evo One and paired both like this. When I noticed it was not working, I've checked all again, found the error, connected the yellow wire and paired again. The remote start by the app worked then, just left with the issue in the lock status.

Bonjour, j'ai installé un EVO-ONE-MAZ3 sur un Mazda3 2016 avec une antenne EVO-START-2. Lorsque j'essai de démarrer à distance, la led de l'antenne flash vert et ensuite 1 flash ambré. J'ai lu que c'est l'antenne qui n'est pas pairé avec le EVO-ONE. Sur le schéma d'installation il y a un data-link T-harness (optionel) pour l'installation. Est-ce pour cela que ca ne fontionne pas?

I just had Audi Downtown Toronto install the Evo-Start 2 kit in my 2021 Audi Q3. When I picked up the car, they demonstrated the remote starting capability using the key fob and pressing "unlock, lock, unlock". They told me to download the Evo-Start app to my phone and I could then use the app to start my car. I downloaded the app and set up my vehicle using the activation code in the starter kit. My car appears on the app's screen and when I press the engine start icon, it vibrates and makes a high pitched noise, but the lights on the car do not flash and the engine does not start. If I go to "History", it tells me the command was successful. The key fob still works to turn the car on and off remotely.

hi, installed a evo one with a evostart2 car start with 3x lock. installed evostart with rfa2a ignition wire ok have power on red wire and ground on black programmed evostart several time but still doesnt work made master reset and reprogrammed still same problem. perform validation step on page 15 of the guide ignition came on and door unlocked and ignition turned off. retried still no start with app.car start with 3x lock.im in the red coverage zone and my personal car which has evostart works fine.so coverage shouldnt be an issue except if its not the same between evostart and evostart2. evostart demand firmware 1.21 minimum i have 1.25 could it be the cause or maybe something else im pretty much lost at this time since every time i programmed i got the flashing blue then the green led. like it should tried programming with the switch and the brake pedal which seemed to have work but no luck.

C'est tu possible de programmer un demarrage avec evo start 2? Plusieurs client me le demande et je vois pas l'option

i am having issues with pairing the evo start with evo all any button i push on evo apps the green light on the anttena flashes then one amber light then nothing happen i reset the evo start to factory setting and reporogram it again still same problem the three times lock works fine .

I've installed the Evo-One with T Harness and works fine with the factory fob on my 2018 Mazda CX-5 PTS. Flashed the module to include the Evo-start 2 rf kit as well but whenever I try to program the Evo Start 2 antenna i'm unable to as the vehicle doesnt display any information nor start whenever the app is used.

When "Start Engine" is clicked from the app the antenna flashes green and then amber but the vehicle doesnt start. I tried reprogramming the antenna over and over as well as reflashing the module from scratch but yet nothing works.

I Just instaled the Evo-All and Evo-Start 2, the install was very straightforward, no problem using Decrypter. The car Locks, Unlocks and Starts via 3x LOCK on OEM Fob, and it starts from the App, however doors wont lock or unlock via App.

Does anyone have any troubleshooting steps I should try? The Evo-Start recieves the command but nothing happens on the car side.
