2020 Buick encore installation clarification

I have Purchased a Evo-GMT6 with THAR-GM6 harness for a 2020 Buick Encore push start and im looking for clarification.

1.On page 4(wiring diagram) of guide #77331, shows to make a connection between the light blue wire and light blue/black wire. Do these need to be spliced together? What is the reason for this?

2. Also, wondering what start/stop external control means?

3. Are the good hood pins/ valet switch required for the function of the module?

where is the wire for the start/stop switch on a 2011 ford escape?

On the 20 pin connector A13 it says to connect to the start/stop external control. What wire and where is it located on my 2011 Ford escape. Also all questions about the hood pin and valet switch say to hook them up to prevent starting when the hood is open. I understand the saftey but does it have to be hooked up for the remote start to function?

I would like to know how to make use of the advertised "Control the remote starter and alarm system using any external device with a negative output." feature.

The EVO-ALL is connected via a THAR-GM1v2 harness, the installation diagram doesn't show the wire to be used for the external trigger though ...

Please advise.

Evo all, installation guide for standalone remote start shows, Yellow/Black wire as external input. what does that mean? and do we need to connect 1k ohm resistor for parking light? which wire i can tap for parking (-), any place under the dash?

I also need to know if there is a +12V switched ignition supply, i need this to power up my rear view auto dimming mirror?

I am using the Thar-Char5 and evo-all with a 2013 Jeep Wrangler unlimited Sport. I installed system and it works fine but I did not connect A13 (External Input and A14 parking light out Brown/white. I just connected the ignition A1 yellow wire. Two things...Do I need to connect anything else? If so what? I know where the parking light wire is but I am not sure what to connect to the External Input A13. I used Connection C from the installation guide.
