2014 Ford Fusion HVAC doesn't turn on.

Hi there!

I have already installed an evo one in a 2014 ford fusion, but the HVAC does not work. When the car is started by remote, only the blower starts working but it does not heat up. The HVAC only heats up when you insert the key and turn it to ignition. I have been reading some articles related to this topic and it is that the 2013 and 2014 Ford Fusions need a reprogramming so that the HVAC works with the aftermarket remote starters. Here is the information and the vin number of the car. Can you help me with a solution? Thanks in advance.

I installed evo one remote starter on the 2011 ford fusion s, i hard wired all the wires, did not used t harness, but after installation, i was getting only cold air from the vents with starting from remote, i can change the blower speed. couldnt change the vent modes and the air temp.

if I start it with the key, heat blows only for couple minutes and it switch back to cold air it self, and has to restart the car to make it blow hot air for another couple minutes. any idea what could be wrong here,? any help will be appriciated,

I installed a EVO ALL on my 2009 Ford Fusion and it starts fine but i ran it for 25 minutes and it never times out. I also noticed that it doesn't shut off when i hit the brakes either. The only way i can get it to shut off by pressing the lock button 3 times again. SN:001a07333129

Installing Evo RS standalone with thar- for2 harness following guide 97281. Installed firmware 71.52 and set options using flash-link. All required wire connections completed and tested. While key bypass programming led glitch noted in step 6 (red led does not go off then back on). Step 7 works per guide. In step 8 blue led does not flash rapidly and red and yellow led do not alternate flash, only red flashes in one second interval. Module continues flashing red led indefinately. D-Criptor gives incomplete data error.

Hello. In manual # 96151, A1 wire is not connected. Without this, the module was not programmed. I connected it to the ignition switch (ON1). Leave it connected or take it off at the end? I installed standalone and the engine starts without opening the ignition. In the instrument panel it says that the battery in the key is discharged. I wonder if the engine is fully started? When the temperature rises, will the cooling fan turn on or not? I mean, there will be no need to apply + 12V to the ACC wire?

I have a LinkRLt1 and evo all on a Ford Fusion 2016 and was wondering can I use the auxiliaries to control the windows. With the factory key FOB if you hold unlock the windows go down, conversely if you hold lock the windows go up. So I was wondering can those auxiliaries be programmed to do that

Hi

when I program On my Ford Fusion 2013 standard key and reach the last part where blue light flashes and ignition turns on by itself, the issue there is that the blue light keeps flashing and ignition turns on and stays on. When I turn the ignition off manually by putting key in ignition and tries to start the car by pressing 3X lock, nothing happens. What could be the issue ? Help

I have installed the crime stopper remote start module in my 2009 Ford Fusion and that works fine as long as I leave my spare key in the ignition. My problem is that the Fortin module will not finish the programing( no blue flashing led) I have checked the rx and tx connections many times and they are good and i have checked the can HI and can LO connections many times and still can not get the fortin module to get the flashing blue led. I am clueless as to how to proceed. Any input would help a lot.

My car is a 2017 Ford Fusion push-to-start. I have a Fortin EVO-ALL to install with the THAR-FOR3 harness and then plan to hook up a MyCar smartphone controller which has a blue 4-pin female with the same colour wires (red, black, blue, white) as the T harness blue connector. Can I hook up the MyCar controller to the blue connector on the T-harness? Just wondering because the MyCar wiring diagram says to use the HRN-LLRS-01 cable which has the same colour wires. I will be using my OEM fobs for remote start (lock 3x). Also, do I need to use the 20 pin white and the 6 pin red connectors? I have no idea where those wires would connect to!

Evo-All Thar-For4 2010 Fusion Trunk release not working

I have installed an EVO-ALL with the THAR-FOR4 harness in a 2010 Fusion SE and everything is working great, except for the trunk release. It clearly states in the installation guide the trunk release as well as trunk status are supported via hardware 6 and firmware 7.46.

Can someone provide me with information on why this doesn't work? I upgraded from the THAR-FOR1 harness since the guide said the trunk release worked. Looks like it was a waste of money...

i purchased an EVO-FORT2, and was under the impression that it came preloaded with the correct software for a 2013 Ford Fusion. i used the evo-all with thar-for2 guide and it learned both keys but then says to hook up to a computer with the flash link updater. my unit alternates between the yellow and red lights

How can you search the settings on the eco-all I’ve trued searing the service number on your site and all it does it send me to my account page? Also does the eco unlock the remote start settings on a 2018 Ford Fusion as mine hasn’t pulled up on the menu I was hoping it would to adjust settings.

No Start 2012 Ford Fusion SEL

I purchased a Fortin EVO-ALL FORT4 for my wife's 2012 Ford Fusion SEL. I have tried programing the unit with 2 keys which did not appear to work. I am now using a single key along with the flashlink DCryptor software. Programing on the car side seems to complete as described in the directions. I have connected the unit to the PC via the flashlink and ran DCrytor sucessfully. When reinstalled on the car I press the lock button 3x and car does not start. The blue light on the unit blinks the first 2 time i press the lock button. The 3rd time the red light flashes 5 times and car does not start.

I have udated the firmware to 71.[47] and I have made sure D1 and D1.10 are both enabled. I have also tried enabling D2 to bypass factory alarm. When tested, the unit does not attempt to unlock the car before starting. I still end up with the red light flashing 5 times

Here is a list of the settings I am using. Please advise how to proceed. Thanks

A1 - A11 = ON
A12 - B3 = OFF
C1 = ON
D1 = ON (D1.6 & D1.10 ON all other D1 options are OFF)
D2 = ON
D3 - H6 = OFF

EDIT:

After going back over the instructions i turned off A5 and D2. Directions also stated that 5 blinks of the red light meant that the hood was open. The hoodpin wire was grounded out. Corrected the problem and now the car starts after 3x lock

I've purchased an Evo about a year ago, installed everything and could never get it to work. It would set off the alarm instead of starting. Unfortunately, I had to return it. I would like to try again but I cannot get a clear answer. Is the system even compatible with a 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid? There is no mention of the Hybrid on the site, just the standard. I would like to get a clear answer and purchase it again if I find out it should for sure work.

Building further onto my previous question:

I have completed the EVO programming with the dcryptor and it says it successfully programs. I am using the latest firmware and software. When I plug the EVO back into the vehicle and prss the lock button x3 it will not start the vehicle. I can see on the EVO the blue lights flash when I hit the lock buttons, but that is all it does. I have the options set in the module for 3x lock to start it. I made sure the CANBUS wires were making contact and tight. I tried to reprogam again last evening and still not starting.

Any thoughts on how to get this to remote start my 2012 Fusion?

Correct Options for Evo-One Standalone Remote Start - 2008 Ford Fusion

I have installed an EVO-ONE into a 2008 Ford Fusion. This is NOT a T-harness install, as no T-Harness is available for this model. Connections include Yellow A1 to Pink E5, which in turn is connected to the ignition wire at the key cylinder block; Lt. Blue / Black A10 and Lt. Blue A20 to PATS RX and TX, respectively, at the PATS ring block; Green/White A17 and Green/Red A18 to the respective ends of the LF door trigger pin circuit; Orange E2 to the Accessory wire at the key cylinder block; Yellow E6 to the start wire at the key cylinder block; and E3 and E4 to 12V constant live and ground connections, respectively. Gray/Black C4 is connected to CAN LOW at the OBDII connector, and Gray C3 is connected to CAN HIGH at the OBDII connector. I have double-checked all wiring and confirmed correct connections throughout.

I flashed the EVO-ONE bypass side to Firmware 71.[18], and have set function 31 to option 4. Upon initial post-installation test, I set the LED on the face of the EVO-ONE to "Blue," and got the quick flash when turning the ignition key. Holding the key to the PATS ring and remote-starting the vehicle, it started for a second and then shut off.

I have not had any success in performing the two-key programming procedure. The LED remains red, and I do not get the expected LED changes when inserting the first and second keys as directed.

I'm assuming I have a configuration issue of some sort, and I'm hoping someone can offer some insight. I have loaded the "suggested settings" in Flash Manager and have saved those to the EVO-ONE, but am stuck at getting the vehicle to remain started during the initial test.

I am programming the Fortin EVO-ALL and using the Flashk link dcryptor because I only have a single key. When I get to the last step where I am to wait for the flashing blue lights to turn off the key, my unit flashes blue rapidly and then alternates red/ yellow with the key still on befor I turn off the key. I took the EVO back in to the flash link and plugged it in to run the dcryptor. Tried the dcryptor both Monday and Tuesday. It ran for over an hour and never completed the decription process. What could be wrong?

I have the EVO-ALL installed with a T-Harness in my 2011 Ford Fusion. This install has been working since I installed it in January of 2014. The EVO has been flashed to allow for trunk release control. However, I have never succeeded in actually getting the trunk pop to work, either on my RF kit or, more recently, via the Crimestopper Teleconnect. I'm assuming this is accomplished via CAN BUS control. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have hooked up all connections except for driver door pin because I can't seem to find the correct wire. When I hold the program button and plug in the black 4 pin connector to start programming, nothing happens. No lights come on or anything. When I plug it back in to the Flashlink it comes on and shows the info. Am I missing something? I have my only vehicle dissasembled and really need to get this done. PLEASE HELP

Update: I checked the red and black wires on the black 4 pin plug and there is 12.5 volts at the connection. Is this a bad unit?

Update part 2: I flashed with an older version of firmware and then reflashed back to current/recommended firmware and it finally cooperated! Up and running. I do have one final question though, I did not hook up the left door pin wires because I couldn't find the correct one to use. What functions will I not have because of this? I have noticed that the car will only turn off if I press the brake. Any ideas?? Sory for the long post, just trying to do it right. Thanks!

Hi I am currently flashing my EVO-ALL for my 2012 Ford Fusion SEL (for stand alone remote start) and it says to disable A5 to prevent ignition from turning on when doors are unlocked. Should I also disable A6? My car will roll down the front windows and open the moon roof when you press and hold the unlock button on the factory remote. Will disabling A5 and/or A6 also disable that capability? Just trying to keep from having to uninstall and reprogram the unit if I set it incorrectly. Thanks for any help or advice you can give!

I have several questions regarding the Fortin EVO-FORT1:

Is the Fortin EVO-FORT1 compatible with 2012 Ford Fusion HYBRID? I ask because I don't see the Hybrid option listed for 2012 on the Fortin web site product selection lists.
CAN High/Low Taps -- Can these connections be made with T-Taps or must they only be wrapped and taped or soldered?
Driver Door Pin -- Is is pin 9 as listed in the install guide or 14 as listed in another quesion asked in this forum?
Parking Light -- Is this connection required? If so, can the incoming 12V to relay pins 86 and 87 be fused at 10A rather than from relay pin 30 to the parking light wire?
Options -- I have the following options enabled. Are they correct/am I missing anything?
- A1-A11 enabled EXCEPT A5 as listed in the installation guide
- B1 enabled
- C1 enabled
- D1+D1.6 enabled
- D4 enabled
- D5 enabled

Does the power and ground plug have to be connected on the revo-4 unit to get the extended range the remotes work great but I get no range my understanding was if it gets power from the evo it didn't need it's own power, was I wrong??

Just received a EVO-FOR.T1 for a 2010 Ford Fusion (automatic, key start). Have installed remotes before. Saw a You-tube video that showed installation of the four plugs on the ignition module and only 2 additional ones for Can-High and Can-Low on teh ODB-II socket. The instructions via the Fortin site (Addendum-Suggested wiring harness configuration - Guide 32161 Ver 20150428 was difficult to follow. I then registered and downloaded the Wire Color instructions (Addendum-Suggested wiring harness configuration - Guide 32221 Ver 20150428) which showed 5 additional wired connections (including a hood contact pin that wasn't part of the kit) and a need to cut a loop for automatic transmission (which wasn't on my Fortin module. It seems the module in the instructions is a EVO-ONE whereas I was supplied with a EVO-ALL.

So far, I followed the You-Tube showing the four connectors with the ignition module, and the Can-High and Can-Low. Although the You-Tube showed a successful programming cycle, mine did not turn on the ignition at the final step.

Do I need additional wiring? Do you have any clearer installation material for the unit I purchased? If not, how do I learn what I need to complete this installation.

I cant remote start the vehicle.
When I push 3x the lock button on the vehicle remote, nothing happen.
I double checked the wires, and all 7 was soldered. I can sent you pictures of the connection that I made.
The programming was made successfully as well. When I plug the six pin cable, the LEDs alternate from blue yellow red and when I release the programming button, the blue LED stay still. Then I connect the others cables and turn the ignition to ON position (without start the engine) so the leds start to flash quickly on red then quickly on blue. That's all.
My vehicle is a Ford Fusion 2014/2015 SE 2.0 with normal start.

I update my evo all to 71.11 recommended by program and use connection 2 in guide but I'm not able to program for manual transmission because after I put the 12 volts at the ignition 1 wire the led stay red and never flash 10 x. I'm able to program with program 6 (one key) easily but the module doesn't manage hood status, brake status, hand brake status and trunk opening but the car start well with car remote and doors work fine.

Well is it normal for the evo not to turn on the ready to drive light on a fusion hybrid??

The dash lights up basically like with key in the ignition but the check engine light comes on and stays during the entire remote start sequence!! Never seems to go into full on?? During and I've already ran it through at least complete remote start cycles and still won't start engine!! Otherwise seems to be working fine!! The temperature here is around 40 degrees Fahrenheit today!! Again the ready to drive light doesn't come on at all during remote start!! This after 4 or 5 complete remote cycles!!

Hello am working on a 2012 ford fusion evo all with t harness. Stand alone mode. as soon as i plug up the red relay harness the ignition comes on and it tries to start?? i have checked all connections twice and i am sure it is correct.

I can only plug up the 4 pin data plug for power and the internal relay clicks and engages. that does not seem normal to me as the relay is always on?? the ignition is always on and will not power down, all wires are correct.

i got this unit off amazon, and was told it was all just plug and play if I wanted to use stand alone remote starter with factory fobs. I installed it today went through programming and after the first programming steps for the bypass it was solid yellow. I have the Evo-All Standalone installed in my 2011 Ford Fusion. I have also installed the Crimestopper REVO-4 extended range antenna, which comes with a four-channel remote of its own (lock / unlock / trunkpop / start).

The question is this -- can I disable the remote start functionality from the OEM remote (the three-lock press), while retaining the standalone remote start functionality? What I'm trying to accomplish is to use only the Crimestopper remote to start the car. Thanks!

Looking at the installation instructions for my 2011 Fusion I can use either stand alone or not. I see either choice can add an additional remote starter. I'm going to add a one button remote starter. I'm going to use my key fob to lock and unlock the doors. Which is the best way to do the installation?

I see when flashing the EVO ALL that on firmware 71.14 it says added 2013 Fusion regular key. Is this in the near future something is coming out? I look it up online and it says no solution. Is there instructions I can try on a car at one of the dealers I do work for?

Will there be a stand alone firmware for this car?

I know due to the 128-bit key encription, there isn't yet available a transponder bypass module for this car. However, for the PTS cars, is there still software avaiable for the CAN that will control everything I need and just use an additional key for transponder bypass? (alarm, simulated brake press, etc) Or is it not that simple. Seems I could do this with the regular key just fine, but not sure about the PTS. Thanks.

Hello,

I am installing an EVO-ALL in a 2012 ford fusion and using it as the standalone remote starter.   When I go through the first section of the programming I hold the button until the blue light is lit and turn the key on. Everything looks good and the blue light starts flashing. then after a couple of seconds the blue light goes out and the yellow light turns on.   At this point I try to do the remote start with the key in the ignition and it appears it is trying (dash lights come on, etc), but the car never tries to start.

Any advise of things to try?   I have the module programmed with the current recommended firmware for the 2012 ford fusion, and I have also tried the beta firmware as well as an older firmware and still get the same results..
