I'm having identical problems with HondaSL3 on two different vehicles

I'm working with a 2003 Pilot and a 2013 CRV. In both vehicles the programming seems to complete normally, but the remote starts behave as if the bypass was not working. We checked all wiring - everything is correct (we do 100's of SL3's) no t-taps. Both vehicles crank, run for a second, then shut down. On the Pilot, the security light comes on after the failed start attempts.

Any suggestions?
