Evo-NIST1 - My Infiniti QX70 2016 only starts with the lock on; unlocking it only locks it.

I thought the remote start was wired incorrectly until I changed the remote start sequence to lock, unlock, lock. After that, the car starts, but to my surprise, I can't unlock the doors when the car is running, and when I try to open a door with the physical key, the car shuts off. If I change the configuration to just 3x lock, nothing happens. Is something wrong with my module?

The serial number is: 001A07 792871

Can someone tell me the correct options to select? Thanks

On step 7, brake pedal press turns on blue and red led, shortly after, red led does not stay on and turns off, only blue led stays on, unable to continue on to step 8.

hello. did install evo-nist 1 on my 2011 infiniti qx 56 with t-harness. cannot to past step 6. when press brake pedal , yellow light still solid. reset already programmer and flush it -still nothing. with inteligent key and no battery still can start the vehicle. if i skip 6 and 7 it will follow instruction but no start. on dash have a light for imobilazer or security.

Have the wire colors or positions changed from 2020 to now on the install sheets?

I have an Evo-All dated 10/2020 (sold as an Evo-Nist1). It was never installed and I am preparing to install it into a 2013 Infiniti G37. I would like to know if the wires or colors have changed in the installation instructions since then. If they have, is there a way to get a copy of the older instructions?

Cannot lock/unlock doors from RFK441

Hi, I installed an Evo All with NIST1 to an Infiniti G35 2007 with PTS and an RFK441 kit. The car will remote start with the RFK441 remote, but I cannot get it to unlock or lock the doors. Any ideas what is going on or what I could check? I can see the lights on the Evo and RF Antenna light up when I press the lock and unlock buttons, and the Parker lights also light up as well. S/N of Evo: 001A07391493

I am preparing to do a remote start installation on a 2018 Infiniti Q60 (3.0L). The remote start module (with T-Harness) will be paired with the RFK-942 RF kit. I've installed the EVO-ALL on a 2016 Q50 and a 2017 Q60 (both 3.0L, both with T-Harness and both with RFK-942) and they are functioning well. My question to you is what would be the benefit of choosing the EVO-ONE over the EVO-ALL? For example, would I gain any additional functions (such as, trunk release via RFK-942 remote, parking lights control, etc.) if I went with the EVO-ONE instead of the EVO-ALL?

just installed and programmed fortin evo all (with NIST harness) on my 2015 infiniti q40 last night.

ignition came on but no crank. i made a short video showing the fortin and the dash.

Vehicle starting but messing but

I have a 2014 Infiniti Q50, bought the EVO ALL with the thar-nist4 t harness. installed everything and programmed the module and the vehicle started. going inside the car, tried to press the push to start button and no response whatsoever. pressed the key 3x lock to shut the engine off and it turn off all the electricals but engine stayed on with no control at all. unplugged the module from the wires and vehicle turned off instantly and gained all access to vehicle again. Is there something I am doing wrong or is my EVO-ALL module defected? please help...

The 2007 M35x fob does not have the autostart feature nor autostart button on the fob... so the quesiton is, can the OEM fob essentially be "upgraded" with the EVO unit?

Q40 Parking lights turn on intermittently on remote start

I have the EVO-ALL with the T-harness installed on my Infiniti Q40 and G37S Coupe. The options are set identically. On the G37, when I remote start, my parking lights always turn on when I remote start the car. This is not always true on my Q40. More times than not, the parking lights do not come on at all. Option A14 is currently off on both vehicles. I tried turning this option on on the Q40 but there is no change on how (when) it works. The only real difference between the two is the type of RF kit I have installed. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Lights come on every time I remote start the car in the garage. Not when I start it outside the garage and it's sunny and bright. Lights switch is set to off for each of the tests.

Can anyone help with this? Updated the evo-all with flashlink, installed harness. Was told by seller that I needed only splice extra wires into door trigger wire and one wire on the push to start button which I did.

Followed the programming sequence, took unit out, ran DCryptor which reported back success. Installed unit back in the car , closed doors, press 3x lock an no start. The brake lights come on but the car never turns over. What could be wrong? I keep seeing people saying they tweaked some settings, I don't recall seeing any special settings that I needed to tweak.

2016 Infiniti QX70 EVO-NIST1 Stand-Alone Add-On Remote Start -Brake Problem

2016 Infinit QX70 EVO-NIST1 Stand-Alone Add-On Remote Start is the Vehicle and Product that is being installed (with harness - not hard wired)

I have confirmed the EVO ALL is configured and programed for the vehicle - no RF controller, stand alone, factory remote (push lock, unlock, lock to start).

I installed the fortin harness and hooked up the PST wire, the park light interface wire, and the vallet switch. I am using the install instructions; Guide #90131

I have successfully programed the unit to the vehicle; yet the problem is the engine will not start.

When I attempt a remote start cycle, the parking lights activate, the radio headunit turns on, the PST engages to ACC, and then the gauge cluster appears on the dash (digital), and then the PST engages to Start (ignition).

But then the vehicle does not start.

If I attempt a remote start in the car while pressing the brake pedal; the system activates.

The brake lights currently function - yet during the remote start cycle, the Fortun system is NOT activating the brake lights during the start up cycle. This appears to be the failure point.

I have checked the connections from the Fortin Product to the brake light switch. I have tried to reset the connection and it is secure. There is no way of reserving the connections.

And per the self help instructions I have not hooked up any other unnessacry Fortin connections.

I am using the RL2 connector to the EVO ALL unit.

I have also confirmed the the vallet switch installed (dark blue) is not grounded or closed during the remote start cycle.

I have read a post where a 2016 Juke had a similar problem where the wires coming from the Fortin Harness were reversed to the factory brake light switch.

Can someone confirm my theory that the problem is the EVO ALL unit is not sending the brake signal during the remote start cycle to the corresponding brake light factory harness? Is it the case where the Fortin plug which connects to the factory brake light swith is missed wired?

I have spent a total of 6 hours of my last two weekends confirming connections, voltage, updating the software versions, and programing the unit but I am stuck at this failure point.

Any kind words or assistance would be helpful.

hello, I just installed an evo all in an infiniti m35x 2006, I have made all the corresponding connections but at the time of programming I find a problem, the instructions say that at the moment the blue light of the evo there is set flashing (last step) press the start button to turn off the vehicle and at that moment the blue light should turn off, but the problem is that it turns off but immediately the yellow and red light start to flash intermittently without stopping and so the evo remains all alone until I completely disconnect, what can I do, i checked the cam hight the cam low and the other connections and I notice all of them well.

Standalone installation with T harness. I follow the steps exactly as they are written. Step 6 says hold key by start button and step on brake. Step 7 is the exact same process, but the BLUE and RED LEDs should illuminate. The RED illuminates briefly before turning off, and only the blue remains. The rest of the process does not work and the BLUE LED stays solid.

In addition to this, the security/Immobilizer light on my dash is on solid when the car is running. Please, can anyone offer assistance?

Has my immobilizer been damaged/reset?

I have an EVO-ALL and EVO-NIST1 T-harness. I integrated the harness into my car with all necessary t-connections and soldered connections in place. When I attempted to follow the programming procedure, at step 7, I was only getting a solid blue LED. I re-attempted the procedure, same result. I started the car afterwards (with EVO-ALL disconnected), and my security light is now on solid red, indicating an immobilizer malfunction. I have tried leaving the battery disconnected (for at least 15 minutes), I left the car sit overnight (battery connected, another user here had a similar issue and it resolved itself overnight), and the light is still on when the car is started. If I pull the battery from either of my keys and attempt to start it by holding it near the start button, the car will give a "NO KEY" message.

What went wrong and how can I fix it? Currently I'm concerned that the device caused permanent damage to my car.

Installed the unit, was simple however for some reason after I start the car with the remote, I unlock with the remote, press the brake to put it into gear and it shuts off, I have to then restart the car. Im not trying to kill the starter, anyone have any advise?

07 Infiniti G35 Push to start. OMEVOALL unit Fortin - EVO-NIST1 T harness. Installed and programmed no problem.

Remote start only works when someone presses on the brake pedal (Otherwise it just turn on the radio, gauges for a few seconds then off) I tried using both the RL-1 and RL-2 harness neither works.

I bought preprogrammed unit. I dont know if there's a problem with the programming or i have a loose wire somewhere. At no point will my unit activate the brake lights.

Which wire is supposed to simulate the brake being pressed? I can run another wire if I need to but I think something might be wrong with my unit. Thanks!!

Hello all. I have a 2005 Infiniti G35 (automatic; not intellikey, not push start) and I just installed a Fortin EVO-ONE with the NIS2 T-Harness and a Compustar Slice Remote. I can lock, unlock, release the trunk, and remote start/stop the car. My problem is that the OEM Alarm doesn't seem to turn on when I lock the car. The alarm no longer activates when the car is manually unlocked from inside and opened. Regarding connected wires:

A8 (Dk. Blue) (- GRW) is not connected to anything
A15 (Pink/Black) (- Hood pin) is not connected to anything
D6 (White/Red) (Security light) is not connected to anything
D4 (White/Green) (Security light) is not connected to anything
Lt. Blue on the T-Harness isn't connected to anything
Lt. Blue/Black on the T-Harness isn't connected to anything
I cut the security light wire in the g35 (identified via wirecolor diagrams). The wires aren't connected to anything.

Is there anything I'm missing or do I have to turn on a specific setting via Flashlink Updater 2 (which I have)?

2008 g35x no longer needs OEM keyfob?

I just installed the EVO-NIST1 standalone with the Fortin RF642W RF Kit on a 2008 Infiniti G35x according to Guide 24031 and have a couple comments & questions after playing around with it:

1) LOCK x3 works with the OEM fob, however it cannot remote stop the car with LOCK x3 again. This is known, so it is not a problem.

2) After remote starting the car and unlocking it (either with door button or with either of the fobs), I can open the door, step on the brake, and I am able drive away. That works as intended, but the problem is I can drive away without having the OEM key fob around. The instrument cluster screen does not say NO KEY like it normally would if the key has left the car. In other words, one would be able to drive off without having any remote on them as long as the car gets remote started followed by an UNLOCK signal. Are remote starts intended to bypass the need to have the OEM Intelligent keyfob for the take-over?

3) While the engine is off, the LOCK signal from either the RF fob or OEM fob will lock the doors and prompt the RF antenna's LED to start flashing (blue) and will not stop unless I press the UNLOCK botton on either remote. What is this flashing for? Can this be disabled? I do not need or want any alarms or extra security features. I am more concerned about it draining the car battery. Please advise.

4) After remote starting, the first press of UNLOCK with the RF fob ONLY turns off the Antenna's flashing. I have to press unlock a second time to unlock the car, however it would unlock all four doors at once. I had configured it through Flash Link (B1 on) to unlock driver door on first press, and lock all on second press but that isn't the case. What exactly happens on the first UNLOCK that stops the antenna's LED flashes? Can I get the unlock button to unlock the doors on first press?

5) How does IDLE mode pertain to push-to-starts where the key does not need to be in the ignition? I'm guessing it is not needed but just want to be sure.

6) I had to use the RL2 connector to get remote starter to work, although the guide says RL1 for G35. This might be the issue with folks who cannot get their '07 - '08's to remote start.

Evo All Lock/Unlock/Trunk rapidly flashing all lights when pressed on 2005 G35

I have my EVO ALL installed alongside a Crimestopper RS7 remote start kit, and for some reason, whenever I press the lock, unlock or trunk release button, and my lights are on, it will not flash the parking lights, but instead, it will flash my Xenon headlights, fog lights, and whatever else is turned on rapidly for about 2 seconds. I don't have my parking lights physically wired up, so this is being done entirely through CAN.

I'm just wondering if this is a bug, or if there is a way to disable flashing the lights, or if anyone knows anything else!

**Something worth noting is that I have the Canadian version of this car, with Auto headlights and daytime running lights. This might be the cause of the problem, but I don't know how to fix it.

I am using Evo all stand alone with rf642w and one day i noticed the module start lock all doors after 1 min (no matter how you change the settings by flash link adapter)and shut engine off right after 15 min (no matter if this function off by flash link)even if you driving, and stop on traffic light if that moment at the same time when 15 min gone the engine turn off

Installed the EVO-NIST1 on a 2008 Infiniti G35 Sedan and the car will not remote start with factory remote pressing the lock 3x. I programmed C1 and D1 options to be on. I am using this is a standalone. I sucessfully programmed the unit as per the PDF. When I press lock I see the blue LED flash on the EVO-ALL. I made all the neccessary connections except I did not connect the hood pin and door lock/unlock as they are said to be optional. Everything seems to be set up correctly. Why won't the car remote start? Another question is there a difference between the intelligent key and the push to start? I have an intelligent key and the push to start feature in my vehicle so when they have a buying option for both this is very confusing. I have tried programming the EVO-ALL for both with the same results.

I have a 2008 infiniti g35, and i recently remove my old compustar cm4000 car starter and alarm and now i am using a Fortin EVO all with compustar 6000. Everything is running great except on a few items i need help with. (I did not use the T-harness for this vehicle)

1. when the vehicle is running i cannot use my compustar remote to lock or unlock the vehicle. when i press the lock or unlock the compustar remote show that the vehicle is lock or unlock but vehicle door lock does not move. But when i used the infiniti remote i can lock or unlock door while the vehicle is running. How can i use fix this issue with my compustar remote.

2. what do i need to do to use my trunk release button on my compustar remote. when i hold down my irunk button on the infiniti remote, the trunk will pop open. But when i use my compustar remote nothing happen.

3. what do i need to do have the front and rear light flash when i lock and unlock the vehicle. on my old system whenever i lock or unlock my front and back light flashes.

4. what do i need to do have the rear light turn on when the car starter is engaged? my front light turn on but now rear light is off?

As far as i can see from the directions there is only 3 terminations other than the T harness. Am I reading this right? I want to retain all other fetures of the factory alarm systems and use my existing key fob and just use this as a remote start.

In the instructions it says to Turn the RF Kit ON in the flash link manager. I dont have one. I plan on using the OEM fob and range. Do I leave this feature OFF?

Also there are a few spots on the BCM that are empty (according to the schimatic) what do i use to insert the wire into an empty pin in the harnes. Do the wires come with anything on it like a female adapter or do i have to crimp on on and insert it into the harness. If so where do i get them?
