I have purchased the EVO-ONE kit along with the T-Harness and Flash Link tool, and I'm planning to install it in a 2026 Toyota Camry Hybrid.

While reviewing the installation manual, I have a few questions I'd like to confirm before proceeding:

Cutting the (-)IMI wire: The diagram indicates that the (-)IMI line needs to be cut during installation. Could you please explain why this step is necessary? Is there an alternative method to complete the installation without cutting this wire?
54-pin connector: Could you clarify the purpose of the 54-pin connector shown in the diagram (labeled as the black connector behind the driver's kick panel)?
ECU behind glove box: Could you also confirm what this ECU (referenced behind the glove box in the diagram) is used for in this installation?

I want to make sure I fully understand each step before starting the installation. Thank you for your help — I look forward to your response.

I used the evo-one on an ‘07 Camry with the standard key with a dot and it worked without buying an additional RF kit. I just enabled C1 programming option.

I am installing an EVO-ONE with TB-X and R-LINK2 on a Mazda 3 Hatchback 2025 2.5 Turbo (Push-to-Start).

Current firmware:

EVO-ONE: 94.07x (latest available)
TB-X: 2.02 (latest available)

Installation status:

BCM connections completed according to the guide.
OBD connections completed according to the guide.
Passenger side connector connections completed according to the guide.
TB-X connected.
EVO-ONE programmed successfully.
TB-X updated successfully.
Key learning procedure completed successfully using the R-LINK2 and the OEM key with the battery removed, following the installation guide.

Symptoms:

When I press LOCK-LOCK-LOCK from outside the vehicle, the EVO-ONE responds.
Exterior lights turn on.
The instrument cluster wakes up and the gauges move.
The message “Key Not Detected” appears on the dashboard.
The engine does not crank/start.
After a few seconds, the OEM alarm is triggered.

Additional information:

If I am sitting inside the vehicle with the OEM key present, LOCK-LOCK-LOCK will start the vehicle successfully.
If I am outside the vehicle, remote start always fails with the “Key Not Detected” message.
This suggests that the vehicle is recognizing the physical key but the bypass function is not being accepted during remote start.

Could you please advise:

Is there any known issue with Mazda 3 2025 Push-to-Start vehicles and firmware 94.07x / TB-X 2.02?
Is an additional DCRYPTOR or TB-X programming step required?
Should OEM Remote Control (Lock-Lock-Lock) work on this vehicle without an RF kit?
Is there a diagnostic procedure to verify that the TB-X is successfully transmitting the virtual key during remote start?

Purchased fortin kit evo chrt7 for a 2023 ram 1500 classic with tip key start. No instructions came with it in box. There are 2 harnesses a t harness and obd2 harness . looked thru the qustion section on this site but no instructions for a 2023 ram 1500 classic or how to connect the obd2 harness for true plug and play, no having to tap in original wireing like in the kit description. Can you please confirm the correct Remote Start & Interface Kit w/ T-Harness for this vehicle? I purchased the Fortin EVO-CHRT4 All in One Remote Start & Interface Kit w/ T-Harness + FLASH-LINK Updater Bundle - Plug & Play Solution for Select Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep & VW Vehicles based on what I understood was the correct kit for this truck. After further research, I would like to confirm that this kit was correct for this application.

I would also like to confirm that purchasing the Fortin RFK942 2-Way RF Kit 4-Button Remote will provide everything required to have the long range remotes fully functional.

I also expected that this kit would be plug & play, with it being unnecessary to tie into the vehicle harness outside of connecting connectors. Is this correct?

Remote start not working on evo one with THAR-ONE-HON5 T harness and 942rf kit

I initially was able to successfully connect my EVO one to my 2009 honda accord with the HON5 T harness. The OEM key fob worked fine starting the car (I programmed it to lock, unlock, and lock), then I went to install and pair the 942 RF kit. After pairing the 2 remotes, it was able to lock and unlock the car just fine, but when I pressed the (+) button twice to check the status of the car, it gave me the wrong status beeps (it was telling me the car was unlocked when it was actually locked). Next I tried remote starting from the 942 remotes and it wouldn't start, it would give me the green confirmation saying that it started, and then later beep/flash red that it failed to start 3 seconds later. Then i tried using the OEM fob to start (which previously worked) but didn't work as well.

Both the module and antenna are up to date. I tried fixing it by reflashing the evo one with the same settings I used in the beginning, and reconnected it to the car. I made sure all the connections were intact (including ground), and even tried reprogramming the module to the car, which seemed to be successful according to the light sequences outlined in the installation guide. Still not working after this. I also tried the master reset (https://12voltdoesit.com/uploads/docs/Fortin/EVO-ONEMasterReset.pdf - *I used the bypass side*), which didn't do anything. I removed all the connections for now while trying to resolve the issue.

Installed the EVO-ALL & RFK942 combination remote starter on a 2015 Audi A6 C7 model.

Using the RFK942, I was able to remotely start the vehicle. However, about 20 seconds after the engine started, an error message appeared.

After that, I could no longer use the RFK942 to stop the engine.

It is possible to stop the engine by getting into the vehicle and using the start/stop button.

What could be causing this issue?

Is the EVO-ALL configuration incorrect?

I would appreciate any solutions.

Please write a complete list of what is needed for self-connection, programming and setting up remote engine start from OEM key fob using Evo-All VWT1 unit on AUDI S3 8V 2015 with start button?

I can't understand whether I need only R-link or only TB-VW or do I need both of these units, and what is needed to program the immobilizer bypass so as not to leave the key in the car?

And do I need a transponder?

So that I can order everything at once and not have to order the missing parts to Ukraine again and only then figure out how to install it using the instructions :)

I had a 2025 CX-50 in the garage a few weeks back, pulled the install procedure available for the CX-50 which seemed valid for 23-24 model years. I confirmed the BCM connectors on the 2025 do not match the 23-24 so I'm assuming Mazda made changes. Is there a plan to release a T-Harness and install procedure for a 2025 Mazda CX-50 in the near future? My preference would be to use the EVO-ONE with T-Harness and an RF Kit.

My Evo One will not flash during the flash link process

My Evo one is not flashing (doesnt even say I reached my flash limit, it just refuses to flash) when I choose my setting and my car specifics during the flashlink manager process (before decryption ofc). Not too sure if it needs another reset, as the last one I asked for didnt fully reset, my car settings were still shown. Any help is appreciated at this point, thank you. SN: 002B04 267246.

I don't understand how people are installing these units, I can't find any way for the wiring to reach the passenger side kick panel. The wires are at least 1 foot too short on the 20 pin connector so is there a trick to the install or do I need to buy an extension? I was hoping to not splice in sections of wire but I will if I have too.
purchased the EVO-FORT1 standalone with THAR-FOR1

Wires that are too short are A17-19 on the 20 pin connector "A"

I have a 2017 Spark key.

I connected the Wire to Wire as per the instructions.

When I press the key 3 times lock the switch will open but don't start and the light flashed 3 times red.

When running the engine and shutdown by using the key and pull out then i press the lock 3 times the vehicle runing! and i can put the key in and drive, but if I press the brake the engine stop and I cannot start again from the remote (If i try the switch will open but will not try to start) I must use the key again to start and stop the engine and pull out to I can start again by using the lock button with someone below firmware version!.

Sometimes the engine starts and stop immediately.

I tried firmware version 70.46 & 70.41 & 70.42 & 70.43 & 70.44

2017 Forester X, key start, new EVO-One, installed per Guide #97491w/THAR-ONE-SUB1 t-harness, all connections made per pin location, not wire color. When I reach Step 5 on the DCryptor programming and start the car, I get red/blue on solid and they stay on even after the car is shut off, until I pull the 6-pin. Car starts normally with the key if the EVO-One is connected, will not start with the red plug disconnected, which I believe is correct. I've reset and reprogrammed the module twice with the same result.

Update after reading multiple other recommendations about getting to solid red and blue at step 5: 1. Instructions say to use Firmware 84.11 (minimum), I have 84.12 and .11 is not available. 2. I checked continuity from pin 10 (light blue) of the 20 pin connector (IMO signal) to pin D1 (Yellow/green) IMO body side and have continuity. Car starts and immediately quits with red "D" connector unplugged, starts and runs normally with it plugged in. 3. Have battery voltage at E1 (white) and E5 (pink) with ignition on, no power with ignition off. Module SN:002B04 656833.

2015 Kia Sorento Standard Key T-Harness Evo-One Step 4 Solid Amber Light

Installing a Evo-One in a 2015 Kia Sorento with T-Harness and standard key. Completed wiring. Spliced yellow A1 into pink ignition wire in T-Harness. Cut white wire in T-Harness. I have flashed the Evo-One with the lastest firmware in both remote start connection and bypass mode. In FlashLink Manager for desktop Pro Mode, I set the mode to OEM Lock-Unlock-Lock on 38.4(?). I am using an OEM key. That is the only option I configured.

With the key out, I plug in the 6 wire harness while holding the programming button. Lights flash red->blue->red & blue->yellow and I release the button. Yellow is solid on, other lights are off. I plug in the remaining connectors. Insert the key into ignition, and turn to RUN position. The light stays solid yellow.

I have probed the C2 & C4 and have 2.4v for CAN-Low at the C connector. I have 2.6v at the C1 & C3 connector for CAN-High. I can not get to the blue flashing x10 times in the programming steps.

Car starts normally with key.

Hello everyone

We installed an Evo-One on this RVR 2018 with factory HID headlights and LED Fog light using 23101 guide. We followed the guide to a T, the issue we are have is that as you remote start the vehicle using 3X lock the vehicle starts properly, but if the lights are set on automatic, the headlights and LED lights flash continuously as well if you turn off the lights and remote started the Vehicle the LED fog lights flash continuously both will flash until you take over the vehicle. Has anybody come across this? We think it might be a faulty EVO one module any thoughts please help.

OVE-ONE no LED lights when 6 pin main harness is inserted

EVO-ONE with HON2 Tharness and EVO Start module. Programming with Flash Link Updater was completed successfully but when connecting 6 pin main power harness inside the vehicle while holding down the programming button, none of the LED lights illuminate. Power harness leads were tested with a multimeter and there is 12 volts but the EVO-ONE LED's do not light up so I cannot enter the dcryptor programming mode. Even though none of the lights on the EVO-One illuminate, the connected EVO Start module has a flashing RED led so there is definitely power going to the EVO-ONE.

Installed on a 2019 Honda Civic

Fortin EVO All with Fortin LTE

Connected all wires as per installation instructions. Bought Flash link and flashed to 17.31 following the wizard. Programmed Frotin Evo module to vehicle(blue LED blinks rapidly). When pressing starting lock 3x - module sounds internal relay is clicking and parking light flash however dash ignition does not come on. Checking EVO all diagram - RED Connected D2 yellow/blue start+ wires goes into 1n4004 diodes - strip facing towards PTS button - then to yellow/black and yellow/orange. ignition does not turn on.

Disconnected the diodes to measure direct and yellow/blue wire for voltage output...getting zero volts when remote start is requested. Tried to reflash Fortin 4 times and still have not been able to get voltage output from d2 yellow/blue.

I am missing something or is there internal module fault?

Installing stand-alone on a 2020 Nissan Frontier PTS. The Frontier has a factory hood switch for alarm functions. The config / options section of the guide states to set A11 to OFF if no hood pin. Does this imply to set A11 to ON in this circumstance? And I assume the blue hood pin wire is moot in this situation, or does it require grounding as the full diagram illustrates? A little confused on the intent.

I installed it evo-one + rm411, starting with the OEM key works.3 item close is car in run. I wanted to install rm411, the programming of the key fob is successful, but it does not react to it.no open, no close, no run engine... how should it be???maybe you need settings??? I have 2 of them, here is one of them, the other is in the car, bought this year. on this block 002B04 650369 need to reset the decryptor because I didn't understand what was wrong and tried many others...please help me to do it right...and to work rmf411, really needed

2018 SUBARU OUTBACK (US Model) - EVO ONE - THAR-ONE-SUB1 & THAR-ONE-SUB3 - Module will not program

This is on my 2018 Subaru Outback, US model

REGULAR KEY - Automatic Transmission - No factory alarm system (from what I can tell) - Yes factory immobilizer

Remote Start: Fortin EVO One. Firmware Version: 84.12. Using Flashlink USB programmer.

Wire Harness: THAR-SUBONE-SUB1 & THAR-SUBONE-SUB3 (both SUB1 & SUB3 harnesses simultaneously I guess? Though initially unsure, I went forward & did order and installed both as shown in the diagram linked in the next line down. Specifically, on page 5 out of Ten, the page with the heading: THAR-ONE-SUB1 & THAR-ONE-SUB3 | AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CONNECTION )

Before connecting to the car, I:

1. connected the evo one to my laptop & ran the flashlink software.

2. The software recognized the USB programmer.

3 Then I plugged in the Evo One module & confirmed it was detected in flashlink software

4. I logged in, then input the following vehicle data: 2018 subaru outback, regular key .

5. I let the flashlink software download the newest firmware & recommended settings for the 2018 subaru outback
6. I hit the program button to send the configuration to the Evo One

7. Disconnected Evo one from the flashlink programmer & held down the programming button

8. While holding down the programming button, plugged in the 6 pin connector from the Sub-One harness, at this point installed in the car, to the Evo One

9. Continued holding down programming button while the red yellow & blue lights cycled, then released the button when the lights were lit up RED & Blue simultaneously

10. Began to press the programming button 6 times to enter the programming mode

11. However, right after the very first push of the programming button the red & blue lights would blink once & then go back to solid red & blue so I continued pushing 5 more times to get a total of 6 presses.

13. At this point, the module is blinking red & blue simultaneously 5 times in a row > pause > blink red & blue 5x again > pause > red & blue 5x blink > continues in perpetuity until I insert the vehicle key & turn it to the Ignition 2 position (2 clicks/aka accessory mode)

12. Soon as key turns to ignition 2 setting, The RED & BLUE lights both light up & stay on continuously.

13. The instructions say to start the car at this point, but turning the key from Ignition 2 to Start does not cycle the starter. No lights dim, no clicking from relays, it is not even trying to start.

14. I hold the key in start position for about 2-3 seconds, then release it back to ignition 2 which would leave the vehicle running normally if it had started at this point

15. The red & blue lights on the evo one continue to stay lit continuously & never reach the part where they flash 10 times, ostensibly because the engine never even started still which does make sense.

I guess my question is, does this have anything to do with the jumper that is shown in the PDF? I don't understand what the diagram is trying to say with the Jumper A & Jumper B section. Does the jumper in jumper A need to be removed? And then the cable in the jumper b position get plugged back into the Sub 3 harness? But only for the outback & legacy models of the car? I'm not quite clear what I'm supposed to do with the jumper A OR the Jumper B. So I just left them both plugged in.

After a while sitting in ignition 2 position with the red & blue lights lit up on the evo still, I just gave up & turned the key off then unplugged the : 5p Data link wire > 6p red plug > 20p white plug > 6p main power plug from the evo to turn it off. Then plugged it back into the flashlink programmer & attempted to see if I could do the decryptor programming anyway, but as expected I get the notification that the module never received the datalink information

I also tried reflashing the module once or twice to be sure the settings stuck, the behavior of the vehicle stays the same. I have read through about 50 of the first quiestions that were relevant to this generation subaru that I could find on here and have not seen this answered elsewhere. I hope maybe someone can advise me on what tthe jumpers do, what I should do with the jumpers in jumper A & jumper B plugs, and how they would affect, if at all, the vehicle no longer starting with the regular key

I am in the process of installing this and I get to step 7 and it is supposed to be solid red then in step 8 red and yellow alternating. At step 7 after Blue red yellow alternate it goes to 3 red flashes over and over. What could be causing this?

Im able to get the module into programing mode with the flashing red, yellow, and blue lights. The vehicle will shut down (key off) durring the process but will not key on. The key off happens near the end of the programing procedure i belive this is supposed to be a signal to key on and complete the key learning. I also notice the evo one will light blue when the fob is pressed but when remote start sequience is started no lights illuminate on the module. Im thinking firmware issue im running 60.10 as recomended and tried a few others. module # 002B04 266571

Also none of the other options like door unlock are not working. Do I have to reprogram the Evo one again. I know that the firmware should be atleast 1.21. When i push start from the app the green light on the evo start 2 is turning on but nothing is happening.

I have followed the following steps and it was not working.

Ignition ON - OFF - ON (While holding the brake?)

Press and release brake 4 times

Press and hold the Evo start button until green

Turn OFF Ignition

Key fobs wont program

I have a 2006 Chev silverado 2500HD and i have installed the fortin EVO ONE. I can get the module to program once all the wires were hooked up under the dash but i cannot get the RF942 antenna to light up when trying to program the key fobs. is like it is not detecting it. i have tried both methods with the valet switch and cycling the key and foot brake 4 times. The only time i get a flicker from the antenna is just when you plug it in. This was pre programmed from the shop i bought it from and they dont have uch insight for me. Is it possibly a programming issue? I have gone through all my connections several times and they are all good on that end.

Hello, I need assistance. I don't have a transponder in my Toyota Yaris 2007. I have two black car keys, one of which is a 3-button remote. I selected Function 2-4 and Function 20-2. I installed the "without keyless" 2007 Yaris mod. I disconnected the yellow wires and connected the white one to the start input. During programming, I used the 3-button key, but the red light remains steady. The car isn't working; it only activates the any lights, and the lights flash irregularly. The device is "Evo One 2016" Ftx64-2w.

I want to buy Evo-One for my Mitsubishi Triton (pickup truck, diesel engine, automatic transmission) manufactured in Thailand, 2020. I used the card in Vietnam.

I just want to know if I can use Evo-One Fortin product for my car, is it compatible. If yes, do i need to buy the Thar-One-Mit 2 (T-Harness for Mitsubishi vehicles) to work for connection or installation process with Evo-One.

Was able to program and set options via mobile programmer however despite a successful decryption vehicle says "wrong ID" on dashboard when remote starting.

2009 Kia Spectra. THAR-ONE-KHY1. I need to know which wire to connect the tach signal to. Yes, in the Wire Colour diagram it does tell me which wire on the ECM, but no-where can I find which wire on the EVO-one it must be connected to. I have by-passed it currently using programmable option 20.2, but the start quality is pathetic; in cold temperatures it requires more crank time, causing excessive starter drag in warmer conditions. Adjust for warm temperatures and the crank is in-sufficient for the cold mornings. Advice for me?

Can the evo-all be installed using the thar-vw3 and tb-Vw in a manual transmission 2011 jetta as a bypass/interface module with a separate starter? If so is it the same wiring connections show on the thar-Vw3 with the exception of the brake vs the clutch bypass difference in the automatic vs manual wiring for the evo all.
