Relay only needed for OEM fob remote start?

2020 Kia Forte, standard key. I saw on another site that you only have to hook up the relay if you want to remote start using the OEM remote. If we only plan to use a RF kit and their remotes, is it possible to bypass this part of the install?

Hey guys,

So Kia has released a new firmware update for their cars in order to deal with the rise in car thefts. The update is applied at the dealership. I've been thinking about getting the update, but I need to make sure my Evo-One will still remote start the engine after the changes are made.

I have a 2020 Kia Forte with a push-button fob. From what I've gathered, after the update, the BMS must receive the unlock command from the KeyFob in order for the engine to start. If the car isn't unlocked and I were to try to start it, it would end up panicing for 60 seconds.

I know the EVO-One already unlocks the doors over CanBus, but does it support the update Kia is applying to our cars? Will it still remote start the car after changes are made?

i working at kia and installed lot of remote start

i have 2014 forte(key start)

double checked all wires and evo-all

we installed autostart with evo-all on 2014 forte(key)

Is it possible for the evoall to unprogram itself?

it's working only one day or few hours

door lock,unlock everythings work without remote start

if reprogram evoall. remote start is working right now

but Just cranking no start after a day

i tried new evo-all, no change

bonjour c pour vous mentionner que la version 76.09 du evo-all ne fontionne pas avec forte 2014 a clef deja 5 vehicule d'essayer et door lock ne fontionne pas.

par la suite encore concernant forte 2014 a clef il faut envoyer desarme du demareur sur fil rose avec le fil blanc noir de l'evo car lorsque l'alarme est mit et que l'on part vehicule avec demareur, si client l'arrete avec manette ou si le cycle de 15 minute se fais et arrete seul l'alarme s'enclanche et crie.j'ai tenter de communique avec Alex mais ne ma pas retourner mes appels.

I have a kia forte 2010 , suddenly appear a message ( manage the steering and push start botton) I replaced the start up locker from damaged car two times its work for a while then show same message . The item number of this spare part is 81900 - 2M000 . Do you can help me what to do.
