EVO ALL Mazda CX-5 Decryptor not working

I am installing a Fortin EVO ALL with THAT-MAZ1 THarness on a 2019 Mazda CX-5 PTS A/T following guide #66311. I had successfully performed steps 1-16, but repeating steps 1-12 as directed by step 17, it wouldn't complete the program, even after multiple attempts. Following previous answers in this forum, I was instructed to reset the EVO ALL and try to reprogram. Now, when I perform steps 1-12, I am getting a flashing red LED instead of the alternating Red and yellow. The Flashlink indicates Invalid Key Data. I have even attempted to program with a new module with the same flashing red LED. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2013 CX-5 Cranks But Won't Start M/T

EVO-ONE. I have the THAR-ONE-MAZ3 harness. White cable for clutch bypass is connected. Not sure what's going on. I've tried changing the programmable output from 2.1 (default) to 2.2 (I think it should be this one?) and still no luck. It will try to crank for a few seconds, then shut off then tries again for a few seconds but won't start. Yellow jumper was cut when I received it, but it is currently twisted together until I verify what the issue is then I'll do a more rigid connection. I don't have the hood pin switch connected, my kit didn't come with it. Not sure if this is preventing it from starting or not. I have tried enabling and disabling A11 for this but still no luck with remote start.
Install Guide #68261 Thar-One-Maz3 2017 Mazda CX-5 Automatic Push Start

I am following steps in Guide #68261.

1) As per large yellow "ATTENTION" warning, disconnected - terminal from battery.

2) Removed covers

3) Made the following connections: #4,#5,#6

7) Made the other required connections: Diagram on page 4 (Connect everything else)

6) Reconnect - battery terminal

Page 7 Step 1: Connect the 6-pin Main Harness

--already connected everything to Evo-One control at #7, however diagram show Evo-One control with NOTHING connected !

Are those connectors magically disconnected by themselves ? Maybe missing instructions ?

....disconnect battery - terminal ? .....disconnect all connections from Evo_One control ? ...reconnect - battery terminal ?

Evo One w/ Linkr LT2 - Transfer to New Car

The time has come to let the 2015 Honda Odyssey go, .

I have the Evo One with Linkr LT2 for several years now and works flawlessly. As a matter of fact, I have the same set-up in 2 of my other vehicles. GREAT PRODUCT!

Question, do I have to do a complete "hard" reset prior to installing the Evo One or can I use the flashlink to make the changes (new vehicle, key, etc) and update the Evo One. And would you know if I have to "reset" the Linkr LT2?

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

FYI, I'm going from a 2015 Odyssey to a 2019 CX5 (I have the THAR-ONE-MAZ3 already on order).

Cx-5 without datakey failing remote starting

Hello,

I have a mazda cx-5 2016 with automatic transmission push to start.

but unfortunately my car doesn't have a DATAKEY pin in the CAN .

I'm using evo-all with RF kit (EVO RM942).

As per my understanding with DATAKEY not available I'm only left with the setup "Regular installation-1key programming" GUIDE#63601

I have made all the connectivity as per the guide and configured the module as per the guide...but never got the module to start my car...I got it only to lock and unlock my car using the RF remote or original remote.

when I try to start my car the evo-all module just starts clicking multiple time but the car never starts.

below is a link of a video for the behavior of EVO-ALL when I attemp to remote start the car.

https://www.veed.io/view/5b07e914-1a3c-49d4-ab0c-5372c7b1c617?sharingWidget=true&panel=share
Software Incompatibility with Remote Function Actuation

I have installed the EVO-ONE-942 with THAR-ONE-MAZ3 on my 2016 Mazda CX5 Automatic Push Start, and when scanning the vehicle with Thinkcar I get a DTC in EPS module, code U0338:00-08 (Software incompatibility with remote function actuation).

After clearing all code, it comes back again ...

Also, I've noticed the trunk open on the remote opens it half way, meaning it still cannot be actually opened until you unlock the car. Is there a way to disable trunk open as it doesn't work right?

Another weirs "issue" I found, when the car is unlocked with Fortin remote, then locked with "OEM" remote, when you check status with Fortin remote, it will say unlocked even though it's locked. Then when you lock with Fortin remote, it will report the status correctly.

Some quick post-install questions ...

I have just installed the EVO-ONE-942 with THAR-ONE-MAZ3 on my 2016 Mazda CX5 Automatic Push Start.
Everything seems to work just fine, but I had a couple of questions ...

When I did the programming with Flashlink manger I went throigh the "wizard" step by step, and picked
that my car already has an OEM Alarm system (I verified by rolling window down, locking, then unlocking,
and it sounded the alarm). I chose not to use the OEM remote for starting, just the Fortin RF one ...
I also did not install the Valet switch, or the Hood pin.

Question, since it seems to work I am assuming that I didn't need to enter manual options to fine tune anything?

Also, when I went through the programming, would I automatically get a firmware update or did I have to do
that step manually and I missed it? My unit was made at the end of 2020 so I assume it's fairly up to date?

Thanks in advance!

2018 Mazda CX-5 with the EVO-ONE and THAR-ONE-MAZ3. The remote start works fine, but I haven't been able to find a combination of settings where I can unlock the passenger door after a remote start (with key or button on door handle), without setting the system to just unlock all of the doors all of the time. There is a setting that specifically mentions allowing this function, and it doesnt seem to do anything expect for some reason adding a honk to confirm the start up sequence is complete. Firmware for bypass/remote start are both up to date as of today. When I don't trigger a remote start and unlock the car with the fob/door handle, the car unlocks the driver door first and passenger doors second as normal.

These issues persist regardless of being remote started or started as normal. I'm not sure if it matters, but the current remote start procedure is set to lock-unlock-lock.

Start stop unit connector 2 wires don’t match to the guide

Hi,

mazda cx5 2014 keyless entry push to star automatic.

In the guide it says that I should splice Lt.blue/black wire from T harness to the 8th pin black/white wire of the 32 pin connector 2 from start stop unit.

The issue is that I have no any wire in the 8th pin of the connector2.

Could you please let me know where to connect Lt.blue/black wire?

thanks

In the install guide it states the minimum hardware ver 3. Is this refering to the Starter or EVO-ALL hardware?

I'm looking for some clarification.

In the installation guide for a Mazda CX5, Evo-one + Thar-one-Maz3 Guide # 68261. Its states Hardware Verison: 3 Minimum.

On that back of my evo-one there is mulitple hardware versions listed.

Starter 7.1.21
EVO-ALL 2.4.18
Date: 10/2017

I'm confused, the starter hardware version is above ver 3, but the evo-all is below 3. In the guide which version is it refering too? Since the unit has a recent build date (10/2017) i would think that it would be the lastest and greatest hardware version, Right?? Why would fortin be still manufacturing old versions?

thanks in advance!

Which remote start is good for me?

Hi,
I am a newbie in the remote start area, I do not understand a lot of things.

I am looking for a simple remote start solution using my original for my 2014 Mazda CX-5 automatic.

The site gives me 2 answers, EVO-ONE and EVO- ALL for double price. I do not understand what are the differences
- What does mean T-Harness available? Is it necessary or optional? For what?

- Flash Link updater? What is? Ok, I know what is firmware updater, but is this required or optional?

- What is Regular installation and Standalone installation?

- What is Take over? Is it something hardware or just a settings?

Evo all on CX-5

1. Do I have to connect wires for parking lights? I can't find 6 pin connector near the handle. 2. Power: I installed the remote starter only unit woth evo-all. I connected data cable but did not get any power. So I cut the red and black wire and hard connected them. Is that OK for having a Remote starter? How are the two units going to communicate each other? 3. Programming : the instruction told me to press and release the programming button 5 times after I get solid blue and red lights. I did that but those two lights are not flashing at all. They just remain solid whatever I do.

Wiring diagram CX5 Stand Alone

Hey I know this might be rookie questions but, I recently purchased the Evo All for my mazda CX5.

I will be installing it Stand Alone.

Looking at page 3 of 13, I am a bit confused with the wiring of D1 and D3. You say to cut the wire from slot 3 on parking connector, then to attach D1 to wire coming from car harness not the connector, is that right or am i reading it wrong?

Is D3 connected?

thanks
