evo all remote start on 2017 toyota corolla does not start the car

so i have a 23 tundra non hybrid that i couldnt get evo one to work and now factory remote isn't working.first off didnt want to pay 15/m for toyotas sub par remote start but i guess im going to have to now. i triple checked the wiring /splices prior to install so wiring was good. followed the procedures and all the lights during setup worked the dycriptor worked, but when i went to remote start nothing except my key fob temporarily stopped responding to doors and push button. so i went back and changed the setting to unlock door prior to start and nothing but key fob not responding no push button start. not knowing what caused it i removed it reconnected the pink wire and after a few min i could start the car and open/close doors. went in the toyota app subscribed to the remote connect and all is well except remote start is no longer working gives me a d5 error and to contact dealer. every thing else in car works just not remote start. so i connected my scan tool and now i get an u111787 lost communication with accessory gateway for bcm and special key did i fry the control module or did i break the pink wire in connector. like i said every other function works just fine only remote start ive installed the evo one multiple times in older cars with out a problem. im hoping when i take it to dealer its an easy fix like a relearn or something but i fear it will be an expensive fix

So i sussfully connected the evo all to my vw jetta 2012. When I press the unlock and lock buttons the blue led pops up. But it doesn't remote start it. What's the issue?

Evo-One with Fortin 4 button 1 way remotes.

Reset the unit several times. Here's some more interesting info...the valet button doesn't do anything. I've replaced the valet button as well as just touched the wires together and still nothing. So doing a complete 23 reset is not possible.

Today I figured I would rewire the 6 pin harness, to eliminate the t connectors. No change.

It goes thru the start sequence, clicks once and then just like the key was turned off. It will act like it does a remote take over as well. When running, if I press to "leave" the vehicle but have it stay running, it clicks like it's ready. As soon as I turn the key it shuts down. It's getting cold and dark and I have maybe a few hours on weekends to try to figure this all out.

Possible to install an EVO-ALL module for transponder bypass, with no remote start unit?

A more complete version of my question is; I am looking to purchase a Fortin EVO-ALL unit to install in my car and I have no need or want for remote starting functionality; I ONLY need the key transponder bypass functionality. Is it possible to install the Fortin EVO-ALL unit alone, with no remote starter unit connected, to simply store and emulate the transponder key?

Background: a couple years ago, I built a tube-frame kit car using a Chevy with PK3+ donor car, and I would like to add a push-button starter to the car now. One of my requirements for this project is that the factory ignition switch is to be removed. I have a custom PCB in my possession that handles the ignition switch side, but now I need to handle emulation of the key transponder/immobilizer bypass side. I understand that there's plenty of other products available to do this, but I need one that will not rely on a resistance loop around the transponder ring, since the factory ignition will be removed.

Hi,

I installed Evo ALL on Pathfinder 2022 using TNIS7 harness and Crimestopper rf kit. Installation was straight forward, programming was easy as well. When I try to start car it will not. Using factory fob, car receives CAN signals (blue led blinks) and dashboard lights up. Using rfkit remote, lock unlock dont work (only lights flash, door will not lock unlock). When try to start car using rf kit remote, first it locks door, dash turns on and thats all. Evo sends CAN signals(blue) and recognize Ignition (yellow).

When I programed module I turned bypass hood switch on in options and picked Crimestopper rfkit (but this should not matter because 3xLock doesnt work either). I used firmware 92.05 (instructions states to use 92.04)

Any advice, what am I doing wrong?

I have programmed the unit sn: 001A07 415854 Evo All. Installed with wiring harness THAR-CHR4 (Both Yellow wires on the harness are connected together). Programmed the unit. All these went according to the documentation, correct leds and all.

My vehicle is a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0CRD Limited with Start Button

I do the 3x Lock Blue Led comes on every time I press the lock button. Then all power comes on, a few seconds later the red and yellow led is solid and the radio shuts off just like it does while it cranks but no crank??

What could I be doing wrong?

2021 Mazde Cx-30, push start Automatic EVO-One , Thar-one-MAZ5 Harness, Flash-link4

1) Installed, all connections checked and rechecked

2) Options set using Flashlink on a PC as per instructions (checked again)

3) dcryptor run, on a PC, it went to and updated the access code from the internet

4) finished the programming, all lights flashed the correct colours at the correct time in the process

5) testing; I stand >15 ft away, press lock lock lock. The horn sounds lights flas as a normal car lock. car does not start. nothing happens, no additional lighst or anything else

Other points. I cut the yellow loop as started in the instructions

how do I troubleshoot?

This is a weird one, because the car remote starts pretty much every other remote start session. I'm not sure what's causing that as I checked the wiring and it doesnt seem like anything is wrong. So here it goes, when i try to remote start the car from far I see my brake lights turn on* (as in the brakes are being pressed) but the car does not start. the problem is mainly that the brake lights STAY ON unless I actually go to the car and start it myself, however even when i get to the car nothing pretty much works. I press the brakes myself and when I press the the push to start button it stays on lock (it goes LOCK-ACC-ON) so i pretty much freak out, unlock and lock mulitple times, press and depress the brake while keep hitting the push to start untill it goes off and then I manually start it.

I have a 2016 Subaruy Legacy Limited with key start. The EVO-1 with T-harness worked fine. After hitting a deer and vehicle being repaired(all body, no mechanical repairs), it does not remote start.

Press lock button 3 times, the red light, then the blue light, then the yellow light comes on. Dash lights come on, parking lights come on, then all shut off. Parking lights flash 4 times, then reattempts starting, then same thing.

I removed the unit and updated with flash-link, still does not work.

I had read about valet mode adn pressing lock and unlock buttons to get it out of valet, nothing.

I read about no tach signal, but there is not tach wire on Evo-1 I read.

The unit is Service # 002B07 267043

I know I am overlooking something, I just cannot see what it is.

when trying to activate (lock-lock-lock), the blue light comes on with each time the lock button is pressed and at the same time the red led next to the loop blinks rapidly. after the lock lock lock, the red light blinks twice and then goes back to blinking rapidly

Having problems with the Evo One not kicking the remote starter on. Programming was did right Im assuming, the can connections are correct assuming becuase i was getting the flashing blue led and such when programming. I do not have the EMS wire so i did use option 2 in the installation diagram. Hit the oem remote 3 times but nothing. Not sure what needs to be checked in the firmware updater though. Kinda stumped and help would be appreciated.

iI followed the guide for honda cr-v 2017 lx key start option. and done all the pairing process and the decrytion process, then after that i installed everything back all the pins to car. there is no light on the module awhen all pins were connected back, i went outside my car and tried to remote start my car while looking inside to the module while i press 3 X lock no lights on the module everytime i press the 3X lock start procedure. my car won't start at all. please help thank you!

All light sequences occurred as described in instructions during set-up (open door, push to start, close door, etc.). Brought the module in to computer in order to do decryption process - which appeared to work as described (according to the software). Then took the module to the vehicle, re-connected the module, re-assembled the OEM remote/key, and tried to use the OEM key to remote start, but it did not work (blue light flashed on module).

What am I doing wrong?

I hardwired all the connections and they are good. The three lock presses dont do anything. If i ground out the yellow wire i hear some relays clicking but nothing happens.

The vehicle is push to start.

The module is EVO-RS

One thing i noticed is in the instructions it states after the blue LED is blinking rapidly when I press the start button again the blue led should turn off but it continues to blink slowly.

I have a 2013 Toyota Sienna G-key and installed the Evo-one with toy-9 harness paired with MyCar remote start. The S/N on the Fortin is 002B04076080. The remote start function only works sometimes just when it wants to. The parking lights flash, unlock/lock on remote start and leds light up (blue & yellow). It worked perfectly before I spliced the disarm, sliding left and right door wires. Splicing the wires did nothing useful because it doesn't disarm hence why I enabled the unlock/lock feature also when I press lock or unlock on the mycar app either the left or right door open, so disabled this feature. I tried resetting the Evo, reprogramming it and check for loose wires.

i have the chrt5 using connection C. firm ware is up to date D1 and C1 are selected. doubble checked all wiring. i can watch the evo lights go through the function modes but car does not start. So the weird part is it worked 4 times when i first installed it. not sure whats going on. car will start with key so i know its still getting power.

I have a 2005 4Runner with the Evo One installed per guide 84911. Installed RFL942 RF kit. Was able to program unit with Flash Link Updater, and program one key for bypass. Was able to program both remotes. Can lock and unlock car with both remotes. Remote start will not work. When remote start is initiated, the red LED next to the programbutton on the Evo One will blink 3 times, and nothing more. Parking lights wil not blink. No ignition, no start, nothing more. The remote will report that the start did not work.

Also the RFK942 antenna bule LED does not light up. It did initially after install and remote programming, but it no longer does. I'm not sure if this is something that I turned off in the programming, as I tried several different options there, including starting over with the programming guide.

I attempted to factory reset the Evo One, however I was unable to get the unit to factory default, as described in the help links. I don't have a data link harness setup, so I was undertain if it is not possible, or if the reset can be attempted while connected to the Flash Link Updater. It's be nice if there was a factory default option in the PC program, but starting over seens to do the same thing.

What can I do to troubleshoot this? Is the unit defective, or am I missing some step?

Hello everyone. Working with a 2004 Chrevrolet Corvette. Have an EVO-ONE with the recommended 70.18 firmware installed. The bypass programs correctly... However, when commanded to remote start with the RM942 fob, it attempts to start, but it wont crank. Parking lights come on, ignition and accessories turn on, everything's great.. just no crank. As a test, I left he key in the ingition and arttempt to remote start.. It starts fine! Is the EVO not bypassig correctly before it attempts to turn on the car ? If it helps... 002B07336612

Have been using the Evo-All in my fusion for months. Not one problem. Today I go outside to remote start and the alarm goes off. I disarm then lock the doors again. Same issue. When I open the drivers side door, the chimes go off as if the headlights were on. Is there a module fried in this car now? I'm running firmware 71.46

Installed system yesterday on 2011 Chevy Express. Worked when the dash was apart. Tucked it all out of the way and reinstalled lower dash. Then it wouldn’t start. Look at the module and no lights appear. Tried with the key and nothing. Took it all out and replugged the factory harnesses on the ignition switch. Tried with key again and still nothing. Doesn’t crank. Fuel pump primes. Checked fuse box and all fuses are ok. What did this short out?? Desperation as this is my work truck. Please help.

Unit firmware was updated with Flash-Link for 2012 KIA Optima 2012 PTS and recommended options were selected and save. Programmed correctly but will not remote start. The module flashes Blue LED for each press of the lock button on OEM remote, Red LED comes on then goes out, the door lock opens and then locks with another flash of the Blue LED. Engine does not crank. I checked all the wire connections for continuity with multi meter and verified the connections per the installation guide # 46311.

I have 2015 honda crv push to start. I installed evo one with t-harness THAT-ONE-HON3 rev.2. Followed the guide #57131. Everything programed correctly. I wanna use oem remotes by pressing 3x lock to start my car. However it does not work. Blue light comes on evo one every time I press lock on the remote but does not start the vehicle. No red light. When I start the vehicle manually by pressing the brake and pushing the start button I have a yellow light on the evo one. I hoppe somebody would help me to figure this out. Thanks in advance

2008 Ford Edge, standard key

Module programs successfully in the vehicle with 2 keys: dash lights come on, red LED flashes, blue LED flashes, and dash lights go off.
Blue LED blinks when lock 3x is pressed on remote, nothing else happens, no other lights.

Just need remote start; don't need any other optional features.

T harness is connected to ignition cylinder (both T connectors).

Yellow (A1), Lt.Blue/Black (A10), Lt.Blue (A20) from the 20-pin connector are correctly

connected to matching color wires on T harness.
CAN High (C3) and CAN Low (C4) correctly connected from 4-pin connector to ODB-II connector.
It would not program before connecting all 5 of these wires, now programming completes successfully; still does not remote start.

What am I missing?

I'm installing on my wife's 2014 mazda 3 push button start manual. i have followed directions and programmed module how ever nothing happens when i try to remote start it. car starts and drives. I have noticed ignitoin switch doesn't light up any more when vehilce is running. lights green with clutch pressed. The only wires i needed to hook up per directions was the clutch wire and hood switch... do i need to hook up any other wires not mentioned? Its not in valet mode. i noticed parking lights don't flash when enabling disabling valet mode does that mean theres an issue with the module or wiring in t-harness?

I've recently upgraded my remote start system in my 07 Grand Cherokee. What I had was and Autopage remote start unit with and EVO-ALL using 74.08 firmware. All functions worked on that system. I decided to upgrade to a new Compustar CMS7200 unit while keeping the EVO-ALL. During installation, I wanted to check which options I could set in the EVO-ALL using the flash link updater. When I hooked it up, it told me that new firmware is available and 74.35 was recommended. I upgraded the firmware and set the options and tested it out. Everything worked except the remote start. The vehicle would start and run for about 3 seconds and then shutdown. Knowing that my previous system didn't do this, I downgraded back to 74.08 which worked fine. I ended up going between several versions of firmware trying to get the later versions to work. I tried 74.34, then 74.22 and both shutdown the remote start immediately. I also tried 74.14 which worked. During this process, I was trying to troubleshoot the unlock-lock before remote start, so i downgraded to 74.12 noting how 74.14 made the relock faster after unlock before remote start. After this, it told me my unit can't be flashed anymore. So why doesn't the newer firmware work? And can you unlock my EVO-ALL so that I can manage the options in it?

Updated firmware and now when I cycle key and solid blue to flashing blue, when I hit the lock button all colors of the led flash and nothing works. The unit had been working for the last 14months with no issue.

I'm having an issue with my 3x lock remote start function after installation on my 2017 Kia Sedona Push-to-Start. It attempts to start, but the starter keeping trying to turn for about 8 seconds straight, doesn't start successfully, and then the parking lights flash 3 times. The car then locks, waits about 5 seconds, and goes through the same sequence a second time and gives the same 3x flashes on parking lights.

I don't know if the 3x parking light flashing error is considered before start or after start in this case, as they mean two different things.

Any idea what the issue is? It almost sounds like the car's trying to start but either the spark plugs or the fuel line isn't feeding, which I'm guessing means that the immobilizer is still enabled. I checked all the wire connections and they are good, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

Issue programming crimestopper revo 1.1 to evo-one - 2016 KIA Soul

Everything else on the installation has gone fine per the instructions for programming the EVO ONE module. However, the module will not change from the YELLOW LED when turning the key to the ON position when trying to program the Crimestopper REVO remotes.

I do see that others mentioned that they downgraded the firmware to 1.16, but those posts are two years old at this time... Is this still necessary? It also seems that, the OEM key buttons will not work once the car is remote started??

I thought the purpose of buying the additional RF kit was to have the OEM keys work to unlock the vehicle remotely, after the car has been started remotely??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I programmed the unit. Loghts come on truck turns on then right back off then back on then off then doesn’t start.

the truck is 6.7 diesel. The service number for the unit is 001A06 783518. Tried reinstalling multiple times with now luck.

The module appears to successfully have programmed to the car, however, when I do the 3 button push on the factory remote it does not start the car. I have attached the rf642 and was able to successfullly program one of the remotes. When I try to start the car via the 2 way remote, the parking lights come on and it it looks like it is trying to start, however, none of the dash lights come on. The red led by the cut loop wire is blinking and after about 30 seconds it quits attempting to start. I can also hear sounds in the car as if something was activated, When it finally quits, the partking lights appear to blink 4 times, which should indicate no tach. But Im not sure what to look for in that.

And finally, the 2 way remote was controlling the locks at one point, but that has stopped and I am not able to program the second remove via the valet switch or by the ign on off on method.

Edit: I have been able to get the other remote to program and now the remotes are making calls to the bypass/RS, however, when I try to RS the car it clicks, RED LED comes on, but it does not go ignition. After it fails twice, the lights blink 4 times still. Not sure why it wouldnt be getting tach at this point.

RF642W and Evo One. Remote start does not work.

Last year installed Evo One with HON5 T harness in my 2014 Honda Pilot. The remote start worked great pressing the lock button 3 times on factory FOB. Fast forward to today. Installed a RF642W. Programmed 1 of the key FOBS that came with the RF642w kit. Remote start and lock/unlock doors worked fine. So programed the 2nd key FOB from kit. Now remote start does not work on either FOB or the 3X on facory FOB. Tried a program of said RF642w FOBS a few more times. Same result. No remote start, but lock/unlock works on FOB 1.) Have "valet" switch plugged into module. Used it for programming the FOBS. Left it pugged in. 2.) Have "RF Antenna" plugged into Blue plug on module. 3.) Tried H1 and H2 options under RF Antenna in module options. 4.) When attempt remote start the Honda lights flash 4 times, but no start. 5.) ITried it remote start withut valet switch plugged in - no change. Question" Is there an easy fix or should I reset module to factory options via Flash Link? Using Flask Link V2.
