When I called several times one tech said I should push the letter "o" when programming options with the Flashlink updater. The other techs said I should always use the configuration tab when programming and never use the letter "o" method. The one tech said he uses the "O" method all the time as he is an installer also. I also found the instructions about what each option did very lacking. it should be explained that one side is the Remote Starter and the other side is the by-pass. I would have saved much time if that were explained better, or at all in the instructions. Unless i just overlooked it somehow. I also had to hardwire the brake in order to prgram the rf kit i used, it would not read the brake through the can wires.
