2011 Ford Escape red light stays on during programming - SOLVED

Vehicle: 2011 Ford Escape

Evo All #001A07260304 installed with T-harness THAR-FORD4; plug-n-play install, teed connections to ignition switch, immobilizer antenna and OBDII connector; no wires spliced

Can't get the unit to program. Process: Hold program button, plug in data cable and release on red light. Insert key and turn on until theft light turns out. Remove first key and insert second. Turn on for 3 seconds, theft light goes out, turn off and remove. Last step says to press and release programming button within 5 seconds (this is where it gets stuck). Red light should flash 10 times and blue light should flash 10 times and ignition comes on and turns off again. When I press the button the last time, the red light blinks and just stays on.

I've tried the firmware downgrade listed in https://fortin.ca/en/qa/92073/faq-red-led-stuck-on . That link says to downgrade to v 0.99 but the lowest version for Ford appears to be 4.01. I flashed 4.01, power cycled in vehicle, reflashed v 71.52, unlocked settings and reset the unit. Still same results.

I've also tried testing the data bus. Hold button, insert data link connector, release button on blue light. Connected all other connections and turned key on. Blue light stays solid. Shouldn't it flash on data?

The yellow wire is not connected as it seems to be part of the T harness, but I've tested it for 12v on ignition and it is getting it. I don't have the valet switch or hood pin switch connected. What am I missing? I'm wearing out the plugs with all these connections/disconnections.

when im trying to program the EVO-all i get to the step where the blue and red dhould be on but the blue doesnt turn on

I installing an EVO-ONE standalone setting, i had update the firmware and select the options recommended, but when im trying to program the module it won't program.

So i hold the button, then i connect the 20 pin connector then the 5 pin and last the 6 pin connector, then the module start flashing slow blue,yellow,red,blue & red after it gets red and i release the button and the light stays on but when i insert the key, it won't flash the 10x.

Its a toyota camry 2009 standard key.

All LEDs are blinking rather than alternating?

2012 Ram 1500 standard key. after installation and wiring ready for programming, i plugged the data connector I just had all LEDs blinking. the first unit was replaced and i have the 2nd now but still the same, is there a problem on the unit itself or just my vehicle?

2016 Wrangler Blue Light not Blinking during install

I am at the point where i have the Blue LED and all the connectors attached. Then when i turn the key to the ignition on/run position, the blue LED does not flash.

Not sure what the issue is, since i have used the flash link updater to update the fimrware. Any suggestions?

i have a 2011 dodge ram 1500 i have the evo chrt4 and RF 642w I have two questios

1/ there are two programming guides 1 for the chrt4 and 1 for 642w do I go through both or just one ?

2/ I programmed the evo chrt4 everything is good ( My FOB key no longer works the door lock and unlock meaning its broken but still starts truck when in ignition} When I go to the programming of the 642w the light on the antenna flashes blue slowly ...during programming when key switch is turned to run postion the blue light on antenna is suspose to flash rapidily it does not ,,,Ive flashed the module again everything seems to be right not sure whats going on any help would be appreciated

2011 Chevrolet Cruze, standard switchblade key with ignition cylinder on column (not push to start). Using EVO-GMT1, with the t-harness. Only wire I have wired to the vehicle for now is the brown wire on the 5 pin connector, and that is spliced into the number 1 pin at the dlc for can bus. I can get programming to step 5. I have hit the program button 5 times, and it will flash 5 times in 4 sequences, and then stay on yellow when its done. When i turn the key it stays yellow and nothing happens. I do not want any other feature this offers, except 3 lock remote start. I have verified switching 0-3v at the brown terminal with key on, and have wired it multiple ways to verify it's not something I did.

I was able to get it to turn red once, turned the key off, removed the key, waited 5 seconds, and turned the key back on and it stayed red.

I am a gm technician and very familiar with these vehicles but I can not get this thing to program.
