2024 L200 remote start

For Information ...I installed Evo-ALL (3x-lock) on a 2024 Mitsubishi L200 (diesel). I specified a 2024 Outlander in the manager. The start runtime was 10 minutes (like on the Outlander), but the number of remote starts after parking the car turned out to be 2 (the Outlander manual says 1). I connected CAN-H and CAN-L in the BCM, on the middle gray connector, on the pink and purple wires.

Take Over

Hello. When I install a remote start with Fortin on new Prado, pressing the start-stop button helps prevent the engine from stalling when I press the brake. However, on Kia and Hyundai, pressing the start-stop button doesn't help. The engine still stalls when I press the drake. What's the cause?

2019 Elantra PTS, unable to program CanBus to Evo-One

Installed Evo-One on a 2019 Hyundai Elantra PTS. Verified wiring many times. When it comes to programming the module, all goes well till it’s time to program canbus section. I get it to the point the red led is flashing 5X then pauses. Push the PTS button twice to turn on ignition for canbus programming and nothing. No red led 10x then turning to blue. Any ideas into why this is happening would be great. Can usually get these figured out, but no luck here. Car has 2 different canbus hook ups, one at the obd connector and one behind the fuse panel.

Idle mode take over no longer working? 2019 Subaru Ascent PTS

I have a 2019 Subaru Ascent push to start. I installed the Evo One with the plug and play harness. everything was working fine...

I could activate idle mode by:

While vehicle is running, Activate Remote Start...Lights flash...Push the PTS Button once, orange light on PTS button would come on then off... get out and lock the doors...

Then Idle mode take over:

I would come back to the vehicle... unlock the doors... push the PTS button once, orange light would come on then off... press the brake pedal and then be able to go without shutdown)

I don't know what happened, but out of no where I can no longer do the take over after initiating idle mode.... when i press the PTS button nothing happens... no light comes on then off.... and when I press the brake the car shuts down....

I have tried reprogramming the module.... ive tried re adding the key to the module... same outcome. I am able to take over after a normal remote start... but not when I activate idle mode....

VALET mode from crimestopper REVO4.1 remote :: Turbo mode activation

I have an EVO-ONE for remote start and built in Alarm ( using the horn )

EVO-ONE S/N : 002B04198955

The setup is configured for a Nissan Qashqai ( rogue sport ) 2019 with a PTS ( using T harness )

I have installed the crimestopper REVO4.1 rf kit succesfully and i have two questions :

1- How to enter the Valet mode from the REVO remote ( their guide is very basic and did not mention how to do so , Though i discovered by luck that holding the trunk button would disarm the EVO only for temp time till i lock again but do not know how to trigger the Valet to stop the starter and alarm completely )

2- I cannot find a way to activate turbo mode ( it is already enabled in option 19 with 2 minutes runtime ),

while the engine is running and i am inside the vehicle, i press the remote start on Revo remote ,The Car acknowledge by 3 parking light flashes then if i press the ignition push button the car shutsdown ( while it should keep running and then i should leave the car and lock it to activate turbo for the 2 minutes )

I am stuck on the part that it shouldnot shutdown when i press the push button

I tested also with the same procedure but without pressing the push button , the car keeps running for more than 5 minutes ( i believe it should be in idle mode and will shutdown after the full 15 minutes but i didnot test to wait for 15 minutes )

Sorry for the long description and thanks for your support

EVO-START2 Installation with EVO-ONE on Mitsubishi Outlander: Which connection model?

Car is a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander GT 3.0 PTS.

Everything was installed as per the instructions (EVO-ONE) and the software was updated as reccomended. The OEM key turns on the car without any problems.

When adding the EVO-START2, I realized that the BLACK 4-PIN CONNECTOR was not included with the EVO-START2 packaging. Before ordering the proper cable, I was wondering which connection (1. high powered, 2. low powered RF2A, 3. low powered with THarness) model I need to do with my car (as per the EVO-START2 installation guide).

I searched and saw that you don't sell a Mitsubishi Outlander THarness of any kind... so connections 1 and 3 seems out of the question, but I wanted to double check before ordering the RFA2A connector for connection 2.

Car doesn't start after wiring evo-one

After wiring the evo-one, the guide states to make sure the vehicle starts before proceeding with programming (dcryptor). When I press the PTS button, it cranks once but doesn't start. If I press once again, I hear a click (sounds like a relay), but it doesn't even crank. I pressed again several times (15+), but there's nothing but a click (relay). I tried to disconnect the evo-one and the car crank but doesn't start neither... I triple check the wiring and everything seems fine. Any idea please?

Evo All - Brake Output Delay - Sonata 2015 PTS

I did an install on my Hyundai 2015 Sonata PTS with the Compustar CM7200 brain. Everything is functional but the issue that I am having is that upon entering the vehicle after a remote start if I press the brake the car stops a few seconds later as opposed to immediately. This is a big problem as sometimes I forget to press the PTS button twice after entering the vehicle and I press the brake to put it in gear and the car shuts off while the transmission is shifting gears into reverse. This causes the car to leap as if it stalled in gear and I can be certain this is not good for the transmission at all. I've usually done installs with iDatalink and it shut off immediately as soon as I put the foot on the brake pedal before I even have the chance to switch the gear. This is my first time using the Fortin with brake input using CANBUS.

2013 NISSAN JUKE STAND ALONE

Hello. A question. In the past year I installed evo-all (stand alone) on the 2013 nissan juke PTS and everything was fine. Yesterday, too, I installed evo-all again at 2013 juke, but did not start without pressing the brake pedal. Two days of suffering. Then I noticed that the car did not start on the first pressing of the brake pedal and on the PTS. At the same time, only the ignition was opened, and on the second press it was started. And, without a brake, pressing only on pts, three times it was necessary to press to turn on the ignition. I had to add the relay in the brake line to the brake pedal. And, now + 12V is applied to the pedal after the ignition is turned on. Is there any solution to this issue?

2012 Toyota 4Runner LTD PTS wire color & location

I am having a hard time identifying the correct plug/connector with wires to tap into, for an EVO-All installation. I suspect the information provided in WireColor is for other T4R models ( without Push to start[PTS]) because all pictures are from the passenger side , under glove compartment while the guides (29991 & 16221/12971) are pointing to driver's side ( kick panel/steering wheel/ECU body). The wire colors don't seem to match actual wires... or it could be I can't ID the correct plug.

It looks like I can't add pictures so I am including a link to a thread with actual pics of this car with plugs labeled....I am hoping someone can help identify the correct plug for IGNITION 1 & 2, STARTER 1 & 2, ACCESSORIES 1& 2 , A10, A20,A14.

	actual vehicle pictures

Note: I can provide better pics if needed.

	Thanks in advance!

EVO-One or EVO-All for 2017 Highlander? (Non-Hybrid PTS)

Hey guys, just picked up a 2017 Highlander a few days ago and Toyota said there was no remote starter available for the car from Toyota. I was wondering if it's better for me to go with the EVO-All or the EVO-One? I want to be able to use the 3x lock button. The chart on the information page doesn't really make sense to me so yeah. Thanks !

Remote Start Fails Intermittently

Hello,

I have an intermittent issue with my EVO-NIST1 and a FTX64-2W RF kit. The issue has happened 4-5 times were the car will fail the remote start. The 2-Way remote will confirm the command and give the green LED with ascending tone. The parking lights will come on but the car will not remote start. After about 10 seconds the parking lights will flash 3 times and the remote will give the red LED signal with descending tone. I read in the RF kit troubleshooting that this corresponds to the car not being in Ready mode or being shut down from the transmitter. The Ready mode doesn't seems likely as it's a PTS automatic transmission vehicle. Is there anyway to troubelshoot this scenerio? The majority of the time the remote start seems to work Ok and all the wiring connections are solid. Thanks!

2012 A4 PTS Central Locking

Remote starter works perfectly, but one complaint I have, and maybe is a setting on the unit...

I have central locking enabled, so only have to unlock the doors once and all unlock, instead of having to hit unlock twice. When I remote start the car, it locks, starts....I unlock the doors with the Fortin remote, all doors unlock due to central locking...I put my laptop bag, or backpack in the back seat, get in, drive, the doors automatically lock when the car is put in Reverse, or Drive, as usual. When I turn off the car, normally all doors unlock, but if I remote started the car, only the front doors unlock, I have to press unlock on the remote to get my bag out of the back seat.

If I didn't remote start the car, all doors unlock when I shut off the car. I have not tried to turn off central locking and see if it works just like it would be without remote starting.

No blue LED flashing during programming / Check Engine light after remote start / Grand Cherokee 2015 PTS Diesel

Tried to install Evo-All with THAR-CHR6 on my Grand Cherokee 2015 PTS.

Q1: Is it necessary to connect the Purple door pin and White-Green parking lights? I didn't because Parking lights connector hadn't a white/green but a white/grey on position 1, and on the left driver kick panel side there two harnesses with connectors with several purple cables. If Yes, what is the function of the parking light and door pin connection? Is there a way to check (upfront with multimeter) which purple cable I should connect to?

Q2: Without the two connections mentioned above I did the programming which went ok until step 10. The blue LED did not start to flash, but stayed on. I crosschecked the CAN connections which are ok.

2012 Audi A4 PTS won't start

Everything connected correctly,I assume. The only thing I couldn't tell from the diagram and the pictures is the black ignition wire behind the fuse panel. The picture from wire diagrams had the pin pointing at nothing and was no description of which harness the wire is coming from. I looked through all the harnesses and found one giant black wire, which I assume is the ignition, so I connected to it.

audi requires the key port and emergency key to be wrapped, so I wrapped 3 times around the key port and 10 times around the emergency key and have them in close proximity behind the dash

all other functions of the evo one work with the fort in RF kit, except ignition during remote start. It is an automatic, so I cut the jumper loop. The unit programmed correctly, and the remotes programmed correctly as well.

edit. I verified that the ignition cable behind the fuse panel is correct. I also tried remote start with a fob in the ignition and it worked, so it's gotta be the emergency key and key port wiring deal. I have the key port wrapped 4 times and the key wrapped 10 times. I've redone this 3 to 4 times and still can't get it to work. I verified the emergency key works in the dummy fob,and it works. I can't actually get the key port out of the car, so I'm wrapping it while it's in its harness, but pushing the wire as far as I can to the front of the key port. I'm using a solid copper 22 gauge wire.

'11 Nissan Quest PTS Evo T-Har. Stand Alone works BUT autolights stay on (despite door pin conn.) if EVO shuts car down

I am not a professional installer but am quite handy with wiring and installations of this sort. I installed the EVO-ALL with the T-Harness into my 2011 Nissan Quest (with Sliding Doors). I hooked up the 12V by splicing the wire behind the start button as instructed, as well as the parking lights and the door pin (which involved removing the entire dash and the instrument cluster.

Here's the problem:

When the car is started manually, with the lights in automatic mode (so they come on in the dark), they come on and everything behaves normally. When I go to shut the car off manually, it turns the auto headlights off after 30 seconds as it always has. All is good.

However, if I start the car with the EVO, it turns the lights on (when in auto mode) as it it should (when it's dark or the sensor is covered), but if I turn the car OFF with the EVO, the lights stay on forever after the engine stops. They never turn off and would drain the battery overnight. Interestingly, if I turn the car off manually, it reverts to working properly, turning the headlights off after 30 seconds (a time I can set through a nissan feature).

I tried to run this test in reverse - starting the car manually and shutting it off with the EVO, but the EVO does nothing to the car in this state. It must be programmed only to turn a car off that it has turned on. Is this correct?

Anyhow, I'm trying to find a way to use my automatic lights and shut the car down with the EVO without worrying about a dead battery.

Thanks,
2012 Camry PTS - Programs and reacts to remote, but won't start (EVO-ONE)

Fortin EVO-ONE, being used for OEM 3x lock functionality.

Service No: 002B05 027724

Flashlink settings look okay from what I understand.

So my current situation is this: Unit installed fine, programming went fine, but now won't start after 3x lock. When I press the lock or unlock on my OEM key, the Evo-one will blue-flash accordingly as I'm assuming it's intended, but after 3x lock, nothing happens at all. Also I seem to get a slow red flashing light from the unit (doesn't seem to come from the 3 leds on the front, seems closer to the yellow loop).

The yellow (automatic) loop IS cut, and again it does respond to the lock/unlock on the OEM remote, it just won't start with 3x lock.

I wired all the connections as described in the instructions except the Parking Light Out. I couldn't find the parking light wire harness. I complete step 1, holding the programming button while plugging in the 4 pin data-link connector. I never get to step 2 though. The blue light never becomes solid. The light pattern I see is blue, red, yellow, blue & red, and back to blue, red, yellow, blue & red.

Using flashlink, I tried the latest software version.

What EVO I need to remote start 2009 Audi Q5 Push to Start

Hello,

I have a 2009 Audi Q5 Push to Start (regular key fob, not "smart key").

All I want to do is use the factory remote to remote start the car (three "lock" button presses). I don't need any other functionality.

It looks like the EVO-One and EVO-All are both compatible. But I can't tell the real difference between these two.

For the Audi Q5 2009 PTS, which one do I need? What's the difference between the two?
