I wanted to install Evo-All on 2007 Rav4 (Euro...PTS...3-lock) But the new modules don't support older firmware (e.g. 79/65). And I couldn't program this car. The Decryptor doesn't complete (it says "Try again...Try again..."). I tried two modules, but it was the same...An hour later, I successfully installed these two modules on two 2023 Challengers...

What should I do? How can I flash version 79/65 to the new module?

Hi everyone,

I installed a remote starter on a 2011 Toyota RAV4 push start using a Compustar 930S with CM900 brain and Fortin EVO-ALL bypass module.

On the first remote start attempt, the vehicle starts normally, then shuts off after about 5–6 seconds. Immediately after shutting down, the system automatically attempts to start the vehicle again without me pressing the remote, and on this second attempt it stays running normally.

Installation and programming were completed as instructed. No fault lights, and the EVO-ALL appears to be learned properly.

Has anyone seen this behavior before on Toyota push-to-start vehicles?

hello I have installed an evo one 942 with a T harness toy14 on a 2023 toyota rav4 hybrid. It was working a couple time and during my final checks the remote starter will not start vehicle. It accepts the signal, locks and unlock vehicle but won't start or turn ignition on. when I push the start button on remote the park lights come on for a few seconds and then nothing. the red led does flash when locked and remote started. Help Please

Our 2017 RAV4 hybrid was parked for a few weeks causing the battery to run down as it has a tracker installed. All of a sudden one morning the horn faintly started to go off intermittently. There was no one around it. Is it possible that it was the Evo that’s installed in it was causing it to go off? Thinking that someone was messing with the battery? If so is it possible to disable this as it keeps going until the battery is basically completely dead. We have since charged the battery and are driving it every few days and there has been no issue since. Thanks

Yesterday i followed the steps and car was able to start with factory remote 3 lock on my 2019 RAV4 PUSH START using Toy13 Harness. Today i was planning to add Evo start and it is not following even key start option nor Evo start 2. Light is yellow/amber on evo one module. Please let me know what i am missing. Evo one serial number is 002B04 248000.

Where would I need to tap the pink/black wire from the Evo one for the hood pin switch on the interior? I believe it's on the body control module but I'm not sure which connector or wire. I would rather use the factory hood switch if possible rather than installing the aftermarket one and not have to run a wire through the firewall. Thanks

I'm going to get EVO-ONE for my 2022 Toyota RAV4 LE, H-key. In the spring I checked recommended solution: EVO-ONE and THAR-ONE-TOY12.

But now the website suggests THAR-ONE-TOY14... Which one should I get? and what's the difference?

I want to use it just with Toyota key for remote start, no separate module.

I recently installed the evo all on my 2017 rav4 push to start using the evo all and thar toy6 t harness. The module took programming but i have no remote start. The module is attempting to start but no dash lights or remote start. Followed the instructions for t harness install and programming and no luck. Also used connector A which was labeled from factory.

On DEC.8, 2021 I posted my question "H-KEY 2020 TOYOTA RAV4 LE EVO ONE WITH T-HARNESS REMOTE STARTER INSTALLED - SYSTEM MALFUNCTION" and got answer. I did what recommand to do, evnen hardwiring CAN HIGH/LOW two wires and use RAV4 CAN connector plugged in ECU, no luck.

My rav4 remote start problem more like this after a few weeks oberservation

Use OEM remote or RFK442 remote, the low fuel yellow light show up after remote started, When going in the car, key in the key cylinder and turne to ON position, press brake, key taking over. The yellow low fuel light disappear, and fuel display needle moving up to level.
After a few times remote starting, when you try another remote starting, the check engine light show up, and screen also shwing "AWD System Malfuntion. 2WD Mode Engaged, Visit you r dealer"

The CHECK ENGINE light was P2067: generic fuel level sensor "B" circuit low. I am wondering that low fuel level sensor B dosen't powered up when remote started, then ECU set the CHECK ENGINE light. I reset it by OBDII, but it keep coming. If no remote starting, RAV4 going normal by the OEM key and no warning light.

Is this could be a communication issue between EVO ONE and RAV4 ? The IGNITION signal from EVO ONE should go power up fuel level sensor B when remote starting, but it doesn't.

Any idea? Could you please look at 2020 RAV4 LE AWD(Canadian version) wiring diagram, see how.

Issues with Fortin EVO ALL on 2021 Rav4 push to start non-Hybrid

EVO-ALL firmware 79.69 push to start non-hybrid. Flashed with the recommended settings using the wizard and verified current settings: A1:A10 = on, A11 = off, A12 = on, A13:B3 = off, C1:D1 = on, D2:D5 = off, D6 = on, D7:G = off, H2 = on (for the RFK912 install). First attempt at installation, bypass was programmed successfully and 3x lock started the vehicle. Once I programmed the two RFK912 remotes, the vehicle would not turn on with the remotes. Reset the unit using master reset procedure (red light and hold until all colors flash) and reflashed the unit and ram the decryptor. Nothing worked on the second try but the unit recognizes when I press the RFK912. Vehicle starts and runs normally using the push button start. Ran through master reset, reflash, and decryptor a few times with the same results. Now I am getting a decryptor limit reached error for SN 001A07 272320. Please help - this is my second install on a RAV4 of the same year and the first install went flawlessly.

Just bought Fortin remote starter kit EVO-ONE with RFK442 THAR-ONE-TOY12 for this 2020 RAV4 LE, H-KEY. Installed yestoday, the OEM 3xlock working, fist try it remote started the car; programmed RFK 442 one remote, got remote started on first shot also, OEM key fob stay function. Good job.
Moved car to drive way from garage, double check the lock and unlock fuctions again from both OEM and RFK442 remotes. Remote started car, when driving to street showing "system malfunction".
I read those simillar questions, can't get answer.
EVO ONE bypass firmware 88.20, remote start firmware 1.25.
Please help. What should I check?

I want to verify the remote start options for the 2021 Toyota RAV4 (non-hybrid, with smart key, and without factory remote start) DOES HAVE the takeover capability? In other words, does your remote start systems keep the vehicle running when the door is opened after being remote started? Toyota's with the factory remote start have a ridiculous feature where the vehicle shuts off when a door is opened after being remote started. I am looking for a remote start system that does not shut the vehicle off when a door is opened after being remote started?

Install guide doesn't mention enabling option D4 for Hybrid mode, although the guide is specific for Hybrid. Is this an oversight, or is it not required for this vehicle?

I have EVO-ONE-Toy and a T harness. I get thru the key recognition (10 red flash) but no blue lights. I have checked my CAN high and CAN low multiple times. Any Suggestions ? Also have tried with 79.48 and 79.64. Trying to keep this simple with 3x lock to start.

HI I'm looking to install an EVO One to act as a car starter on a 2008 Rav 4, automatic transmission, no push to start, no keyless entry.

It looks like the EVO One will work as a stand alone starter, what I'm not clear on is if it will also do key take over? That is can we remote start the car with an EVO One, unlock the doors (and not have the engine shut down), slip the key in the barrel and turn it and drive off?

Or will the engine shut off as soon as we unlock and open the door?

RAV4 2005 Connector exist but no transponder at ignition key

I am doing a RAV4 2005, Regular Key, Regular EVO One instlation,wire t wire.

I founf the connector for the transponder hanging under the steering colum but there is no transponder at the ignition switch. I looked everywhere no transponder only a key sense. The car is stock and no modifiction done on it.

I pluged the tx/rx pink/red-blue on the connector but the connector dosent go any where just connected to the harness. Is it possiple this car has no transponder but the diagram is wrong.

when I programed the module I get the solid red instead of the rapidly flashing one. I tried 3 evo ones product same problem.

Could somebody explain how to make remote start on this car?

Installed following instructions. Remote is manufactured 2019.11. Tried various firmwares - from the one recommended in the instructions (79.57), and the newest version (79.64). When plugged in, blue light shines dimmely. When pushing the car-start, the ignition lights come on but doesn't crank -it tries 2 times and turns off.

I installed the EVO-ALL on a 2013 Rav 4 with push to start using the TOY6 t-harness. I made no connections other than the plug-in connectors (guide 70391). The t-harness includes a wire on A4 - this is the wire I used for a horn on my one other install (guide 12971).

Remote start works & the parking lights flash when the alarm is triggered, but there is no audible alarm. If I adjust G1 to horn instead of siren, the door locks are activated alternately as the horn would be when the alarm is triggered. Guide 8821 shows A4 is 'door status' for this car so maybe this makes sense.

What do I need to change to allow for an audible alarm?

2020Toyota Rav4 evo all with tharness remote starter stopped working - system malfunction showing

So i installed evo all with tharness on a 2020 toyota rav4 push to start(not hybrid). It was working okay for a while then customer told me today that it stopped working and the vehicle dash shows a message that says "System Malfunction. Please see manual"

any idea what is goin on? Also notice that when i remote start before when it was still working that parking light flasher 3x twice before starting. Well it starts and stops okay so i didnt bother with it.

EvoAll Regular installation without takeover. GUIDE # 83841

Programmed Flash-Link4 with latest firmware, and EvoAll updated to latest version as well.

As a first time installer, I've installed this to the best of my abilities. Here are the EXACT steps that i took;

1- (-)start/stop TO EvoAll A19

2- (-)lock TO EvoAll A20

3- (-)unlock TO EvoAll A10

4- EvoAll B4 TO (+)12V ***I didnt, but must I install a 7.5 Amp fuse???***

5- EvoAll B3 TO Ground

6- EvoAll A1 TO (+)Ignition ***I didn't but must I install a 1A Didode???***

7- (-) Steering Lock TO EvoAll D6

8- (~)Can High TO C3

9- (~)Can Low TO C4

After programming the EvoAll, 3xLock will turn on the ignition, then turn off, and make a second attempt to turn on, then off again with no engine crank at all.

AM I MISSING SOMETHING(S)???

I just completed the programming for my 2015 rav4 push to start (Automatic transmission) and car does not start after 3x lock.

Is there anything i am missing. I used T-harness Toy6 which looks fairly simple to install.

Wiring diagram shows optional wire from push connection to start button which was not clear to add.

Programmed and installed Evo-one on 2012 Tiyta Rav4 G key. The remote starts and runs fine with hitting lock on oem fob 3x. The problem is while the remote is hooked up it disables my 4x4, traction control , and cruise. I installed all updates prior to programming the module. Inserting the key in the ignition and proceeding to normal driving still has those features disabled. I unhook the remote and all is normal.

I've connected all the required wires using the toy-3 harness (I don't have TPMS so did not connect those two and I didn't connect the hood pin contact). I updated the unit using the flash link updater to the settings in the guide. I programmed the evo-one and got all the lights as per the guide, after the blue led was flashing rapidly i turned off the ignition and the evo-all stopped flashing. When i press the lock button the blue light flashes each time but the rav4 does not remote start.

2014 RAV4. EVO All. Crimestopper Cool Start RS00-G5. T-harness. I finally got this setup to work with the OEM black H-key remote with 3X Lock press. I still don’t get a parking light conformation, and the doors won’t unlock, via automatically or with the fob. The MyCar app shows battery and signal levels, and GPS location. No runtime, or remote start conformation. It only seems to start after I open the map and it is located. Then it will start, shutdown and locks require the same. I do have a Fortin flashing tool, and don’t know what else to do.

Evo all and 4105 avital remote start. 2017 toyota rav4 h-key. evo all programmed perfect, and remote starts perfect. diabled trunk option in evoall options, enabled unlock before start/lock after start. Everything works and car starts perfect. Except If i arm system with factory remote and then try to start, the car will just crank and not start. If i unlock the car with the factory remote before start the car will start everytime. even though the evo unlocks the car before start it wont work unless i do it with the factory remote first.

Remote starter wont shut off

When adding 0.50 firmware to enable Drone installation the car wont start with the remote start. It just cranks but wont start. When starting with the key, it will start but then not shut off. All dash MIL's stay lit. In order to shut off I have to initiate a start via the remote while it is still running. That shuts the car off but begins to start it again until I hit the unlock bitton.then the system disable. These episodes only arose about 5 months after the install and worked great daily. I re-flashed the unit and it works fine until i add the 0.50 firmware to enable drone install. I would like to keep the Drone add-on. What are my options?

Programmed properly with firmware version 79.31, upgraded to 79.33 with same result.

vehicle will attempt to remote start but will only crank on the first attempt. On the subsequent attempt it will start, usually the second attempt, once it took 3 tries. Crimestopper rs4-G5 remote start unit. (-) ground while running connected to remote start output.

To Whom it May Concern,

I have a 2006 toyota rav4. I have installed key override all bypass module with data link. Instructions inform me to hold the program button while inserting the 2 harnesses into the module. When i insert the black harness the led lights up solid immediatly then while still holding the program button i install the second harness and let go of the program button. The led light stays lit while i insert the vehicle key and after fully inserted i wait and the led never blinks like the instuctions say it should to prove the module has learned the key. the blue wire from the bypass module is hooked up to the negative running wire on the remote starter (compustar CS800-S). The vehilce doesnt turn over but attemps to start then shuts down for a total of 3 attempts. Is there anything else i should be aware of? Is the bypass module working properly? Any help would be appreciated. thank you.
