EVO-ONE With RFK411 Kit will not enter remote pairing mode

Good Day,

I have managed to successfully install The EVO-ONE into my 2011 Kia soul. Standard Key, With immobilizer using the T-Harness.

The Key bypass has been successfully programmed and the vehicle starts/stops normally, however, when trying to initiate the remote key pairing for the RFK411 kit, I cannot get the antenna to initiate the sequence.

When turning the ignition on/off/on the antenna light does not become blue, and if I tap the brakes 4 x, there is no flashing light either to get the unit to go into pairing mode. Have tried re-setting the Evo-one and again, they key programs fine but I cannot initiate RF pairing mode.

Thank you,

Cheers,

Remote start not working on evo one with THAR-ONE-HON5 T harness and 942rf kit

I initially was able to successfully connect my EVO one to my 2009 honda accord with the HON5 T harness. The OEM key fob worked fine starting the car (I programmed it to lock, unlock, and lock), then I went to install and pair the 942 RF kit. After pairing the 2 remotes, it was able to lock and unlock the car just fine, but when I pressed the (+) button twice to check the status of the car, it gave me the wrong status beeps (it was telling me the car was unlocked when it was actually locked). Next I tried remote starting from the 942 remotes and it wouldn't start, it would give me the green confirmation saying that it started, and then later beep/flash red that it failed to start 3 seconds later. Then i tried using the OEM fob to start (which previously worked) but didn't work as well.

Both the module and antenna are up to date. I tried fixing it by reflashing the evo one with the same settings I used in the beginning, and reconnected it to the car. I made sure all the connections were intact (including ground), and even tried reprogramming the module to the car, which seemed to be successful according to the light sequences outlined in the installation guide. Still not working after this. I also tried the master reset (https://12voltdoesit.com/uploads/docs/Fortin/EVO-ONEMasterReset.pdf - *I used the bypass side*), which didn't do anything. I removed all the connections for now while trying to resolve the issue.
Installing EVO-START-LTE on EVO One with exsiting RF Kit

Hi there,

I currently have the EVO One installed on my 2018 Ford Focus Standard Key using a T-Harness kit. Would it be possible to have the RF-912 and the EVO-START-LTE installed at the same time? According to older threads in this community I'm assuming the answer would be no, I just wanted to check to see if things may have changed in the last few years. If I'm able to use both at the same time where would I be able to purchase a subscription (US Based) for the EVO-START-LTE

Thank you

RFK-442 - Evo-all install without RFA2A

Hello. I am trying to install an EVO-All with GMT1V2 T-harness in a 2014 chevrolet cruze. (remote starter is programmed and works with OEM remote) I have an RFK-442 kit I would like to install without the RFA2A adapter. I have 12v and ground present at the datalink from the t-harness. Am I wrong to believe that the antenna kit can wired into the Datalink plug? I have wired it as such, When I plug in the antenna. the LED will light for a second. but when I follow the RF kit learning prcedure for the EVO-All. the antenna LED does not respond. Is the RFA2A really required? Thanks

RFK912 on evo all works fine and starts, but after 24 hours, the remotes will not work until fobs are reprogrammed.

I have an evo all on my 2023 tacoma PTS. Installed the unit fine and works fine with factory fob. I installed the RFK912 kit to it followed programming directions and was able to successfully program my two remotes and those remotes work fine to remote start for about a day, then they stop working. factory remote starts the truck fine but RFK912 remotes no longer work. I have to reprogram the remotes to the evo all and they start working again for about a day, then they or the unit lose programming and I have to relink again. What am I doing wrong? Units were both brand new so Im thinking the batteries should be fine. Is there a step Im missing?

EVO One RFK441 2010 Hyundai Tuscon, regular key. Remotes only work every so often.

Everything programmed correctly as per the guide, no issues there. The remotes, even though they are one way, seem like they are acting as a 2 way remote. Both remotes programmed correctly on initial setup. Sometimes one of the remotes will work correctly to lock and unlock the doors, the LED on the remote giving one initial flash, then 5 quick flashes and the function works on the car. Other times, you push the lock or unlock, and all you get is a single flash, and no response from the car. It is very random, sometimes it's one remote, sometimes it's the other. Sometimes when I pick up one of the remotes, I see the LED give a single flash, but I haven't pushed a button.

After a period of time, they both seem to start working properly to lock and unlock the car. Once that happens, you can remote start it once. Sometimes you can shut it down with the remote, sometimes you cannot. After that, neither one of the remotes will work at all. They go back to a single LED flash when the lock or unlock is pressed. Eventually one of them will start to work, then the other.........This has to be the strangest behavior I've seen from an RF remote.

How to reprogram Fortin RF 411 to new EVO-ALL

Hello,

I started having an issue 2 year after installing the evo-all unit where it would not respond using the oem remote or the Fortin 411 remote. The unit work perfectly for 2 years before this and what i noticed is that i could remove the fuse in the T-Harness and put it back in and the unit would work fine for a few days and then would stop responding again. I had a spare EVO-ALL unit laying around, so i flashed it to the vehicle, programmed it to the vehicle and then tried reprograming the previously installed Fortin 411 RF KIT to the new EVO-ALL unit and i can get the module into program mode and the light on the antenna will flash rapidly but the remotes will not re-pair to the antenna. The light on the remotes flash as normal, the lights on the antenna continue to flash and the lights on the module continue to flash waiting for the remotes to be paired. Is there any way around this or am i stuck having to get new remotes and/or RF kit?
I have followed the intruction to the letter, but the problem i run into is that to set the remote programming mode, you have to press the antenna button 5 times, hit the brake, then use a programmed remote to click the lock button (mode 1)... but I don't have a programmed remote, because it's a new install. How am I supposed to use a programmed remote to enter remote program mode when I have brand new remotes that need programmed?

I have the EVO-ONE programmed to use the antenna remote, and it is also flashed to use the OEM remote, which is working perfectly. I just want the extended range because the OEM range is NO bueno BAD.
No crank on 06 Ford Focus (Evo One and RM442 Remotes)

Using the 1 key with Decryptor method, I programmed my evo one and paired the key fobs to the antenna, but when I try to remote start, it doesn't crank. It's sending power to the ignition and the anti-theft is not blinking so I think the bypass is working, just not sure why it doesn't crank.

I should also add that the fob doesn't work to lock/unlock the doors, nor does it open the trunk. The antenna and module are clearly receiving commands but aren't able to do anything with them. I'm confused how this is supposed to work anyway, as the installation guide doesn't have me splicing lock signal wires to the module. Is it supposed to send the lock/unlock signal through the RX wire at the ignition cyclinder?

I have a basic level of experience with electronics but I'm stumped here. Thanks in advance for your help.

i.e. rf642 and rf442 or do they only work with the series number? I.e. rf642 and Rf641 will work together and rf442 and rf441 will work together? Is there a guide to which ones work together?

thanks
Evo All w/Xl202 - Do we need to enable option b2 and swap rx/tx?

2019 Chevy Express - Evo All w/ directed XL202 as the RF kit - Using the Evo ALL as alarm and RS with an existing viper FOB (and OEM remote as a backup)

I noticed an option b2 in flashlink that vague and mentions changing the input/output of the antenna for different RF kits

Does this mean we can enable this and NOT need to swap the white and blue on the data cable? Or do we leave that option alone and swap the wires? Or both?

Trying to avoid figuring this out with trial and error before my install in a couple days.

RFK442 not programming with Evo One for a 2009 RAV4 using HAR-ONE- TOY1 harness

I have programmed and installed an Evo-One using THAR-ONE- TOY1 harness in my 2009 Toyota RAV4, automatic transmission, standard key (dot key).

	Module S/N: 002B04211739, https://photos.app.goo.gl/gBSQdCrRweH1cRnC7

	Bypass Firmware: 79.49, https://photos.app.goo.gl/PbEQgYMP1RPx6PgA8

	Remote starter firmware: 1.25, https://photos.app.goo.gl/DkLyv2ttWCip77wS7

I have double checked the wiring connections, and seems everything is good.

	Image 1: https://photos.app.goo.gl/uPvX8uTQnyqcuEyU9,

	Image 2: https://photos.app.goo.gl/TH6jQ8A2BPpa6H7P9

I can start the car remotely using the OEM keys. I would like to use the RFK442. I have tried to programming/pairing the RFK442, unfortunately I could not able to proceed after steps 3, page 2 in the following RFK442 programming manual.

	https://fortin.ca/download/68451/rfk442-install-guide-68451.pdf

The problem is: at step 3, the antena LED blinks once and then goes away (but the instruction says "The LED will turn ON").

At step 4, when I press the brake paddle 4 times, the antena LED doesn't response or no rapid flashing (instruction says "The LED will flash rapidly"). It seems like the RFK442 can not communicate with the Evo One.

I appreciate if you have any suggestion to overcome this issue and complete programming the RFK442 with the Evo One.

Sometimes after remore start, when the door is opened the alarm is set off and the remote start is halted.

I tried reply Jesus at my last question, but it won't go through. so I started here.

	Hi Jesus,

The "low fuel level warning light" came on as soon as I cut the wire.

Now it is clear In my case seems like the two TPMS wires is not connected inside EVO ONE when remote started the car,

2014 Audi Q5 push button start with EVO-ALL. Remot start works with factory remote for few years. Decided to upgrade remote to RM411. During progamming on step 5 the yellow led will not light up or the antenna blue led flashing. Not sure if RF kit setting to H2 is ok, of if this matters. Tried both H1 and H2 in setting, no difference when trying to program. Firmware: 60.10

EVO ONE does not see RFK942

Good day to you.

I am having problems programming the RFK942 to the EVO ONE (installed in my 2010 Acura TL with Push-to-Start). When I connected the antenna to the module (using only the antenna cable the RF kit came with) the blue LED on the RF antenna never turned on. After several attempts, I decided to remove the EVO ONE and connect it to my computer (running Windows 10) using the Flashlink Updater (running the latest firmware). The Flashlink Updater could not detect the EVO ONE (and the EVO ONE LEDs never illuminated). I thought that perhaps the Flashlink Updater was inoperative but when I connected an EVO ALL and two RFK942s to the Updater, I discovered that the Updater is functioning properly. I just programmed the EVO ONE a week ago and had no issues then. In fact, the module remote starts the vehicle (Lock 3x on OEM key fob). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to install a RF-Kit on a 2018 F150 with a EVO-ALL standalone and THAR-FOR2? If yes how can I do it? I saw some guides that show how to wire pwr and gnd but non for the 2 remaining wire. Thanks

Compustar Pro T13

I have (and probably others) been using Compustar T11/T12-type remotes on an EVO-ONE without issue, even though this isn't an officially supported configuration.

Now Compustar has the Pro T13. I bet this would work also, but I don't feel like being the guinnea pig, but I'd certainly like to use this remote -- So, has any installer tried this yet?
