EVO-ALL RF64 -2 Remote, antana LED wont go on? WHY?

Hi again! 2019 Toyota Highlander Push-start.

So Ive been able to go through GUIDE # 70751, and everything works great. The Blue LED is on, flashes, and turns off. I go to page 7 because the remotes I have are the RF64-2W ( is this what I am supposed to do?), but step 3, when it says that the "antenna LEDs should turn on, then blink as you press the brake, turning all three LEDs on the module on." This does not occur; the module stays Yellow and the antenna doesn't turn on once the ignition is on 2X press.

What am I doing wrong? Do I go straight to the remote GUIDE # 33021? When the car is on, the remote works. Is there a step-by-step video or something? I feel like I am just missing one part.

2006 chevrolet impala using evo-all stand alone install - no lock/unlock and accessory connection

Hello all,

good day. Just wanna ask if i do the evo-all stand alone install with rf642 on this 2006 chevy impala, will the lock and unlock and accessory work through the vdata cable? Without physical connection?

i experienced this with a 2007 nissan xtrail, it has a data connection but lock/unlock doesnt work. I had to physically find and connect them. (Using. Evo-one)

thanks in advance.

RF642W - Two way communication not working

In order to have a remote with each physical key, I purchased a 2nd RF642W kit. After pairing the remotes from the 2nd kit to the vehicle the remotes work in that they are able to preform all the functions. However, they don't appear to recieve 2 way confirmation. The most annoying part of this is when I press lock/unlock on one of the 2nd kit's remotes the vehicle locks/unlocks 3x before the remote says it did not work (even though it did).

Is there a way to get the remotes from the 2nd kit to recieve the 2 way confirmations?

RF642W remote batteries dead within a week

I am having an issue with my RF642W remote. The batteries in the remote are dying within a week of being installed, even though I have tried using new batteries and changing them multiple times. The remote functions normally when the batteries have a charge, all buttons work and nothing is stuck down. The LED and chime on the remote also operate normally.

Can anyone suggest any further steps I can take to investigate this issue or is this a symptom of failing hardware?

RFK942 Remote LED

When I start my G37S which uses the RF642W remote, the RF642W remote's green LED flashes once every six seconds when the car has been started remotely. On my Q50, which has the RFK942, when the car has been started remotely the LED of the RFK942 remote flashes once every 10 seconds. My question is, is there is a way to change how often the LED on the RFK942 remote flashes? This trivial and certainly no "deal breaker" since I do preferrer the RFK942. I was just wondering.

RFK942 not working after disconnecting and reconnecting the car battery

After getting the RFK942 working I did some maintenance on the car. I disconnected the battery to perform the maintenance required and after reconnecting the battery I attempted to lock the doors with the RFK942 remote. The remote sent the signal but doors did not lock (LED turned red). I thought that perhaps the antenna needed to be reprogrammed so I attempted to perform the programming procedure again. The antenna would not program (no blue LED) so I connected it to the Flashlink Manager to see if something had been turned off. The Flashlink Manager did not recognized that the antenna was connected. From this I am gathering that the antenna was damaged when I reconnected the car battery. Is this possible? If so, what can I do to prevent this from happening again? Would a different RF kit work better (for example the RF642W)?

Can the remote start from OEM keyfob be disabled when I install an RF-Kit to my EVO remote starter?

Can the remote start from OEM keyfob be disabled when I install an RF-Kit to my EVO remote starter?

I'll be installing an RF-All 642W with my existing EVO-CHRT5 (that currently starts with the OEM 3x Lock button).

Can the OEM 3x Lock be disabled so only the remote from the RF Kit will start the car? the 3x Lock hasn't worked great for me because my wife has a bad habit of hitting the OEM lock more than one to "make sure" the car is locked.

If not, what mode would you recommend I use to minimize accidental remote starts? I think I saw Lock-Unlock-Lock, but hoping it can just be disabled.

Can the audible beeps from the FTX64-2W remotes be disabled?

Evo-all installed on a 2015 Ford F150 using the ForT3 harness and RFK642 2 way RF Kit using the RFALL. Absolutely works perfectly and has exceeded my expectations! Is there any way to disable the audible tones that play on the remote to let you know the vehicle has received the signal? I would much rather just watch the lights and not hear the remote.

If not will the Fortin RM942 Or 442 kit do this? I would love to be able to shut off the remote beeps. I've searched everywhere for the answer for about a day before asking. I do like being able to see the green light confirmation that my vehicle has received the signal and the subsequent green LED that flashes every ten seconds so I don't want to go to a 1 way kit. Thanks.

Everything is installed and working (As far as the Remote Starter Goes). When using the OEM Remotes the vehicle will lock and unlock as it always has. However, when using the RF642W remotes, The remote start works flawlessly (Push button, parking lights on, start/Crank, Run) The lock button locks the doors, but the unlock button also locks them (and does not unlock). The OEM Remote will unlock the door as normal with the remote starter running, but I would really like to not have to carry two remotes with me.
I have added these on evo-all in the past without issue by activating in the software and programming the fob’s but this evo-one is having an issue. Press the brake... this is where all goes wrong, no led flash, buttons don’t program... what am I missing?
Evo CHRT4 and RF642W

I have installed Evo CHRT4 in my Grand Caravan 2018 with OEM key and it's working great. The CHRT4 was flashed for RF. I am now trying to install RF642W using RFA2A following steps on installation guide.

As per the last step on installation guide, I did press & release (-) AND press & release (lock) on RF642w fob, but on CHRT4 it did NOT blink RED and BLUE LED, instead the RED, BLUE, YELLOW LEDs stayed solid on. The fob would sound and show green light [after I press & release (-) and press & release (lock)].

The antenna LED fast blinks (BLUE). I checked wires and everything was good. Can someone help me resolve this? Thank you in advance.

RF642W will not start 2010 Tahoe

I have a really odd problem, I installed an EVO-ALL with GMT4 T-harness in a 2010 Tahoe and added a RF642W remote kit. I can start the vehicle with 3X Lock, but not with the RF642W. I have the RF kit option H2 selected, I got the visual on the EVO-ALL and the blue blinking light on the RF antenna that my remotes got paired with the EVO-ALL, but they still do not work. just for the heck of it I changed it to option H1 and was able to start the vehicle with the lock button on the RF642W, but was unable to shut the vehicle back off. I am not sure why I can not get any reaction from the my RF642W remote with the option H2 selected. Also, this vehicle also had a factory remote start installed, I douibt that has anything to do with it but just thought I would let you know. Any ideas?

RF642W No LED

I just installed an EVO-ONE in my 2016 VW Golf GTI Push-to-Start manual transmission using the T-Harness (THAR-VW1). It was tedious, but it went well. The EVO-ONE can remote start the vehicle using the OEM remote (3x lock).

Then, I added the RF642W kit. Just plugged the black harness from the RF642W into the "data link antenna" port on the EVO-ONE. I can't get the 642 to do anything. I tried to program the remote transmitters but I cannot get the LED to come on. I don't have a valet switch installed, so I'm using the ignition on/off method. On-Off-On does not set the LED. I've just setting the ignition "on" off 3 times and starting/stopping the vehicle 3 times (the instructions assume you have a key, not push-to-start). Nothing.

	What should I do?

FORTIN FTX-64-2W REMOTES FLASHES RED

I have a simple question. I have a 2015 Toyota Rav4 with a Fortin EVO remote start which works fine. I'm just wondering when pressing the remote start button on the remote it's supposed to light up green when it communicates with the remote start showing that it was a successful start. Well the car starts with no problem, but the remote flashes red as if it didn't start. Why doesn't it ever flash green if the car starts successfully? Should I be concerned?
Thanks.
2011 Forester, RFW642 unlock button and remote confirmation

I had the evo one installed with the RF642W kit. Remote starting seems to work fine. However the unlock/lock button on the RFW642 behaves strangly. When I unlock with with the RFW642, the unlocks 3 times. Similarly locking the with the lock button locks causes the car to unlock twice. I tried changing some of the settings but didn't have any luck. OEM remote lock/unlock is fine.

Also, confirmation status on the RFW642 is not working. After sending an operation (lock, unlock, remote start), i get a red flash and a single beep. Same thing happens when i press [-] twice to get status, just a red flash a beep.

Sienna with EVO-ALL + RF642W was working - remote start function yields 6x light flash

Installed EVO-ALL and RF642W on 2015 Sienna. Everything was working perfectly for a few months including remote start via the 2-way RF extender remotes plus the 3x LOCK on factory fob.

Now if I send a remote start command, the parking lights flash 6x. This happens with both the factory fob (3X LOCK) and the RF extender remote. All other functions on the RF remote work correctly (lock, unlock, rear liftgate, and both sliding doors), which tells me that some part of the communications are reaching the van's data bus.

What does the 6x light flash represent for an error code? The install manual includes nothing on error codes.

Also, the 6x light flash - is that possible to have that originate in the RF extender or is it only possible to be a EVO-ALL related error code?

Thanks,

RF remote unlock button unlocks and then relocks doors

Installed an EVO ONE on a 2006 Nissan Armada with a Fortin rf642w RF remote. Everything is working fine except the unlock from the RF remote. Lock functions as it should (Although I can hear it lock a second time after it is already locked), but the unlock isnt working. Pressing the unlock causes it to unlock and then immidiately relock. Factory remote continues to function as it should.

Any advice would be appreciated.

2007 ES350 EvO One will not crank when remote start.

I have installed all the wiring according to Guide #19101. The module appears to successfully have programmed to the car, however, when I do the 3 button push on the factory remote it does not start the car. I have attached the rf642 and was able to successfullly program one of the remotes. When I try to start the car via the 2 way remote, the parking lights come on and it it looks like it is trying to start, however, none of the dash lights come on. The red led by the cut loop wire is blinking and after about 30 seconds it quits attempting to start. I can also hear sounds in the car as if something was activated, When it finally quits, the partking lights appear to blink 4 times, which should indicate no tach. But Im not sure what to look for in that.

And finally, the 2 way remote was controlling the locks at one point, but that has stopped and I am not able to program the second remove via the valet switch or by the ign on off on method.

Edit: I have been able to get the other remote to program and now the remotes are making calls to the bypass/RS, however, when I try to RS the car it clicks, RED LED comes on, but it does not go ignition. After it fails twice, the lights blink 4 times still. Not sure why it wouldnt be getting tach at this point.

Evo-all and Rf642w parasitic current draw specification?

Wondering what the current draw specification is for the rf642w wireless receiver, as well as evo-all?

Im seeing a 190-200ma parasitic draw at rest at the battery in my 2014 Camry. I'm measuring 75ma for the evo-all and rf642w at the fuse. I can't find specs on either so am asking here.

FTX64-2W 2-way RF Remote Doesn't Turn off after Remote Start

I am using the 2-way RF Remote (FTX64) on an EVO-One system. Things work great now, but there are times where the LED on the remote continues to flash after getting in the car and driving away.

When remote started, I get in, put the key in the ignition, step on the brakes and drive away like normal. But when this happens, most of the time, the LED continues to flash green for about 10 minutes every 30 or so seconds. It's a bit of a distraction, especially when driving at night, to try to ignore this flash.

Is there a reason the remote continues to flash? Is there a way to stop it?

RF642W and Evo One. Remote start does not work.

Last year installed Evo One with HON5 T harness in my 2014 Honda Pilot. The remote start worked great pressing the lock button 3 times on factory FOB. Fast forward to today. Installed a RF642W. Programmed 1 of the key FOBS that came with the RF642w kit. Remote start and lock/unlock doors worked fine. So programed the 2nd key FOB from kit. Now remote start does not work on either FOB or the 3X on facory FOB. Tried a program of said RF642w FOBS a few more times. Same result. No remote start, but lock/unlock works on FOB 1.) Have "valet" switch plugged into module. Used it for programming the FOBS. Left it pugged in. 2.) Have "RF Antenna" plugged into Blue plug on module. 3.) Tried H1 and H2 options under RF Antenna in module options. 4.) When attempt remote start the Honda lights flash 4 times, but no start. 5.) ITried it remote start withut valet switch plugged in - no change. Question" Is there an easy fix or should I reset module to factory options via Flash Link? Using Flask Link V2.

Accessory Slots on Evo-All/NIST1

Installed a EVO-NIST1 on a 2012 Nissan Altima along with a Fortin RF642W RF kit. Everything works great! However, I'd like to use the RF remote to open the trunk ([-] & lock) as well as turn the rear defrost on ([-] & unlock) using the accesorries slot on the EVO.

According to wirecolor.com the trunk release neg is Pin 147 on the grey BCM connector. Similarly, the rear defrost neg is Pin 19 on the green BCM connector. However, the install guide provided for the NIST1 doesn't show which wires are the auxillary outputs. Other EVO I've installed AUX 1 was the orange wire and AUX2 was the orange/black wire. Are these wires still the AUX outputs for the NIST1 or have they been disabled?

If they are enabled will I need to place anytype of resistor between the AUX output of the EVO or can I simply tap into the existing wire?

Unit: EVO-ALL

Hardware: 6

Firmware: 72.24
Trunk Button on Fortin RF642W

I have installed a Fortin MAZT1 into a 2015 Mazda 3 PTS. Everything works great, but I want to extend the range and am adding the Fortin RFALL642W 2-way RF Kit.

My only question is: if I want to use the trunk release button on the Fortin RF 2 way remote, does that now mean I have to hook up the trunk release wire from the Fortin MAZT1 to the cars trunk release wire?

If that is the case, can I get the wire color and location since my 3 days expired on wirecolor.com?

My understanding is that once I install the RF Kit, I have to reprogram the brain with the RF Externder controls.

Thanks!

I just want to know if is only for confirmation of the remote engine start / stop or also works when a sensor is trigged (or a door, hood, hatch is open) and the system is armed.

How would you program the Evo-One to work with a 2007 Toyota Tundra? The yellow light doesn't come on during ignition so that tells me that some programming may be at fault.

I've installed the Fortin Evo-One onto a 2007 Toyota Tundra. Entering programming mode using the valet button is fine; however, the remote antenna seems to not be able to receive the remote's signal and program it. Which port would this antenna go in? Everything has power and the key bypass is already programmed to the vehicle. The only program is that the antenna is not registering the remote's signals into the Evo-One.

EVO-ONE will not remote start on 2015 Nissan Armada

Using EVO-ONE bypass firmware version 72.19, t harness and RF642W 2-way remotes on 2015 Nissan Armada with Intelligent Key.

Remotes will lock/unlock and communicate with vehicle, but will not remote start vehicle. Noted during key programming that module does not operate park lights, so no park light flash code to use. Module programming, key programming, and remote programming completed, but vehicle will not start with remotes. Will make two attempts to start (can tell by driver's foot light operating), but dash lights do not come on and vehicle does not start. Occasionally, vehicle alarm will sound after first attempt (of two) to start. Module programming LED will flash after failure to remote start. Does not appear to be a flash code. While attempting to start, various module LEDs will flash on and off briefly. 2 way communication works properly (remote beeps to indicate remote start failure), and lock/unlock function of remote work normally. Query of vehicle status works normally. All wiring double checked using guide #17763. Ignition diode indicated in EVO-ONE box (rev. 20150225) installed.
