Then the car wasn&#039;t able to detect the OEM key in the car and i had removed the unit and updated the bypass module. After the update, the car no longer turns over with the remote starter. It cranks but doesn&#039;t turn over because the bypass module isn&#039;t functioning proerly and the car doesn&#039;t think there is a key in the car.<br /> <br /> &nbsp;<br /> <br /> I&#039;ve replaced the bypass unit with a new one and it still doesn&#039;t work and i get the same error.<br /> <br /> I&#039;ve reprogrammed it when i replaced it with a new unit and i&#039;ve noticed that after pressing start button twice, instead of red and blue light blinking, the red light stops blinking and only the blue light blinks continuously...<br /> <br /> what could be the possible issue? When factory alarm is set &quot;ON&quot; the remote start will start the car and then turn off imediately and the alarm goes off. I was told that I do not need option 12 selected to &quot;ON&quot; So I have not tried that with firmware 71.10. I did try it with firmware 71.11. I was also told to try firmware 71.05 but that did not work .
