regular installation (no t-harness), firmware and software update with guide standards. successful programming in last step (blue blink key on).

\this vehicle has immo delete (metal key blade starts)

now when trying to program remotes no brake input detected to perform remote programming.

performed reset and even went as so far to swap evo one units. am i using wrong firmware or hardwire brake input?

Hello, I installed a EVO-ONE stand alone on a 2023 VW Jetta GLI PTS manual transmission. I had to bring the key to my girlfriend this morning because she succeeded (unintentionally) to leave with the car that she had remote started with the OEM key (3x lock). In the past, she once forgot to bring the key, but when she pressed on the brake pedal to release the parking brake, the engine has stopped.

But this time the engine kept running, and she had no message stating that the key was not in the vehicle in the cluster.

-The module has been programmed with Flashlink manager and a Flashlink 2 on March 27th 2024 with the most recent firmware at this time.

-The battery of the sacrified key has been removed, and it has been tied far enough from the transponder antenna located on the steering column.

-The module was installed in accordance to the guide #99681.

Is there any chance that a firmware reflash could resolve this issue?

Bonjour, j'ai fait l'installation d'un EVO-ONE stand alone sur un 2023 VW Jetta GLI PTS à transmission manuelle. J'ai dû aller porter la clée de la voiture à ma conjointe ce matin parce qu'elle a réussi (sans vouloir) à partir avec l'auto qu'elle avait démarré à distance avec la clef d'origine (3x lock). Il lui avait déjà arrivé d'oublier d'apporter la clée, mais en appuyant sur le frein pour relâcher le frein de stationnement, le moteur avait arrêté.

Ce matin l'auto n'a pas arrêté et n'a pas mentionné dans le tableau de bord que la clef n'était pas dans le véhicule.

-Le module à été programmé avec Flashlink Manager et un Flashlink 2 le 27 mars 2023 avec le plus récent firmware à cette date.

-La pile de la clée d'origine qui a servi à l'installation est retirée et il est attaché suffisament loin de l'antenne de transpondeur de la colonne de direction.

-Le module a été installé en suivant le guide # 99681 à la lettre.

a-t-il possibilité qu'une mise à jour du firmware puisse corriger le problème?

I installed an EVO-ALL using the EVO-VWT1 kit on a 2015 VW Jetta Push-to-Start. The EVO-ALL does not power up when I plug in the black datalink connector from the T-Harness. It powers and programs just fine on the Flashlink programmer connector. I think the T-harness connector is bad but would appreciate some guidance on how to address this.

When I press the 3 lock sequence, the dash lights up (I had a previous problem that now brought me up to this point) but the dash says 'NO KEY'. The car starts if I get the key in the car, but not if the key is not in the car. I was wondering what could be the problem. The only item that I was wondering is that I reprogrammed (changed options) on the EVO ALL but didn't run the decript after, would this cause this issue? The car is store off site so I will drive in the morning and try this. But what other issues could this be?

I have installed a EVO ALL on a Jetta 2015 TDI (Push Start - Automatic). I have the EVO ALL, THAR-VW1 and TB-VW installed as per instructions (I decided to skip the trunk release wiring as I didn't find the feature useful for me case). The EVO All is programmed with Diesel Option enabled and it went through the Decryptor without any issues. But when I press the 3 lock sequence. It doesn't start or crank. I see the red light turns on, and then the yellow light turn on... and it repeats this procedure twice (as per the options programmed). The dash of the car doesnt come on (as expected) during the sequence. I will check the brake lights when I have time but I was wondering if there is possibly something wrong with the bypass.

I just installed the EVO-ALL with the VWT3 harness, programming went good but the vehicle doesn't start from any of the remotes, the module lights up ( red then yellow and both stay on ) and never get ignition or accessory turned on. The wiring is connected properly, I double-checked everything and tried different coding but still no result and it does not recognize the OEM remote 3 lock clicks or Lock-Unlock-Lock. I am out of ideas, only thing that comes to my mind is that my ignition switch has a different pinout, also after loading the recommended coding it started to give me a 4 RED LED blinks. I am out of ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I just installed an evo one on a Volkswagen gli push to start 2014, with a TB-VW. Everything went perfect from connection to programming, without any problems.

only until I wanted to turn it on (lock 3 times) because it does the process and turns on the dashboard lights but never gives starter. I tried to do it with the key inside the car to see if it was the immobilizer but it didn't start either.

Greetings all,

2014 VW Jetta Hybrid Push to start, buried key, used THAR - VW1 w/EVO-ALL. Checked connections 4 times over, no issues with wiring, I can affirm this vehemently. Vehicle attempts to start, fails randomly. EPC and CEL lights will illuminate on dashboard, DTC P0703 will set for a circuit malfunction. Correct pin and wire color are tapped, as I have checked this vehemently. If you push your foot on the brake and remote start, the DTC will still set. If you start the vehicle normally, the DTC will NOT set, even with everything connected the same.

The vehicle will also NOT retry starting once the ignition is on, I'm not sure why this is. It will just sit there for 15 minutes with the ignition on, but no engine on.

When this concern initially appeared, I rolled the firmware back a version and this fixed the issue temporarily. I let the vehicle rest overnight and the issue returned next day.
Does anyone have any info on this? Please let me know, thank you.

Remote start only works after you open and close the door

The evo all wouldn't program to the car with the newest firmware, so you guys had me try firmware 4 20. It let me program it after that, but it only works after the door opens and closes. If the car sits it will only lock on the first of the 3 locks then no buttons on the fob work for a minute or so. When I unhook the evo all the fob works fine. 2011 jetta with standard key sn:001A07367332

I installed Evo-All on a 2014 Jetta (standalone).

001A07363467. By pressing 3 times, the engine starts, but the factory remote control does not close the door or open it. It extinguishes by extinguishing, but the pauses between presses should not be less than 2 seconds. The blue LED flashes erratically between presses.

Followed guide 65301. Rechecked wiring everything looks good . Used TBVW. Harness tharvw1. Blue LED flashes with each lock button press. Vehicle does not try to start. Red Led flashes 3 times. Disabled all non essential options on module (hood pin, a6, hand brake, doors, trunk). Anyone have any ideas?

According to page 4 of guide # 70161, the clutch bypass (pin A5) is located in the white connecter on pin 51 adjacent to the CAN connections. On my vehicle, there is no wire on pin 51. Additionally, I did check the other BCM connector and there is no wire on pin 51 there either. Where do I connect wire A5?

i used tbVW with evo-all and it programmed properly but works sometimes and others it doesnt. I cut the green wires short as i could and even twisted the pair together. Is it more acurate to connect closer to key cylinder than down the column? and tips would be helpfull thanks

Hello, I installed the evo all on a 2015 jetta with push to start - remote starts functions, but this vehicle does not have the accesory mode, so when i push on the pts(engine start) button the car shuts off. for example i also instaleed the evo all on an infiniti with push to start but that one has the accesory and then the run mode. Is there a way to fix this or its just something that i will have to deal with. I can still get the car to warm up, but i cant just hop in and go, i have to start the car again.

2011 Jetta defroster connection to EVO-ONE

I plan to purchase an EVO-ONE & TB-VW for a 2011 VW Jetta S standard key and self-install it using the "regular install NO KEY REQUIRED" (Guide # 61511). My goal is to activate electric rear window and side mirror defrosters upon remote start.

Are additional wiring diagrams available from Fortin/wirecolor.com showing the rear window and outside mirror defrost circuit connections (these may be separate circuits) for this vehicle?

Per prior Fortin response to a prior question: the EVO-ONE has an analog AUX output can be set to automatically activate when temperatures are below 5C.

Is that AUX output signal though terminal A13(yellow/black)?
Is there an additional input connection to make for the vehicle's thermocouple?
IF the rear window and outside mirror defrosters are separate circuits, does the EVO-ONE have an AUX2 that will serve the same function?

Regarding the THAR-VW3 harness; would using the THAR-VW3 for this install still allow the AUX/AUX2 functions described above or make them easier to achieve compared to the "regular install NO KEY REQUIRED" method?

I just installed the EVO-ALL with THAR-VW1 & TB-VW (using factory fob to start) in my 2017 Jetta GLI push start and it's working fine. The heated seat option is set to on, but it's not working and outside temp is 31* farenheit.

Is this option supported for my vehicle?

Please help. Evo one on a 2019 vw Jetta up to 08-2018. I get to step 8 it the unit is not programming it flashes slow red. Followed support steps to check settings, open close door, start car and even master reset using valet 23 times... it still flashes slow red every time I try to program it.

it's a manual transmission so I added the check parking brake.

Evo-one followed everything on page 5 for wiring and programming procedures.

System programmed properly I think key décrypter worked and all, but when I try to lock unlock lock to start it, it makes my lights flash 3 times and it doesn't start.

I've looked in the setting with the flash link updater and lock and unlock settings are turned on. Is there something else I could be doing wrong that the 642 remote won't lock and unlock the car?

2015 Jetta Push To Start can't operate door looks with RF-KIT 642W

I just installed an EVO-All with Crimestopper RF-KIT 642W using a T-Harness in my 2015 Jetta TDI with Push to Start.

The factory fob still works and can remote start by pressing lock 3 times.

The 642w fob can only remote start and remote stop the car. It has no control over the door locks or trunk.

When I press the lock or unlock button on the 642w fob I see the blue led on the EVO-All come on slightly.

What am I missing?

Please clarify how we proceed to read a VW original key with wire around it and connected to the evo-one 6 pin port.

Do we have to remove the battery?

Do we have to connect all the wires to the car before we proceed to read the key and get a blue constant light.

Your picture shows evo-one with only one 6 pin harness connected at the reset is this correct?.

Is it possible to get pictures of installation for Jetta 2005.5 so I can wire the car properly.

I have defficulty choosing installation for the Jetta 2005.5 evo-one connections and pictures.

To get to the tranponder wires and cut one of them do I have to remove the steering wheel or is any other location.

Plese answer my questions so I can proceed to install evo-one without issues.

During programming at step #7 only the red LED flashes 6 times in a row/stops/starts again, not blue/red/yellow alternating as stated. I'm using TB-VW. Using guide #63221 for wiring/programming. All connections are solder and doubled checked wiring for errors. Using firmware 75.[35], hardware 6.0. CanBus Orange wires measure 2.5 volts. Yellow ignition wire has 12 volts minimum.

I am looking at purchasing the ONLY bypass module in the world that doesnt require a key wrap provided by Fortin. I see there is a beta firmware for this. Is the firmware available for us to use or is this still under development?

Also I'm looking at all of the options to get the best experience with your products. I need at least an Evo-All and a TB-VW. I could purchase an EVO-One and get the keyfobs but it seems more economical to purchase my own remote start and use the Evo-one. I see some people have used DEI products with fortin, is Audiovox/Code Alarm compatable as well? Thanks for the help, Look forward to becoming a customer.

Transponder Bypass Programming

Installed an Evo-All, with t-harness and tb-vw transponder bypass in a 2011 VW Jetta. I am getting stuck at step 7 where the Evo-All is supposed to alternate flash the 3 led's, but all I get is the red led flashing 3 times. I have tried mul;tiple times to program and have let it sit for upwards of 30 minutes, but the results are always the same at this point of the programming.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Installing an Evo-All, Thar-VW3 t-harness and tb-vw transponder bypass in a 2011 vw jetta with a standard key. After installing I am getting stuck at step 7, the key bypass programming. I am installing an Evo-All with a T-Harness and a bypass transponder in a 2011 VW Jetta with a standard key. The directions are stating to install a diode if the vehicle requires push brake to start. My vehicle does require this feature and I am trying tio understand how the diode is wired. The T-Harness directions are the only directions that show a diode in this circuit. Is the diode wired in series of the D2 wire (yellow/blue) at the Evo-all and the T-Harness? Is the T-Harness bypassed on this circuit and the diode is installed in series directly from the D2 wire (yellow/blue) to the BCM B3 (Black/Red)?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, so after a few attempts at programming an evo all for a volkswagon jetta with no luck, i have managed to not be able to program the evo all using the dcryptor, i get a message saying " dcryptor limite has been reached for this car. ", basically its telling me that after a number of tries it will no longer send the info to the module. Is there a way of resetting this?

Installing a remote starter in 2014 jetta. The brake must be pressed when starting the car. What would be the relay setup so remote starter activates brake wire but does not shut down the brake input wire to the rem starter.

I am installing a Polar Start PS-4661TW-FM RS in a 06 Jetta TDI. I have not had any luck with idatalink reading the valet key. I am looking at getting the EVO-ALL to use instead. Am I able to use the TB-BOX with this setup? Thanks.
