Flashing limit

Nice to meet you. Can you help me?

I have four AX-ONEs, but I've never installed them in my car. I'm trying to install them in my Golf MK7.5R, and when I try to update the firmware, it says the limit has been exceeded. I've tried all four.

I'm having the same problem; I can't update the firmware.

Is it because I updated the flash manager?

Is it because it's an older model?

If possible, could you please disable it?

AX-ONE is module branded and sold via a third party. These units are discontinued for a few years now and cannot be flashed.

For a 2019 Golf R, these hardwares would also be incompatible anyway as the require newer hardware to accept the firmware.

My question has been answered.

I'm going to throw away my AX-ONE and AX-ALL.

I'll use the new EVO-ALL and EVO-ONE I have now.

Just to confirm.

Is this also true for the EVO-ALL?

Older models cannot be updated with the firmware.

The older EVO-ALL models are no longer usable, right?

After 5 years it is highly possible that a unit may not allow updates.
