I have reset the flash limit for you.

Make sure when programming nothing is plugged into the OBDII port.

Also just as a suggestion, if any type of quick connect was used such as a t-tap or posi tap, remove it and make a proper spliced connection to the vehicles wire.

Some vehicels can take roughly 30 minutes, usually Nissan's.

Otherwise if it takes over 45 minutes simply disconnect the unit and start over.

Yes, the solution is to re program the module using the remote that is not detected. Once that is done both should work for remote start.

This is a new install. Had the new parts for 3 years and now decided to install. The blue & white wire are cut off. Data link is not being used.

I did unplug connector 2 of the int-sl. Doors stayed locked over night.

I am now testing with lock/unlock wires between prestige and int-sl disconnected. Note. I have 2 prestige remote boxes. It does this with both. I removed the entire system last week and have had no problems back to factory original. I reinstalled everything but this time connected the parking light control to BCM instead of int-sl. Fortin help page recommended this if strange were happening. This did not help.

Looks like Prestige may be acting up. I will try the second unit again

Do not touch optoin a14 in the evo-all, leave it off.

If you want parking lights, as mentioned manually connect the wire.

A few things you can try/check:
Make sure option A7 is off in the bypass and that the foot brake has been hardwired.

Once that is done flash the remote starter to 0.99.

Plug the power and ground from the truck back into the evo one for 30 seconds

Return to the PC and flash firmware 1.26 back into the remote starter.

From there return to the truck and re attempt remote pairing procedure.

rf6442w with evo one,remote program,red light under the yellow loop blinks red rapidly,

EVO one with RF6442w 06 duramax, goes thru the process of horn honking using the valet button, horn honks once to enter into program mode the light comes on steady under the yellow loop or the 4th led light, then it honks 5 more times and on the 5th honk it double honks really fast, i would assume to say hey im in program mode 5, then the 4led under yellow loop blinks red very rapidly and the blue LED does not come on the antenna, other weird thing is it won't connect to the flash link, so i can't go in and do a bug view, or look at the settings.. Talking with Robert today and he was saying the 4Th led should be on yellow to state in program mode. unless i misunderstood him

I know you've likely gotten your starter working, but for others having a similar issue, here's what I found. I've got the exact same truck, 2018, but same thing. Mine wasn't starting either, and when I read this, I went to check to see if I had blue and red lights, mine was a blue light every other lock press, so I had to press it 6 times, and it would start. Then after that happening the first time, it worked like it should and only requiring 3 lock presses from the remote fob. No idea why it did that or what the issue was, but its working properly now, we'll see what happens over the next few weeks/months, but I'm hoping it was a fluke.

- evo-start-lte is 12-13 mA when active and is 8 mA once in sleep mode, sleep mode happens after 10 minutes of inactivity.

- evo-one is 13 mA (+/- 2mA)

- evo-all is 7 mA (+/- 2mA)

Hello,

That is an int-sl, it is part of a remote startre module set up. It is there to replicate the chip in the key to allow remote start but it does not start the vehicle itself. There is a 2nd module under your dash, that would be the remote starter, it would take ts own remotes as well.

This int-sl is not a tracking module of any sort and has no gps function.

Hi! I programmed the EVO ONE number of times, went through the decryptor process with success, yet, the car won't even try to start unless the key is in the car. checked my wiring over and over again, yet, can't find any info on the subject in the previously asked questions. Is the decryptor failling miserably, or the evo one I'm using is defective. Currently going crazy over here. help?

Ok, that may resolve the evo controlling the horn but why would the evo completely disable the factory alarm? It can disarm/arm it via CAN but it cannot trigger it?

The TBGM2 is 1 time programming. It cannot be reprogrammed. Another TB-GM2 would be needed and reprogrammed (not the entire remote start system). Only reason the TBGM2 would need to be changed is if new keys were ever added to the car or if the BCM or any other major component in the car had to be replaced or reprogrammed previously.

Another thing to check is the antenna ring itself. It needs to be tested for continuity ensuring the wire or ring is not cracked.

It also important to test that the remote starter is activating the TBGM2 upon remote start.

There could be other reason, this is dependant on the installation type...

I acutally checked the settings and they are selected. I added the RF kit to my 2008 with no issue but this newer truck is a bit "smarter" than my older one.

Do this car at your own risk, test wires first.

I've done this car with fortin. Sometimes fortin models can do a lot of cars that are not menioned in the list, I've done Subarus, Jeep and GMC as well,

flash to 70.[41].

locate the

can green wire,
push start blue/green (1k ohm resister in series)
immo green/purple,
purple black for ignition,
brake blue/yellow,
and 1v2+.

For any GM that the vehicle shuts off when the key is inserted, this is due to vehicle not getting powered correctly at the ignition switch (ignition circuit). This is either a connection issue or the dlis fuse is popped.

Please open a new thread and include vehicle make, model, year along with the products installed including the service number of the evo module for further troubleshooting.

You will need 1 key to program and the flash link updater to complete the porgramming.

Nothing extra needed aside from the harness.

Here are 2 things to check.

Put oem harness back and see if starts.
Check fuse labeled DLIS or discreet logic ignition switch. 2-5 A fuse

Looking at the history of the unit, this module has been re used on multple vehicles.

I would suggest next trying a different module to see if its related to the used unit.

70.18 is the go to firmware on J1850 databus GM vehicles. If 4.06 is available for your module, you can always try it but 70.18 is the "same" thing.

If the voltage on the J1850 is under 2Vdc, that would be one reason programming is failing.

You can also try grounding the EVO-ALL and your remote starter to PIN 4 of the OBD connector instead of using a chasis ground.

The evo can be re used as long as it is not older than 5 years, but it would require you to get either a GMT4 harness or purhcase a generic harness and hardwire it into the truck.
