If I push the stop/start when ready mode is engaged, it give me a keyless system error, that doesn't go away until I restart the car twice.

The proper method is like what I mentionned. The module takes care of pressing the PTS to shut down the car down.

1- Press on the brake
2- Engage the e-brake
3- Release the brake
4- Open a door and step out the car (with the key)

5a- Close door, remote starter shuts down and shuts down vehicle.

5b- The unit can be programmed to shut the car down on LOCK instead of door close but this typically requires using aftermarket remotes and not the factory remote.

I guess what I'm asking is, is there a way to set OEM priority on the lock/unlock, and disable that from the remote start unit?

By defeault a remote starter will always send a re-arm after remote start shut down simply to make sure the vehicle is armed.

At the moment, your unit has option D5 enabled which will also force a relock/rearm on shutdown. You can turn this off.

If the OEM remote does not work while remote started you will wanna take a look at your lock & unlock connections. These are how the doors get controlled while remote started. Page 3:

Please note some vehicles may not be equipped with a steering lock module, if this is the case simply do not connect the steering lock connector.

What module are you installing and what is the S/N number on the back of the module?

The number you have provided does not come back to any Fortin module.

Please note 3x lock start from the OEM remote is not supported with evo-all or evo-one on a 2005 honda crv.

If it does the same thing with the key in the barrel then the Immobiliser is not the issue. Somethinhg else is causing your remote starter to shut down.

The module will not remote start nor allow remote pairing when in vlaet mode.

I would make sure the yellow loop has been cut (automatic transmission) also ensure the unit is not in valet mode (red led on solid underneath the yellow loop).

If neither of those apply I would suggest calling into the tech line with the vehicle and module on hand so an agent can go over the functionality with you.

It’s been a while as I have since learned to live with it. The only way Ive found to bypass it is to engage the parking brake without pressing the service brake. It’s sketchy as I have to make sure I won’t roll, but it’s my only option. As for your previous comment, I did release the electronic parking brake but it will still continue to shut off the car as ready mode has already been activated. Even if i’m driving away. Any updates?

Hi,

I installed a EVO ONE Kit with RF912 remotes. I tested all connections via multimeter from BCM to Fortin harness. I programmed the remotes, and was able to use DECRYPTER. I am able to get the car in manual ready mode. Parking lights come on and car shuts down upon door closing. Upon calling for remote start, the dashboard lights up, displays "Smart Entry System Problem" (yes I know that is normal for these cars). The parking lights sometimes flash twice other times there is no flash and it just does nothing. The Evo one flashes Blue/Red, then Yellow/Red, the off and repeat for another cycle. No crank.

I have reflashed, disabled A11, no change. I have also attempted to sit in the car holding the clutch down incase the clutch bypass was not working but that did not seem to do anything at all.

Please let me know next steps and what else I should try.

They don’t all have them I learned. I was thinking that was the problem but it does crank but not start. I did it exactly step by step in every way. I’m just going to bring it and have a Compustar one installed. I give up on this one. Or just use the OEM start system.

No unfortunatly not. The evo one at rest would draw to much current for the vehicle to be able to handle. You would be best with an analog remote starter of your choosing and a honda sl3 for the bypass module.

Also ensure you flash link updater software is kept up to date.

Normally when turning on/off optinos as long as you click save options and do not flash the unit, it should not need re programming.

Did you try checking the batteries? I believe most but not all Fortin remotes use a 3v battery and can be easily checked with a multimeter.

If the vehicle is standard key, It should be a green/yellow wire in a white 20 pin connector on the steering column. It should be negative. Test before connecting.
