Perform a parastic draw test as well as a battery load test.

The evo-one itself at rest draws 13 mA (+/-2 mA)

If its a fortin rf kit the antenna will draw 5 mA (+/- 2 mA)

So combined it will draw 18 mA (+/-) 2 mA

The car itself will also have a draw spec you will need to look up on a site like all data or mitchel.

If the evo-all flashed with 70.18 does not bypass the passlock system in this vehicle then the next best thing to try would be the Passlock SL2 V2 and a full remote starter system.

The evo-one does not cover hand brake through data. So that being said what wire have you used for the hand brake connection?

If you are talking about the ( - ) ground while running from the evo-all...you will need to refer to your alarm/remote starter manual. They may call it a negative out while running or a ( - ) status while running.

Our units are not designed to replace/fix/permanently bypass oem passlock systems, and require a 100%working passlock system to properly program itself.

There were 3 different Hummer models available from 2007 to 2008, please specify what model/year you are working on.

Intermittent no-start passlock issues can only be fixed properly by replacing the defective module after an electrician has identified which module is causing the issue. (passlock module at the steering column, or the BCM, or wiring etc...)

Even though it may not have the Passkey system, all gm have the Passlock. Connection 8 program 3 should still work. The EVO-ALL needs to be flashed to firmware 4.06.

Our modules are used for remote starting purposes and are only tested for that.

Hi Emanuel,

If what you are describing is that you are having issues with the OEM passlock system not letting you start with your OEM keys. then no, our product is not designed to replace or fix existing oem passlock issues. You will need to have your vehicle serviced and the Passlock system repaired or replaced.

Both modules offer the same features for that vehicle. Really up to you at that point.

If you plan on using datalink with a remote starter that does not have 2-way datalink with Fortin Protocol, you would actually want the EVO-ALL. Both units though will work no problem in a wire-to-wire setup.
