Sounds like the evo start lte was not paired to the evo-all. Also make sure option H2 was enabled in the evo-all for the evo start lte.

My Evo all. Keeps going to red on the last step. When programming is. My Evo's supposed to be in. Bypass connection mode or remote starter connection mode.

your flash limit is reset.

Note that 0.99 is only for when the unit is stuck on red. Meaning even at step 1 of programming, the leds never alternate and the red led is always on.

Please update back to 74.39, make sure settings protection is OFF and click save. From there reset the module and then attempt to reprogram. To reset the module follow this procedure.

-> Release on RED

-> Press and hold until all 3 leds alternate.

After the reset, make sure enable required options for whicher way/setup you are using (i.e. stand alone vs regular install, datalink vs wire-to-wire)

Got it all wired up and it works. For anyone looking to do this its a lot easier to access the wires for the clutch switch if you remove the horn, and relays above it. Then to unplug the connector from the clutch master find a small flat blade screwdriver and push it in between the side of the jeep and connectorand turn a little to press the release. You will see what I mean when you get in there.

That does not make any sense. I have these modules on stock, can not return back as
these were purchased some time ago as a bulk order with other items
I have 4 of these, new, unused. When it worked before, it should work now.
I do not see any reason why it should not work and be configured.
There must be some way how to do it. Older version or similar
The same goes for already installed modules. What if these need to be reconfigured or
some options changed?

Or do you want to say that I paid for someting and Fortin turned it into a pile of junk?

Has anyone found a fix for this issue? I have followed all the instructions above along with turning off bitlocker on windows 11. I cannot get the Flashlink to work. I keep getting the message "The PC is unable to detect the flash link updater through the usb port. There are several things that can cause this to occur"

The evo key is not supported for that vehicle.

Also Fortin does not make any modules that will fix or replace the oem SKIM module.

- No, the evo-one will only support lock 3x or lock unlock lock from the oem remote as a starting sequence. Oem remotes will not interface with an aftermarket antenna.

So ignition, wouldnt match in the guide, but what about if i used it as a standalone. And left the transponder key in the ignition, or got one of those boxes that holds the key and sends the signal?

This happens when the module is not flashed.

You must flash and configure the evo-all prior to in vehicle programming. This is done using the flash link updater.

Couple of unit options are missing.

Option D1 - Stand Alone Remote Starter
Option H and H2 - Fortin2 supported RFKIT (assuming you are using a Fortin RF-KIT)

When flashing via the Wizard Mode, select "Stand Alone Remote Starter" under system setup and be sure to select an RF-KIT. The module and remotes may need to be reprogrammed afterwards.

It exceeds the 5 year flash limit. Once 5 years have passed, the flash link software will not allow any changes to a module. This unit from 2013 would fall into that category.

The Dcryptor is not relevant to the flash limit. It will be reset within 24 hrs.

That is done via the drk.blue wire and wiring in a valet swtich,

When the evo-chrt5 is used in stand alone for 3x lock start, if the dark blue wire is grounded, then the remote starter will not function, remove the ground and it will function.

This is shown in the wiring diagram for the vehicle (page 3).

The evo all does not support manual transmission vehicles in stand alone as stated on the fortin.ca website.

You would either need an evo-one in order to do remote start on a manual tranmission vehicle or a remote starter capable of handling manual transmission vehicles with the evo all being used soley as a bypass.

Yep it sure does! When the Red and Yellow become solid I see 12v at Yellow/Red cable with a 20mv drop early for a few seconds 2 maybe 3 (Glow Plugs drop voltage from 13.1 to 12.9) so I am assuming that some sequence is starting!

2006 Commander prior owner and now have a 2008 Commander with the FOBIK key.

For the 2008 model. Removed the pull down cover under the steering wheel, and remove that. You can then look up and see the Ignition module ( big black plastic box). On the back you will (squeeze) the top of the clip lever downwards to release the clip and then pull the clip/connector out.

***That connector you removed is the "Ignition out". You need to cut the yellow wire on the connector ( it is on the top row and the 3rd spot over) there are 2 so make sure you cut the solid yellow wire from the connector in half. .

Now you have two/halves( split the yellow wire). The yellow wire half that is attached to the connector you removed from the back of the ignition is the ignition wire. That yellow wire will be connected to the Yellow/Green wire with the (red) connector. That is bringing the ignition signal into the Fortin.

The 20 pin ( white connector on the opposite side of the Fortin unit) has a solid yellow wire in their schematic it is listed as "A1". That A1/Yellow wire will carry the signal out of the fortin so you need to connect that A1 Yellow wire to the other half of the yellow wire you cut. ( carry the signal from the fortin to the vehicle to start).

Mine came wired, but was wired incorrectly. ( anyone can have a bad moring etc). Mine would not program, the blue light would stay solid. And if i pressed the (reset) button the light would go out and the car would try to start, but then die, as the immobilizer would cut it out beacuse the module was not being programmed.

I connected my two wires ( as described above). Followed the instructions, Plug into black 4 pin power and while holding button and release on blue. Then the rest (20 pin, 5, pin and red 6 pin connectors). I put in the key, the module started to flash, I turn the key off, and it flashed again , I hit the lock button and it was done.

3 locks and the engine started up and ran...

The 2021 jeep Wrangler i see you wanted to flash it for also requires the hw7 modules and not the hw6.

5x flash means the module detects a hood open. Possibly caused by a faulty hood switch or the hood input wire of the evo is receving a ground signal.
