Hardware 2 is required, hardware 4 will not work.

The version required is 71.28 and it only exists on hardware 2.

Yes in that case simply hardwire the door locks from the viper to the vehicle. You may also need to hardwire trunk release if it is not working through data.

Hello,

If the door locks do not work over data then there wouldn't be much for you to try since this vehicle is not supported and the evo-all in stand alone does not have any analog door lock outputs.

You could go with an evo-one module, it has analog door lock ouputs, you could then hardwire the door locks from the module to the vehicle.

Hello,

In that case I would suggest sticking with 0.57 since that allows it to remote start, but you will have to hardwire the door locks and trunk if you want them to work from the app.

Lock: at BCM/Dash fuse box, Black 26 pin connector, Pin 6 - Blue

Unlock: at BCM/Dash fuse box, Black 26 pin connector, Pin 8 - Yellow

Power liftgate: at power liftgate switch, black 6 pin connector pin 6 - grey/yellow

You may also need to enable option 35.2 or 35.3 for it to dis arm the vehicles oem alarm when sending unlock from the app.

We did try to hook up red/blue to crank and still nothing. The theft light does rapidly blink as soon as ignition is turned on so vehicle is not detecting a transponder key so bypass is not working even after getting 10 rapid red blinks and then all lights off. Have even tried another EVOALL and same exact stuff.

If that is the case then your viper system is not capable of dis arming the oem alarm.

I would suggest contacting viper, perhaps they have a suggestion or feature they can suggest.

You can use orange/black or the large white wire on the main 6 pin connector if it is not used in the installation.

Option 12 in the remote starter is how you configure what wire youll be using and how it will react.

You would also need to connect any additional wires from the viper unit to the vehicle for the alarm features/functions.

Was an answer ever figured out for this issue? I am running into nearly the same problem. Remote start works with the key held near the barrel, but neither decriptor nor using the two key method will program the bypass. During remote start the security light flashes and it will not start.

If the light is solid red this nomrally means one of 2 things:

1- Module firmware is corrupt. Try flashing a different version.

2- Moudle has been damaged.

It had 0 volts so obviously it is not detecting the brake pedal press, so I ended up running a wire from the remote starter to the brake pedal.

There is no turbo timer in EVOALL, EVOONE is the module you need.

Yes, make sure the RS1-G5 is 3x lock compatible. The EVOALL will set the lock command to it but it must be setup to respond to the 3x lock.

The EVOONE could be use in conjuntion with a REVO rf kit to achieve the same result in a much simpler way.

As for the RAP, whats the deal there? Should I not see a change in state between the GRN/WHI and GRN/RED wires after shutdown?

In the MKX with heated and cooled seats the control is CANBUS. Any possibility of having that added to the software?

It "programmed" but wouldn't remote start. I spoke with tech support on the phone (Martin Miller) and he said that there were notes of the same vehicle with the same issue, the installer used a key-override-all and that solved the issue. I swapped out the evo-all for a key-override-all and that worked for me as well. I think the website should be updated so that the 2010 Lincoln MKX only shows compatibility with key-override-all at least until the issues with this particular vehicle are sorted out with the evo-all and evo-ride. It cost me 8 hours in labor to troubleshoot this issue, as well as having a locksmith reset the immobilizer system ($80).

You will also need a compatible RF kit to start the vehicle. You will have an additionnal remote since your vehicle can not be started with the factory remote.

The install only shows remote start...If you want keyless entry as well you would have to hook it up from the evo to the car.

No t-harness are available for your vehicle. You will have to tap on wires. Professional installation is highly recommended.

The EVOONE would be the best solution for your vehicle, you will also need a seperate RF kit to start the vehicle. You will also need the Flashlink Updater 2.

The vehicle can always be started with the key after the installation.

Professionnal installation is highly recommended.

Im instaling an EVO ONE and DR3400 on a 2004 Lincoln Town Car.I have done the wire switch in the plug but Im having problems with the Flashing. I cant get it woring with the Evo One. Maibe some one can help me how to flash it corectly in order to work.

Just a question have you tried updating the module to the newest firmware (71.35), re program and DCrypt then see if it remote starts?

Also just as a suggestion try maybe enabling diesle mode in the remote starter? This way it will have a slight delay before starting maybe its a timing issue and doing this would give it the extra few seconds it needs...

Seems as though you flashed the remote start side of the evo-one with the bypass firmware.

Might be worth while re flashing both sides correctly and re programming the module in the vehicle.

What remote starter are you using?

Does the red led turn on before ignition turns on in the vehicle when remote starting?

If it does not, please connect the dark blue wire of the evo-all (-)ground when running wire to the vehicle's ground. the red led should light up, if it does, try to remote start. if it starts, then there is a timing issue with your remote starter's ground out when running wire.

Please advise if you can remote start the vehicle with the dark blue wire of the evo-all grounded.

The wires can be found in the harness between the driver door and the vehicle but will require some tricky finger work.

At the smart juntion box, the lock and unlock wire would be in the top left black connector (more towards the firewall). The cover of the connector is grey.

Lock - White/Brown
unlock - Blue/Brown
Lock & Arm - Yellow/Green and Purple/Blue (must pulse at same time, use diodes to isolate wires)

I follow programming proceedure 2. I install the first key for 3 seconds and the yellow light comes on. I remove it and install the 2nd key and then the red light flashes once. Then I remove it and press the program button and the red light flashes once quickly/weakly. I use the remote start which powers the accessory wire but never get the red light 10 flashing times. The red light just stays on. Can you tell me why the programming is no working?

Hi,

Try programming your remote starter to unlock the doors before remote start and relocking after start. This will disarm the factory alarm by unlocking the doors allowing the remote starter to start the vehicle. After it has started it will relock the doors. Use firmware v.4.18. Where did you connect your doorlocks? Did you connect arm/disarm? Are you in Data-link or hard wired?

That should be the same vehicle. The Navigator L and Navigator L Limosine are the same generation as the Navigator.
