Hello,

Dcryptor is done using the flash link manager program, you need to connect the evo-all or evo-one module to the flash link updater (sold separately) and then click the dcryptor tab and click on "send data", from there simply wait it will tell you when it is finished and ready for use.

I have a 21 promaster city discovered i have an activation code from my evo one purchase. I try to access the information but whenever I input the cos and click continue I get an orange bar saying the information is locked and to use an activation code or subscription.

Try restarting your PC, I just tried it on my personal PC and it is working at the moment.

If you are not able to get the PC to detect the flash link you would need to contact your point of purchase for exchange/replacement.

You would need the following parts for remote start using the OEM remote on a 2014 Ram 1500 tip key automatic transmission:

1- evo-chrt7

2- flash link updater

The RFK942 is compatible with the evo-chrt7 and plugs into the chrt7 t-harness. It will provide more range than the OEM remote.

Even with the t-harness manual connections are required to the vehicles exisiting wiring.

If a door is detected as open prior to remote start, take over will not work and the vehicle will shut down after pressing the brake.

If a connection is done to the driver door pin, remove it, then try the remote start.

What is the 12 digit service number of the module (s/n) of the evo-all?

If you simply put a ground to the dark blue (A8) wire on the evo-all and then attempt remote start, does the vehicle remote start?

Now that I’m home I was able to check what I have. And the module is 02/17. And the t-harness is a CHRT6. So I’m going with, I should be fine. Just need to reflash the module for the new truck and do the key.

Yes even when using the CHRT7 t-harness you would still need to splice into the factory wiring, on this vehicle in particular it would be at the BCM for the igniton connection shown in the installation guide page 6:

When you are logged into the flash link manager program, in pro mode on the left hand side of the screen their is a tab that says dcryptor, click that, then click send data.

The evo-can has no stand alone capabilities.

It does not require a flash as it is pre loaded.

Adding a PTS system on a key start Dodge/Jeep/etc may be more of a head ache than anything else since the ignition switch is not a standard ignition switch with accessory, ignition and starter wires. It's all through data.

If you look at the EVO-ALL stand alone guide, you will notice some wires tagged as lock, unlock and external trigger. Those are inputs that can be used to tell the unit to lock, unlock, or remote start. https://fortin.ca/download/94301/EVO-ALL_IG_RTS-WIN_Challenger-RAM-Routan_2011_A_94301.pdf

Depending on the age of the unit you may just be able to add the lte module for phone control.

If you provide the s/n number on the back of the module I can advise you wether or not you can use the existing hardware or if a new module would be required.

That sounds like you have an EVO-ALL. The EVO-ALL cannot be used on manual transmission vehicles as a stand alone remote starter. EVO-ONE is required.

Or if you see white as trunk status, it could just be you may be looking at the wrong guide.

I have a 2012 Ram 2500 Diesel that I want to intall a remote start in using 3X lock function.

Im going to use an evo one but I saw on the forum there is an additional clutch wire that needs to be installed? also it has to be programmed to manual mode and a sequence has to be followed in order to put it in ready mode.

Is there any documenation covering the additional clutch bypass wiring because it is not mentioned in the installation manual of the truck.

Will putting it in ready mode need me to press the lock button 3x instead of just one because I wont have an rf kit installed?

Any other relevant information that is different from a automatic transmission install would be helpful as well.

Sounds like your can bus connector is pinned incorectly.

You can refer to this guide (page 5) to see that it should go, orange/green, orange/brown, grey then grey/black.

This would explain why it does not program. I would suggest contacting your point of purchase to have it exchanged or re pin the connector accordingly. Please note repinning the connector may void the warranty, you would want to confirm with your point of purchase if this route would be ok.

It was the dang yellow wire - I used a T Tap and it apparently didn't connect. Pulled it off and put in a butt splice instead and it is mostly working now. Just need to finish programming my RF kit and then I can button things back up and be done with it.

Modules older than 5 years cannot be reset. Your module dates from 2015 and falls into that category.

doesnt work 10 sec max on evo all unless you us a beta software 0.36 or .37 but my truck has issues with the beta software. Sorry I timed my EVO ALL and its ONLY 4-5 seconds and it cranks

My coworker came to me again and said it still only works half the time. Is there anything else that can be done? We are at a loss and the item is not returnable to the vendor so if we cant get it to work then the whole thing is a wash.

Yellow will be on whenever ignition is On.

For the takeover process, as long as the module sees an unlock signal, simply get into the car and press the brake. No need to press the PTS button.
