What is the S/N number to the module?

A few things you can check:

- if using the sub3 harness ensure you have connector A plugged in

- if the red led does not flash rapidly when starting the vehicle, verify IMO connections

I would take a look at the door lock data wire, this is were the door locks are done when the vehicle is remote started.

Otherwise you could always just connect the lock and unlock wires from the compu to the vehicle.

Modules with a manufacture date of 2018 and older cannot be flashed or configured at the flash link, please use a module with a manufacure date of 2019 or newer with a qr code on the label.

Guide 46681 looks like it pertains to this model of vehicle, and requires parking light wiring from the R/S, as well as arm/disarm.

Guide 95961 looks to be quite newer and for the same use case, but requires fewer wires from the R/S. Does the newer firmware on the evo-all eliminate needing to make these additional connections?

For reference, this is comparing FW 79.42 on the older guide vs 84.11 on the newer.

2015 Subaru Legacy std key SUB1 harness installation. EVO-ONE. Using OEM remotes for starting (lock-unlock-lock). Car starts as expected and everything related to the start is working as expected. The only issue I’m having is with the OEM remote response once the vehicle is running. When the car is off, remote responses (lock, unlock, trunk) are quick and immediate. Once the car has been remotely started this changes. The command still work, but take multiple button clicks and responses seem random. I’ve been unable to figure out how to correct this. Any help would be appreciated.

Please enter 16221 into the search bar on the top right side of the Fortin.ca webpage, this will give you the alarm guide for the Evo-All, it wil show you which wires are the inputs and outputs when you enable Option G (evo alarm) You will be following Connection A on top of the guide you linked above where you would still need to connect 12V Battery / Ground / Ignition / Can High and Low

Yes, you can send the dcryptor a few days later and it will still go through as long as it was properly programmed in the vehicle to behin with.

Remotes stopped being able to program. Both Omega methods and both Fortin methods were attempted (that were valid for this RF kit) and no programming success.

Remote start system was reset per instructions above, even reflashed 0.44.

The 4 flashes was while the vehicle was running, valet mode was confirmed off.

Odd behavior started happening shortly after this and the immobilizer would not give a valid code to the ECU (engine died after 2 sec of running).

After disconnecting the vehicle battery, the positive and negative leads were contacted for a minute, then replaced on the battery. Everything functioned normally after this aside from programming aftermarket remotes. Reserve mode functioned with foot brake-hand brake-release foot brake. OEM fob could remote start with lock-unlock-lock.

- Often times if you have the IMO connection backwards it will do exactly that, start, run then shut down. The module will stil program even if the IMO connection is backwards. If the lt.blue/black wire is on the wrong side of the cut then information does not get delivered to the proper module when remote starting.

In the t-harness there are 2 diodes one for each starter wire at the ignition (these are shown in the wire to wire section of guide 97491), if one or both of the diodes becomes damaged when manipulting the t-harness during install you would get a no crank condition, to be safe I would also verify both diodes are still good using a multi meter.

In that case you will want to verify your IMO connection as well as the can bus connections. Something is not right with these wires if it is not programming.

Also be sure you loaded the module with firmware 84.12.

As a test you could try the following:

- Turn off option A3 and save it in the off position

- Try programming on just the blue led, hold button down, plug power in, let go on blue, plug in all other connectors and turn the key on, blue should go out and flash rapidly.

This will confirm if your can wires are good, if they are the only other thing the module is looking for during programming is ignition and the IMO connection (Lt.Blue/Black). Door lock data (Lt.Blue) could also influence the modules programming so youd wanna be sure of that conneciton as well.

Be sure once you are done testing you re enable option A3 for regular bypass programming.

Fw 84.12 is fine for this vehicle.

Depending on how the module is configured it can be 1 or 4 possibilities. Most commonly used I see is Choice 3.

Please note for pts vehicles, where the guide says "turn the key off" simply ignore that part.

I would go over the security light cut, the orientation of the wires is important on this install, green/red should be connector side and green/white should be harness side.

Also make sure the unit itself has a solid grounding point.

I installed Evo-One on 2019 (2020 model) Subaru Forester (PTS). The rear edge of the fuse box was not as shown in the diagram... And I did not find any CAN wires there. Then I connected the CAN wires to the red and blue wires in the connector, next to the IMMO DATA wires. I programmed it successfully, but when trying to start the remotely, only the ignition opened... The starter did not turn (the starter wire is not indicated in the diagrams). Then, I connected the starter wire to the gray-red wire next to the IMMO-DATA wires. The engine started, but the doors did not open from the standard remote control. After that, I connected the CAN wires to the white and black wires in the connector on the back of the dashboard. And already opened the doors...
