The datalink 4-pin black connector on the int-sl+ is their to connect to the remote starter datalink connector, not the car. If the remote starter does not have a datalink port, you can always just give 12V and ground to the red and black wire in that datalink connector (do not connect the blue and white anyhwere).

The door trigger on the car is a TAN color located at the BCM in a purple connector.

Hi Michael,

What is the 12 digit service number written on the back of the unit?
Is there a "+" or "PK3" stamped on the shaft of the key?

Just to confirm some connections:

12V
Ignition 1 - Pink
Ignition 2 - White
Accessory - Orange
Starter - Yellow

Do not connect the second accessory which i believe may be brown.

You may also need to connect (-)Key-Sense:

Light Green wire in the main ignition harness

Here is some more info on why the problem may occur:

1- Passlock light turns ON after takeover
Must cut PK3 power and connect through Yellow and Yellow/black of the INT-SL+.

Connection 3 of this installation guide has the proper orientation of the connections. It's important the Yellow and Yellow/Black are not reversed: INT-SL+ Installation Guide - Revision 20120308

2- Key light turns ON after remote start when inserting key
Must ground or power the Keysense wire of the vehicle with a GWR signal. Diode isolate the connection so that the INT-SL does not receive a ground whenever you insert the key.
