I just installed a evo all and evo start 2 on 17 navigator, I followed the 2015 guide since there was no 2016 and 2017 available everything works but the only issue right now is on the evo start 2 app I can remote start but the lock and unlock does not work is there anything i can do to fix that . thanks

Hello, I just have EVO START 2 installed on 2010 lincoln mkz. I can remotely controll the car from the app on ios. However, when I send commands, the first command will do lock,unlock,start, etc. other commands after the first one will not work. I have to close and reopen the app so it can work again.

I am trying to do the key bypass steps as described in the stand alone Evo All Lincoln MKT 2010-2014 installation instructions, but getting stuck after being told to insert the oem remote (without battery) into the keyport and press and release the brake pedal to get the unit to display the red LED. The unit only continues to disply the yellow LED despite me pressing and releasing the brake pedal (waiting 5 seconds between each push) up to 50 times. I am using firmware .57, as instructed in the instructions, and have flashed the unit mutiple times. I have also reset the unit and reflashed all to no avail.

I'm encountering a no start condition with EVO-ALL (SN: 001A07511504) and THAR-FOR4 T-Harness in a 2009 Lincoln MKX. It programs correctly (i.e. ending with 10 red flashes then rapid blue flashes). When remote starting it goes through the motions but the engine never cranks.

I currently do not have A4 (green wire - unlock) or A5 (white wire - lock) installed from the 20-pin connector as from my understanding it's only required for a RF kit. I will be installing a MyCar module but want to ensure I have the basics working first before connecting the other wires to the BCM.

NOTE: The unlock wire color seems to be incorrect for the 3B BCM connector in Guide # 89131 rev 20220805. The manual states Purple/Green but the actual color is Purple/Grey. Wirecolor also lists the unlock wire as Purple/Grey.

2012 Lincoln MKS Step 7 programming issue, red light goes out when both red and blue lights are to be lit

Upon pressing the brake for step 7, the red light and blue lights are lit, but the red goes out prior to pressing the ignition button. It seems the bypass won't program. When finsihed, and trying to remote start, the car says no key detected. Ideas>

1998 Lincoln Navigator.EVOALL to use as a bypass. Followed the instructions to a tee for muliple hours could not program. Red and orange light stay on constant. When using two different keys we finally got it to blink red rapidly 10 times and lights when off indicating it programmed properly. Upon remote starting we get the theft light and vehicle shuts off. Remote starts perfectly with programmed key in the barrel.

Evo one, rs and alarm. 3 pin L2R (+ , trigger, -). Hoping this is correct as I will be wiring up a duel shock sensor. It has 4 wires. Pre warn and warn. What's best way to tie this in. I have a 3 pin plug for evo. So then after trigger , I need to know where to tie in the siren. Looks like E1 is for Parking lights. Then after those 2 questions answered I'll be putting on a compustar 901 kit. I will swap the rx/tx and plug into the blue 4 pin data port. Then option firstech. So 3 questions. Sensor, siren wire, and flashing options. 08 lincoln mkz standard key. On the rs side I see option 12 for the horn/siren. I was under the impression that the parking lights were through the can. I dont think I usually ever hook up the white wire. As long as I can get parking lights via obd2 then I can simply use it for the alarm. Right ? So if this is the case I dont think I need a relay. But what option do I choose.. like to use as a positive trigger. I usually ground the siren right on the mounting screw of siren to body medal. Then just 2 wires through the firewall. 1 for hoodpin trigger, and 1 for + alarm. Derek was hoping you can jump in. This ok. ? What options all do I need in flashlink for my 08 mkz with 901 firstech. Wiring evo one in via wire to wire as theres more information on fortin, then I was going to use the d2d port from the evo one to the viper 5806v. Believe it's the red port on the viper and the 4 pin black on the evo. Can someone provide a ebay link to the part needed. Theres so many variations.

EVO ONE solid red led

I am attempting to install an EVO ONE on a 2007 Lincoln Towncar, standard installation. First my problem was that when I inserted the second key the yellow led would turn on with the red one and would not let me proceed.

NOW, whenever I connect the EVO ONE using the six pin conncector, the EVO ONE will not alternate leds and just stays on red. I already tried going from .99 firmware to the newest one and no luck.

I installed an EVO one a month ago, works fine, adding a DEI 550 to it because of the limited range using the factory remotes. I am in the US so I couldn't use the Fortin cellular start. I changed the firmware to.83 for the dei550 and changed it over to xl-202 and saved it but after I installed the 550 No green LED coming on the DSM 550.... I bought the data link connector, its hooked up, got a solid amber and solid white but no green communication to Evo one LED??? Is this normal??? Also my RFAXL202 harness adapter wires don't match up the same as the installation illustration pictures.... the pictures show the wire order on the blue plug as RED, BLACK, BLUE, WHITE and the blue plug order on the adapter I purchased is RED, BLACK, WHITE, BLUE??? which is correct.... all the other wires match up just as they are in the installation instructions.

I have a 2008 Lincoln MKX and have an Evo one installed on it keeping my factory remotes. the range for the start is very limited, I am in the U.S. so I cant use your smart phone start system. I have seen on here that the Viper smart start can interface with the evo one, but I am getting very little info on how to wire it up and get it to interface? Please help

2008 Lincoln MKZ EVO-All programming problems

Following the instructions for programming the blue portion. I hold down the programming button then plug in the data cable and the EVO-All blinks blue, red, yellow, blue and red then repeats. The instructions say it should only blink blue, yellow, red then repeat (not sure if this matters). I then release the button when blue and it says on solid. I plug in the remaining wires and put the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position. The light goes out for a moment then the blue light starts to flash rapidly as per the instructions. At this point I can put the key into the ignition (in the OFF position) and press the lock button 3 times on my remote and the vehicle will start. I can only get the vehicle to shut off by pressing the lock button 3 times again. Pressing the brake or turning the key to ON and pressing the brake and turning the key OFF will not turn the vehicle off (not sure if that even matters at this point in the programming).

Moving on to the red portion of the programming. I unplug all connectors on the EVO-All. Then while holding in the programming button I connect the data cable. Once again I get the blue, red, yellow, blue and red lights repeating. I stop on red and release the button. The red light is now on solid. I insert the first key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position. The red light goes out while the yellow light comes on solid. I wait 3 seconds and turn the key to the OFF position. The yellow light goes out while the red light comes back on solid. I then insert the second key into the ignition and turn it to the ON postions. The red light stays on solid. I wait 3 seconds and turn the key to the OFF position and remove the key. The red light is still on solid. Finally I press the program button and the red light flashes once, I then press the lock button on the remote 3 times (all within the 5 second alloted time) to activate the remote start. The red light does not flash 10 times as per the instructions. The light just stays on solid and the vehicle will not remote start. Any help would be appreciated.

Im am doing a remote start on a 2013 Lincoln navigator and plan on doing it one of two ways.

I would like to use an evo-all with an RS1-G5 instead of an EVO-ONE because the range of is far greater then that of the OEM remote, but my concern is will the OEM remote still function will it is remote started. And this same question will go along with the installation of an EVO-ONE and using the 3X lock feature. I havent decided which one I will do yet but I wanted to make sure I knew the answer to this question before I chose.

2010 MKX - PATS failure, no RAP

PATS failed to program with 2 key method, tried Dcryptor it failed too. Now all 8 key slots are full and vehicle locked out key programming.

Also RAP does not work. Verified GRN/WHI to door side and GRN/RED to VEh side. Tested wires with meter, they are closed circuit and never change state.

I reviewed the other post on this exact issue.

At first attempt programming (using programming 3--2 keys) the red led flashed and then blue led flashed. The vehicle wouldn't remote start. I attempted a dozen times changing firmware (4.18, 71.39, 71.35, 71.34, 71.11) and programming using the two key method as well as decryptor process and single key. When attempting to program using the two key method, the red led does not flash, nor does the blue led flash. When using decryptor method, after uploading/downloading and updating the module, the vehicle will not remote start, the security light flashes on the dash indicating no valid key. If I hold the key next to the barrel it will remote start.

i swapped out the evo-all for another, same result. I swapped out the evo-all for an evo-ride, the red led does not flash when I press the program buttton.

RX (lt blue/blk) is connected to the yellow/org pin 4 of transponder

TX (lt blue) is connected to purple/grey pin 3 of transponder connector.

I tried swapping RX and TX, module wouldn't go into correct programming mode.

I tried using the guide for Ford Edge, connecting evo-all relay output (Wht/blue, wht/red) to +12v, ign.

5 hours troubleshooting this thing. Normally changing firmware solves these type of issues, but I am at a loss.

Was this question ever resolved?? I have called tech support and the last very friendly guy i spoke with thought I might have to do a key wrap. I would like to avoid that if there is a better solution. I have done most of the same steps that he has to include swapping the tx and rx wires and even rolled back to .62 and no help. I get the same issue at step 6 of the module program where the yellow light goes out but the red comes back on. I don't have the service number right at hand for the unit but can get it later if its needed to answer my question.

EVO-ONE installed in a 2009 Lincoln MKZ in what I believe is called "stand alone" mode. Everything works as expected, 3x lock starts the car although I find 4x tends to work better, maybe just need to get the timing down to trigger the start.

When the car has been remotely started and I enter the car, I put the key in the ignition, turn it to the run position, and then step on the brake pedal to allow the car to be put into gear. When I step on the brake pedal the radio goes silent for about 2 or 3 seconds and returns. Is this the normal and expected behavior?

The installation guide #17373 was followed, I found that I did have to deviate for two items, the EVO-ONE would not recognize the brake pedal press via the CAN buss so I hooked up A11 to the brake switch and cut the yellow wire loop (it is an automatic). In addition I used the decryptor to program the system with a single key.

Programming remote start with evo-all. 2 key system 2010 mkx, does just what it says it will do all the way to the end, then try remote starting and the remote starter just clicks and won't crank the car, if i remote start the car with the key by the ignition cylinder it will start.

2004 Lincoln Aviator with PATS

One key only, marked with an S

Programming method 3, EVO-ONE.

I cannot get the immobilizer bypass to allow starting after DCryptor is successfully programmed.

Wiring as follows:

A1 = Lock
A2 = Unlock
(Do these need to be wired to Arm/Disarm?)

Reset bypass unit programming. LEDs alternate rapidly.
Unplug unit. Plug in unit (6-pin first)
Hold key against ignition barrel
Trigger remote start (Fortin 2-Way RF antenna)
Start successful
Remote stop. Stop successful.
Repeat 3-6 successfully.

Unplug unit

Bypass Programming:

Plug in unit, holding programming button
Release on Red.
Plug in all connectors
press program button. Red flashes off and back on
insert key, turn to on. Yellow light is comes on. Red light turns off.
Turn key to off. Yellow light is off, red light remains on.
Turn key to on. Wait. Red Yellow alternating flashing.
Turn key off, unplug unit.
take to computer, plug in, launch Fashlink manager 3
Unit red light is on
Vehicle selected is Lincoln Aviator 2004
Open DCryptor
Follow steps until successful message received. Unit red light remains on.
Unplug unit from computer and reinstall in vehicle, 6-pin connector first.
Attempt remote start. Start fails.
1. Remote Starter engages accessory and then ignition functions.
2. Faint red flashing on unit
3. vehicle relays are heard. Normal startup lights are on.
4. Starter is not engaged
5. Parking lights flash 4 times. (Note this is not the same as 4x immediate flash, indicating Valet Mode)
Door lock and unlock works fine.

Resetting the bypass allows for the remote start to function again, with the key held to the barrel.

Bypass options enabled:

A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, A10, A11

Additionally, this was tested with D2 both enabled and disabled.

Special Starter options enabled:

31.4, 20.2

Additionally I have:

Tried the above methods while holding the unit closer to the ignition barrel
Tested for voltage on the TX and RX channels, using both Key and Remote starts, on both the splice and the 20-pin sides, and observed the same voltage patterns.
Attempted swapping the TX and RX channels.
Tried all steps using firmware 71.31 and 71.28

Please provide any suggestions you may have, thank you for your help.

where are door lock wires 2009 lincoln navigator

Cannot find power door lock wires when installing remote start on 2009 lincoln navigator. The wire color guide says that they are a "white and brown/blue and brown" in drivers kick panel or smart junction box on drivers side dash. The smart junction box in my case is in passenger kick panel. I have taken apart wiring harnesses at smart junction box and in drivers kick panel and cannot find these wire colors that would be related to door lock circuit. Thanks, Mike.

I follow programming proceedure 2. I install the first key for 3 seconds and the yellow light comes on. I remove it and install the 2nd key and then the red light flashes once. Then I remove it and press the program button and the red light flashes once quickly/weakly. I use the remote start which powers the accessory wire but never get the red light 10 flashing times. The red light just stays on. Can you tell me why the programming is no working?
