I have MG6 2nd Generation model year 2020 (chinese made by SAIC Morors) push to start, I want to have a standalone remote starter similar to evo all and evo one in some vehicles ( i did install them in my previous car Nissan Qashqai ) and recently in my brother's car VW Tiguan.

I am desperate for an engine remote start solution specially by fortin as we live in hot climate regions and precooling the cabin with A/C is kinda of a must

Hello friends,

We are a newly forming company developing products for vehicle access and start/stop integrations.

We are working on using EVO-ALL on Push-To-Start (PTS) vehicles to execute Start/Stop and Lock/Unlock functions via a hardwired external trigger (MCU/digital input).

Our first test vehicle is a 2020 Honda CR-V (PTS). For this vehicle, we are considering the EVO-ALL module.

1) Does the EVO-ALL support engine START/STOP control via an “external trigger / hardwired input”?

(Either as a toggle input or as separate START and STOP inputs.)

Additionally, when we perform an engine start through the module, the immobilizer bypass must be handled automatically.

2) In the same way, is it possible to trigger door LOCK/UNLOCK and TRUNK OPEN functions via “external inputs” (hardwired MCU control) using EVO-ALL?

3) For this vehicle, is the required hardware EVO-ALL + THAR/T-Harness + FlashLink/programming tool?

Could you please share the exact product part numbers?

Also, for vehicles without PTS hardware (basic mechanical ignition with immobilizer), do you offer any modules to add an external Engine Start/Stop button?

Ideally, we are looking for solutions that can be implemented via relays.

After successful field tests, we plan to expand to other vehicles (PTS and non-PTS) such as Hyundai/Fiat/Mercedes, and then proceed with volume purchases.

I am planning on buying and installing an EVO-ONE-LTE on a Honda Odyssey 2016 EXL and Mazda CX5 2019 GS. I noticed that subscription is valid ONLY for 3 years. My question is how much would be the renewal cost to continue using the remote starter with all the features like GPS, remote start through the APP after the 3 year license/subscription.

Bought a used car that came with an Evo One installed, but no remotes. The car came with an FMH 2-W antenna. I can get in programming mode with this setup using the valet button and get to the quick flashing blue led state. I can do the sequence to forget the remotes and reset the settings.

I have bought a remote kit (RFK3641) that came with an FM3 antenna. I disconnected the FMH2W and connnected the FM3 (I know it goes in a different connector on the Evo One). With that installed, I cannot enter programming mode for the remotes. I get the horn after turning the ignition on and holding the valet button. Then I get the horn again after pressing the button once. I hit the brake, but never get the quick flashing LED on the FM3 antenna.

Do I have to do anything special when changing from one model of antenna to another?

Hi does the EVOStart lte disable gps when the vehicle is off? I noticed in the app when the vehicle is running the gps symbol in the app is red meaning active. When I park the car and check the app like 10 minutes later I noticed the GPS symbol is black meaning no signal/off. Is that normal or is it a power saving feature when the vehicle is off and periodically checks gps every so often? Or is it off the entire time the vehicle is turned off?

I want to install remote starter to my Aston Martin Rapide 2012. Back on the days Aston Martin used lots of Ford parts on the engine and Volvo parts on the cabin, such as the trunk release system, navigation, audio system and fob remote control. Original electronics of the remote control is a Volvo one. My car has already a push to start button. I want to be able to start the car remotely. Hi guys ._. / Derek, I have a generic question. I would like to install EVO ONE with alarm. Do I have to connect the lock, unlock, horn and door pin? Or should I only carry out the installation that the schematic asks for? Obviously load the firmware with remote start and alarm option, right? How to activate the alarm from an RF RFK411? Could you explain to me in more details? Until now I had not used this function with FORTIN, I was only using it with COMPUSTART.

I have the Evo One with Linkr LT2 for several years now and works flawlessly. As a matter of fact, I have the same set-up in 2 of my other vehicles. GREAT PRODUCT!

Question, do I have to do a complete "hard" reset prior to installing the Evo One or can I use the flashlink to make the changes (new vehicle, key, etc) and update the Evo One. And would you know if I have to "reset" the Linkr LT2?

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

FYI, I'm going from a 2015 Odyssey to a 2019 CX5 (I have the THAR-ONE-MAZ3 already on order).

I have a Renault Kadjar 2020 with push button, I want to install Evo All as a standalone solution for remote starting the car, Renault Kadjar and Nissan Rogue Sport share their major components and are similar in a lot of aspects, they have the same BCM and same wiring sockets, I have followed the guide for Nissan Rogue sport and there are differences in the following : 1- OBD ignition ( pin 8 is empty ) 2- 24 Pin Black Socket ( Pin 19 is empty while Blue wire is on Pin 20 ) 3- 40 Pin black Socket ( Pin 9 is empty ) 4- Most of the Wiring Colors are different than the guide Please keep in mind that i have already used the same solution on a Nissan Qashqai ( similar to rogue sport ) but with a T harness and it worked My main concern now is to have a correct wiring guide for Renault Kadjar and i am confident that it will work

Evo-one with DSM550 smartstart cannot shut vehicle down

I'm having some trouble with 2 units this week. one is a 2015 honda civic,at, pts with evo-one, Thar-one-hon3 with dsm550 smartstart. The other is a 2015 VW golf, key, at, Jan/15, gas. Both worked flawlessly until it reaches its time to timeout and shut down. Set for 15 mins, go outside 35 mins later to find them still running. Cannot shut off with App, oem remote, brake pedal, hood, or key. When stepping on brake or putting key in and trying to shut off, the instrument cluster reads "key system error". The only way to shut vehicle down was to remove fuses/relays related to ignition to stop engine, then unhook battery. Then key operation of vehicle returns to normal. I do not have the service number for the Civic handy as its back with customer. The service number for VW is 002B04 267057. It's almost like its caught in some kind of data loop and cant get out. Any advice is appreciated.

Car - Renault Scenic III 2014

After installing the system according to the diagram, everything works fine, but the car starts itself when you leave with the key (hands free).

the doors are locked, the mirrors are folded, everything is as usual - but then the car starts itself.

that is, fortin somehow perceives the signal to close the car through the hands-free system as a signal to start the starter.

why is that?

When I purchased the vehicle it was able to unlock the truck and start the truck and it has two channels on the remote that I have from crimestopper cool start .... I guess I'm wanting to know how to go about resetting or programming it to start my truck and unlock my doors ? I have evo all and a cool start .... I tried pressing the valet button a few times to make the horn go off and light flash but that's about it .... the fortín unit won't reset ... when I press the reset button on the fortín evo all nothing happens ... I'm left with a 3 green lights or maybe one yellow and two green but that's about it ..... I'm not seeing any blue lights , or red lights at all during the process ... should I unplug my battery on my truck ? What is the process to set up both units or how do I run the reprogramming .... I can't seem to get a response out of the evo all unit

My old FSA- 206 just died and I though about taking my EVO ONE to replace it. On the website, there's a note stating "Automatic vehicles only" but my car is a manual. Is that restriction because the EVO has trouble checking if the car is in gear and has the hand brake on, if so what's the solution?

programming procedure with decriptor is completed ok. connection has done according to circuit diagram.

1. when car is self locking by keyless system (when owner with key-card go away), evo-all is starting the engine without owner's command.

2. when the engine has started by evo-all, the key-card is not opening the car and not turning off the engine with any combination of keys. what are we doing wrong, please help

Can an Evo-One and Evo-Start combination be used even if the vehicle does not have a transponder/CAN support? Vehicle is a 2005 Hyundai Satna Fe. 2018 Buick Enclave Successfully Done With Envision Firmware and EVO-GMT6

Just to let everyone know I have successfully installed a EVO-GMT6 in a 2018 Buick Enclave with the firmware and install guide for the Buick Envision of the same year. BCM Location is exactly the same and programming is the same. However, Location of KEY reader isn't in the cup holder, it's located in the bottom of the center console centered and to the back.

When I plug the flashlink device into usb port, windows 7 immediately tries to install the driver for it. After a while it says that it wasnt installed properly. In the device manager it is recognised as a FES Flashlink Device but Windows cannot verify the digital signature.

Hello. I have a EVO-ONE remote start in my 2015 Rav4 with a newly installed Car Link ASCL6 Telemantics module for cell phone remote start. I have also have the long range remote. The key fob 3x and long range remote works perfectly with no issues, but the cell phone app will not start the car. It shows the battery voltage in GREEN, cell signal in GREEN, door lock/unlock status, and GPS. When I touch the start button it won't start...the button turns blue then red showing it didn't start. It eventually goes back to white. The doors won't lock or unlock either, but it shows the status when I'm close to the car. I locked the doors with the fob and the status on the cell phone app changed to lock accordingly. When I unlocked the car with the fob it showed the unlock on the app correctly.

I followed the installation instructions correctly and if I didn't install it correctly I'd think it wouldn't show the battery voltage and other things I mentioned above. Protocol is set to FORTIN so I got that right. Can anyone help?

Do you guys know off hand of the Canadian tire "special" ProStart CT-3310 can do 2 way data-link? There is a 4 pin bypass port on it but not sure on if it supports 2 way or only 1 way.

If it does support it... is it a D2D protocol? Will be using an EVO-ALL

My FTX64-2W remote LED is not lighting up normally. When I press the remote start command, the engine runs but the remote LED shows one short burst of one green and one blue with no green blinks afterwards. Normaly, I would see 2 burst of green LED blinks indicating the engine has started and intermittent green blinks showing that the engine is running. Also when I disable the engine start, I get one short burst of one red and one blue blinks instead of two red blinks.

I'm trying to figure out if the battery is dying and want to replace it. I got the remotes about three months ago. It seems to be to soon for the battery to be dead. How long should the battery last? I noticed through FAQ that the replacement battery should be 2025. How do you open the remote? I'm able to remove the two screws for the chrome part. How do you separate the black plastic housing? I wish not to force it apart. Is there a special way to separate the remote?
