Troubleshooting help on Evo Start amber flashing light (2x) on Mazda cx5 2020

I have purchased the Evo-One car starter. I have installed everything correctly with the T-harness. I have benn using it for a couple months without issues. I have recently purchased a second hand Evo Start antenna and am trying to sync it with my unit. I have had the password and accesses transfered from the previous user. I have sucessfully entered the app. I have done the factory reset sequence on the antenna. I have now done the steps to have it synced with my evo-one unit. All the steps seem to have worked out correctly, but when I try starting the car I am getting a error code (amber light flashing 2x). In the manual it says : "Validation pending (make sure that the EVO-START yellow (+) ignition wire is properly connected to the vehicle's (+) ignition wire.)"

Any ideas on how to fix this issue? I am not sure if the yellow wire is requiered to be connected? I have a Mazda CX5 2020 automatic push start. I have the Evo Start 2 app, do I need to have the Evo Start (original) app? Does it make a difference?

	Thanks for all the help!

2020 jeep renegade remote start

For information. I installed Evo-ALL on a 2020 Jeep Renegade. I specified the Jeep Compass in the manager. It only took CAN-1...I took CAN from the lower connector behind the BCM. From the thin green and brown wires. I took the parking light line back to the place where it was indicated on the previous model. Programming required opening the ON switch 10 times, as written in the manual. The PTS line was blue. The data line was yellow-blue.

2020 f150 lock/unlock/lock option known issue?

Has anyone experienced this issue with the 2020+ f150 stand alone with t harness lock unlock lock?

The install is like 5 minutes and goes great. Test at the door l/u/l fires right up. The problem is as soon as you move away a few feet from door with key ....the vehicle lets you lock unlock the park lights come on and you cannot lock again until lights time out which isn't fast enough for remote start sequence. 3x lock works fine but you have the horn honk as usual. Has this happened to anyone else? Just wondering

2020 Subaru Forester install questions

1. In this thread from a while ago, it was said that enabling 3x lock is not recommended for a 2019. Does this still apply?
https://fortin.ca/en/qa/90775/LockLockLock-Forester-Sport-2019/
EDIT: May have been fixed in firmware 1.24 AKA 0.60?

2. Guide 98941, page 7. I'm probably over analyzing this, but I assume for the Yellow/Red and Yellow/Green wires, the illustration is saying to connect the respective wires together. Is that correct? I figured there would be a black circle on it if that was a case. I initially thought this was a spliced wire from the factory.

3. Will there be issues if I use an Omega RF kit and have to use firmware 0.44?

Thanks all!

Hi all,
Looking at the install for a 2020 Kona, diagram 73971. On page 6, lower left corner on the steering wheel, there are a couple of "7" dots. Based on what I'm reading, the top 7 should be removed and the bottom one should be changed to 8 because it refers to the location of the horn. If not, can you clarify?
I have Purchased a Evo-GMT6 with THAR-GM6 harness for a 2020 Buick Encore push start and im looking for clarification.

1.On page 4(wiring diagram) of guide #77331, shows to make a connection between the light blue wire and light blue/black wire. Do these need to be spliced together? What is the reason for this?

2. Also, wondering what start/stop external control means?

3. Are the good hood pins/ valet switch required for the function of the module?

Thanks,
2020 corolla hybrid start wire & override switch

Today I installed the EVO ALL in my 2020 Toyota Corolla GR Sport Hybrid, unfortunately the hybrid start wire was too short because I wanted to mount the module all the way on the left behind the cover for easy access. However upon testing all still seemed to work (blower goes on, which for me is the most important, both in winter and in summer). My question is what exactly does this wire? I can simply extend the wire, but I feel a bit hesitant cutting and soldering the original wire (it is very thin, so I don't want to use a splice connector).

I guess this is for the car to be able to start if the battery becomes low because of the blower (and lights and radio) going on?

Also was wondering what the override switch does, suppose only as an emergency for when the EVO for some reason fails?

There are a lot of spare wires, from the big white connector they seem spare I/O, but from the smaller white connector there are 2 orange wires which don't appear in the instructions. Wish the instructions explained all the connections a bit more.

Evo One won't start after 5 min or so but was working right after key bypass programming procedure

Hi, I'm kind of lost here, nobody seem to have the answer to my problem, not even Fortin when I call them for help. I installed my Evo One on my Hyundai Tucson 2020 standart key start, followed exactly all the wiring as per the guide, double check all my connection (EMS, CAN BUS, ignition wires, etc) and there's no loose cable. After that I did the key bypass programming procedure with EMS cable : hold down program button while plugging the 6 pin heavy gauge wire till it was red, plug all the others wires, press 7 times program button till it flash 6 times every second, put the key in and turn to ON. At this point the red led flashed 10 time quickly and after stayed on while the blue light started flashing quickly too. After that I turned Ignition to OFF and every light turn off. Right after that I tried to start the car by pressing LOCK, UNLOCK, LOCK and the car started no problem. I then stop the car, close the door and wait...

5 min later, I tried to restart the car with the remote starter but it didn't work. The car got the lock unlock lock signal but no light is flashing on the module anymore like if it went into sleep mode or something.

I tried many thing and here is what I found out :

- If I unplug all cable from the Evo One and plug it straight back it then start receiving signal again for the next 5 min or so.

- If I open the trunk and close it back, the module seem to start back receiving signal from oem remote.

To me it feel like there is a cut off or something that stop the module from receiving any signal from the oem remote after a certain amount of time, kind if it was to prevent from draining the battery of the car.

Could also be that the Evo One is loosing the key programming after current shutting off in the car but then it shouldn't start by just unplugging and replugging the 6 pin ignition wires.

*Sorry if my english is not perfect, I usually speak french.

THAR-ONE-SUB2 & EVO ONE on 2020 Subaru WRX PTS

I have installed the THAR-ONE-SUB2 in my US WRX per the instruction guide, page page 7/11 T-Harness - Automatic & Manual Transmission
https://cdn02.fortin.ca/download/98951/evo-one_ig_rto_bi_sub2_wrx_2019_pts_b_98951.pdf

ASK:
1.) Why is the car not starting with the Yellow/Red and Yellow/Green separeted per the installation guide
2.) Does my US WRX have to follow the Canadian Vehicle steps, if yes why and if no what is the difference

Installation was simple as mainly 2 connectors and areplug N play. I master reset my Evo One, flashed the 2020 WRX firmware and follow the programming steps on page 8/11. When I get to step 5 to start the car, the car starts and shuts off immidiately, eventually not even turning the starter. The lights on the Evo One stay solid for Red and Blue and programming does not complete to follow up on the Dcryptor part. After a little troubleshooting I found that I can get the car to start if I reconnect the Yellow/Red and Yellow/Green wires I cut eariler making the car at least drivable again.

EVO-One and Viper VSM550 2020 Toyota Tacoma H-Key

2020 Toyota Tacoma Auto, No factory alarm, H Key.

Evo-One

No RF kits

Viper VSM550 Cellular

Tried following the guides, remote start works fine, but the vsm550 did not have a green light and would not communcate with the evo-one.

May have used the wrong remote start side firmware at first, i used the "recommended firmware" that flashlink told me. I think 1.25

Used the latest Bypass firmware flashlink recommended, cant remember at the moment what it was.

Installed the unit with the t harnesses, made the tmps cut etc, all seemed to work as it should, realized the cell was not working, so i pulled the unit to bring inside and was going to drop it down to 0.83 which i did.

However when i went to check the options for the rf kit, xl202 option was missing but checked, it show N/A along with several other options that way.

Tried to flash to a different firmware and back, even tried uninstalling flash link and reinstall, didnt work.

decided to flash it to my honda pilot and then go back to my tacoma but apparently at this point i am told i can no longer flash the unit.

That being said, i can now see the option for xl202 again, note the option was there when i first flashed it all and took to the truck, it was only gone when i tried to drop down to .83

My main question now is:

1. can someone please unlock my unit so i can flash it back to my truck. - 002B04 008976

2. what is the correct combination of firmwares / latest firmwares for my setup, bypass side and remote start side.

2020 Silverado Linkr LT2 door locks not working

I installed the Fortin Evo-all with T-Harness on my 2020 Silverado 2500HD that has no Onstar, then added the Linkr LT2 and everything works except the door locks. I checked continuity of the purple and purple/white wires from the Evo-All plug to the pins on the BCM and the wires are fine. With the Evo-All disconnected I can control the door locks by applying ground to the purple and purple/white wires. I have performed a full reset of the Evo-All multiple times, and tried at least 20 different flash configurations and nothing. It seems as if the Evo-All is not applying ground for lock control, possible firware or module issue because the Evo-All is Flashing the Blue light for lock via the Linkr LT2 and the red and blue for unlock. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

2020 Mazda CX-5 Auto Hold Does Not Work When Vehicle Started Remotely.

	Hey everyone,

I just installed the Fortin Evo-One in my 2020 Mazda CX-5 and everything works fine except the Auto Hold feature, but only when the car is started remotely. I've made sure all doors are closed, my seatbelt fastened, car fully stopped in drive and I just get 3 flashes.

When started normally, it works just fine.

I've tried re-flashing the Evo-One module and tried running the DCryptor sequence again but same issue both times. Unit was installed with the THAR-ONE-MAZ3 T-Harness.

Has anyone else had this issue or have any troubleshooting advice?
