I have a Fortin evo all, a evo start lte, and also shock sensor. I’m getting feedback from the car which shows up on the Evo start, but commands sent aren’t working, and when the evo alarm goes off the vehicle alarm does not. I was hoping you could tell me if there’s some wiring that I’m not aware of, or if the process with the dcryptor is wrong? everything seemed to program correctly. I used the CHR7 T-harness and it’s on a 2018 grand Cherokee. What am I missing?

I can remote start it perfectly fine but as soon as an open a door the alarm goes off no matter if the I spam the unlock button before opening.

Hi all, I recently installed an EVO-ONE on my 2003 Lexus Is300. For some reason when my car is locked and I hit the remote starter the vehicle starts but the security alarm starts to sound. On the opposite end when the vehicle is unlocked, no alarm goes and it still starts. Not a huge burden but might be tricky if someone else at home wants to use it. My remote starter remote does not unlock and lock the vehicle as well. Any help is appreciated. Serial Number is 002BO4707522.

I trigger the alarm and works but doesn’t send a notification alarm to the rm942 remote, im expecting this feature to work since this is a 2 way remote, im i missing something pls help ty

Hello!

I really like the EVO-ALL module and would like to use it as alarm only on my 2020 WRX. I am NOT interested in remote starting the vehicle.

Looking at the manual (https://cdn02.fortin.ca/download/103541/EVO-ALL_IG_REG_BI_SUB_WRX_2021_PTS_A_103541.pdf), I am trying to determine whether I need to connect anything apart of power and CANBUS to get the ALARM working using OEM keyless entry fobs.

The manual mentions REMOTE STARTER block, which seems to be separate to EVO-ALL, I assume I won't need it.

There is NO factory alarm in the car. Just central locking and keyless entry and push-button start.

Please advise.

since the factory remote is prone to relay attacks and the fortin remotes are not can i set it up so that the factory key fob cant arm/disarm the fortin alarm?? i would like the only things that can dissarm the fortin alarm function is the fortin keyfob and the ascl7 module. id would be woried that if there is a relay attack the factory key fob would dissarm it.

I've mostly successfully installed my EVO One with LTE module on my 2020 Nissan Armada. App works great for locking, unlocking, and remote starting. Factory key fob works as expected. However, if I unlock with the app and open the door without having a key fob with me, the car honks like the factory alarm is going off. Given that the unlock and lock functions are working, I believe the pins added as the guide shows are functioning properly, but for some reason, the alarm is not being disabled when coming from the EVO One. I've tried adjusting option 14.2 to 14.1 per another similar post, but that didn't do anything. We've mostly been living with it as the described trigger doesn't happen often, but any help would be appreciated to get it sorted out.

I successfully finished the install on a 2015 Subaru Legacy 6 speed manual Evo-One with the t-harness and rf kit. Everything went well and works okay, but after the install the red security light in the cluster stays on all the time while running but its very dim. When the car is off its blinking as its supposed to, but when it blinks "off" its still slightly light up when it should be totally off. Seems almost like its getting a constant back feed from somewhere. I'm not sure if this is a wiring mistake or possibly a bad unit?

Had the EVO ONE installed for about a year with all the functions working. The engine locked up and after the dealer replaced it everything still works except when you remote start about 20ish seconds past and the car alarm will go off. I've tried changing some settings, the master reset ( plug in the big connector and let the button go when its red then hold again until it cycles) then flashing it again still no change. I checked the wiring and found no breakage or cuts.

2 things I've noticed is that if I'm trying to do the KEY BYPASS PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE after I get solid yellow and I plug in the rest of the connectors and turn the car on the light does not change, tried about 4 times, but when I do the PROGRAMMING VEHICLE WITHOUT PATS DATA WIRE (even thought I did the PATS wiring like the diagram said) I get through all the steps no problem and end up with the original issue.

2nd thing is when I remote start it unlocks then locks and starts (like it should) then after a couple of seconds it locks again which I feel like its arming the alarm because I tested unlocking the car after that second lock and around the time the alarm would normally go off it doesn't but what happens is the car relocks its self then after some seconds the alarm goes off again.

Also note if I turn the alarm off the cycle of the car locking itself again then the alarm going off will continue forever until I either disable the remote start or put my key and turn it to the on position

To me its sounding like the EVO one isn't acting like the "key" which points to the key bypass Issue and I cannot seem to find a forum about the problem I am having

I have a 2015 Subaru Legacy that I have install an EVO-ONE (002B07172969) on with the T-Harness and have an issue with the car alarming when the door is opened after unlocking it with the key fob. If I use the smart-phone module to unlock the car, no alarm sounds when the door is opened. If I disable the alarm feature (change from option 14.2 to 14.1) everything works fine. Any ideas?

On another note, the troubleshooting app for android does not exist on the Google Play Store.

Everytime i remote start the alarm set off. i follow Guide # 90081. i did hook up the key sense wire. but i didint see any 2 pin white connector shown in the guide. when i remote start the alarm set off so i have unlock and lock and the car stay running. if i cant find the key sense wire. can i change the setting to unlock before start then lock after?

Or should I only carry out the installation that the schematic asks for? Obviously load the firmware with remote start and alarm option, right? How to activate the alarm from an RF RFK411? Could you explain to me in more details? Until now I had not used this function with FORTIN, I was only using it with COMPUSTART.

I have evo one 22 civic with alarm enabled everything is working correctly including door and hood and trunk does set off the evo alarm properly oem key and with evo start lte with siren

except impact sensor alarm is enabled reflashed decrypted a few times

impact sensor has power it flashes properly when it detects shock even tried directly quickly tapping the blue wire on impact sensor plug directly to ground nothing happens I'm pretty sure

I was wondering what is the cause for the car to go off. My car is parking at a parking spot in front of my house. The alarm on the car go off every few hours. Not sure why. Programming was successful, vehicle starts, door locks continue to work via factory remote. Evo-all seems to be monitoring door switches as it will shut down if a door is opened when locked. However no alarms sound whether that's the factory alarm or evo-all. What could be the problem here? I was looking to supplement the factory alarm with evo-alarm for shock/glass break sensors. I'd settle for just the factory alarm working again.

Hello, I have Chevrolet Cruze 2012 with original key and Evo All connected with t-harness GM1v2.

I wanna to install car alarm system with push button and PKE.

I dont wanna use original key at all, fortin should work like immo bypass.

What I want: open car with key from alarm system, start the vehicle pushing the start/stop button and car shouldn`t stall when I push a break pedal.

How can I do that?

Sould I connect:

1) 2. IGN1 wire to yellow fortin Ign wire

2) 4. ACC wire to brown fortin wire (pic. 2)

3) Or need to use some of the fortin wires: A13, A16, A18?

4) A8 GWR needed?

5) Reprogramming Fortin nedded?

I installed the EVO ONE without T-Harness and RFK411 on a 2014 Scion XD (with standard key). Sometimes after remore start, when the door is opened the alarm is set off and the remote start is halted. Option D2 was inititially turned off. I turned it on and though it improved quite a bit, it still happens every now and then. The system is wired and configured per Guide # 102241. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I go to tripple lock the car the start it, the accessory power turns on, then the intrusion alarm goes off and the car does not start. How can I resolve this issue?

I have an EVO ONE with alarm system activated ( with connected to the Horn ), I donot have any OEM alarm from the manufacturer, My car is nissan qashqai with push button. Alarm used to be activated when i locked the car using OEM fob or door button ( If i recall correctly ), Now it is only working when locking with RF kit remote ( crimestopper ) while it doesnot trigger the alarm when locking with OEM fob . Fortin EVO-ONE installed into a 2011 Toyota Camry. Firmware 1.[25] loaded. Fortin alarm function has been enabled. Alarm works as expected when using the Fortin RF remote. However, if the OEM remote is used to unlock the vehicle, the alarm will sound when the door is opened. Can the OEM remote be configured to disarm the alarm?

Option C1 OEM Remote Monitoring is enabled.

Alarm worked fine for a couple of days after the install. Now 3 times out of 5 it triggers the oem alarm when trying to remote start. I checked the light green wire(disarm) and it seemed to get good connection.

Evo one, rs and alarm. 3 pin L2R (+ , trigger, -). Hoping this is correct as I will be wiring up a duel shock sensor. It has 4 wires. Pre warn and warn. What's best way to tie this in. I have a 3 pin plug for evo. So then after trigger , I need to know where to tie in the siren. Looks like E1 is for Parking lights. Then after those 2 questions answered I'll be putting on a compustar 901 kit. I will swap the rx/tx and plug into the blue 4 pin data port. Then option firstech. So 3 questions. Sensor, siren wire, and flashing options. 08 lincoln mkz standard key. On the rs side I see option 12 for the horn/siren. I was under the impression that the parking lights were through the can. I dont think I usually ever hook up the white wire. As long as I can get parking lights via obd2 then I can simply use it for the alarm. Right ? So if this is the case I dont think I need a relay. But what option do I choose.. like to use as a positive trigger. I usually ground the siren right on the mounting screw of siren to body medal. Then just 2 wires through the firewall. 1 for hoodpin trigger, and 1 for + alarm. Derek was hoping you can jump in. This ok. ? What options all do I need in flashlink for my 08 mkz with 901 firstech. Wiring evo one in via wire to wire as theres more information on fortin, then I was going to use the d2d port from the evo one to the viper 5806v. Believe it's the red port on the viper and the 4 pin black on the evo. Can someone provide a ebay link to the part needed. Theres so many variations.

2008 dodge ram 3500 diesel. When doing the 3x lock, the lights come on and the horn/ alarm goes off, then have to be within 15 feet of the truck and push the unlock button for the horn/alarm to go off. It does that about 75% of the time, I'm not sure why..... any thoughts on fixing that??????

EVO-ALL sets off viper 5706v alarm

I have installed a EVO-ALL into my 2013 F-150 with a Viper 5706v connected with datalink for the range of the remote, and the 2-way capabilities. Now when I start the vehicle, it immediately sets off the Viper alarm and shuts off the vehicle because the door opened, I believe do to the EVO-ALL RAP disable it seems to simulate opening the door on both startup and shutdown. If I put the viper in Valet mode, disabling the alarm, it works fine, but then I don't have the 2-way of the viper alarm to know when it is going off. I also cannot unlock the vehicle using the viper remote because it sets off the OEM vehicle alarm. If anone know how to fix this issue so I have the Viper alarm still working, please help, I do need RAP disable though, because otherwise my radio will stay on until I open the door.

EDIT: I also have been unable to find a way to connect the Evo-ALL to disarm the factory alarm, I think this would fix the factory alarm issue, it should be able to do it over the can-bus but cannot find and option for this.

Installed the Evo One for my lady, 2017 nissan sentra, standard key. I did the key bypass programing procedure as it said in the directions. I belive the oem remote should work with the 3x lock. When I hit the lock button the blue light flashes as it should. But no remote start with 3x lock button, and no parking lights or horn chirp to signal alarm has been set. Any advice? Two problems I'm gathering. When I press unlock, the ignition turns on about 2-3 seconds and no unlock action. When I press lock, I hear clicking from evo but no lock action. Also, when rem starting with the truck locked, it sets off the alarm. Evo-all with FORTIN FOR4 T-harness using linkr LT 2

Installing Excalibur AL-1870-3DB 2-way remote start and alarm into my 2007 GMC yukon using evo-all with t-harness and data-link. I'm just double checking the best options to use on the flash link manager to get full use of my excalibur system and especially the 2-way system part of it. Also settings you recommend leaving off and any other wiring conections not supported by datalink other than ignition, 12v and ground. Any and all advice is much apreciated, the more info the better. First let me say, great product, easy install. I have the EVO-ONE in all my vehicles.

I removed my EVO-ONE w/ Linkr LT2 from my 2014 Civic (Standard-Key) and would like to install it in my 2019 Ridgeline. According to the instruction, I need a EVO-ONE manufactured after 2019 and a THAR-ONE-HON8.

My EVO-ONE has a stamp date of 05/2019 - will that work?

When will the THAR-ONE-HON8 be available?

Although the Ridgeline already has a RS, I want to use the EVO-ONE with the Linkr LT2. Plus I plan on adding a proximity sensor to protect the contents at the back truck bed.

Hello I have a 2019 Silverado 3500 diesel and was wondering how to setup the evo all alarm. This is the WT model so it doesn't have the factory alarm enabled. I have the evo all module with the gm7 t-harnes and the remote start works well. I use the oem remote and didn't do any other hard wiring. I'm not sure if I need to hard wire something or if I have something wrong in the settings. My S/N is 001A07 129104

Hey, I would like to start using the alarm on my evo one, on my 2018 Mazda 3. I have the evo one installed with the t harness but am having issues adding the horn. I ended up buying a horn to hook it up to rather then using the oem horn however I can't get it to work with the orange/black wire. I put 12v to the positive and the orange/black to the negative but isnt working. The module relay is clicking so it should be set up correctly. Any way to hook it up to the oem horn? Thanks

I purchased a shock sensor and siren, and was wondering if I could power the shock sensor off of the red and black wires going into the evo all from the t-harness? I am not sure what the rated capacity is, and don't want to damage anything.
