Hello I have an EVO-one module with the RFK442 remotes installed in a 2018 Audi SQ5 pushstart. The 442 kit works as it should until I drive off. The car says no key detected. It was my understanding you could use these 442 remotes just like the oem key? But is the RFK442 only for locking, unlocking, remote starting?

Hello,

I need to speak with someone regarding the installation of an evo-all system into my 2015 Audi Q5.

I am an automotive Technician and am currently trying to install the Evo-Audt1 into my vehicle.

I chose this kit, due to the simplicity of the t harness and not wanting to tap into many wires behind the key port.

Prior to purchase, I compared OEM and Fortin diagrams, and found very minor differences, but none with the T harnesss/key port plug side of things.

Looking at OE wiring diagrams. There seems to be no differences between the 2014 and 2015 Audi Q5 as far as the anti theft/key wiring goes.

I wanted to know on yalls end what the difference might be as to why I am unable to use the T harness to complete my installation.

I’ve tried using programming for a 2015 with the correct options, as well as a 2014. To no avail, although, the 2014 option seemed to work best, just was unable to decrypt the key when I got to that step, as expected.

When I do the 2014 programming procedure ( guide 77151 ), i get to step 8, which then the module flashes red rather than alternating red to yellow.

I’m really Looking for a technical description as to why this is the case, what is different, and what I could do with what I have installed into the vehicle ( evo-audt1 ).

I still have an EVO-ALL that I uninstalled from my previous car, is there still no possibility to install this in my 2024 Audi Q2? Any chance in a cable ever going to be made for the Q2? Or maybe it is the same as a Q3 for example? I really would like to have remote start in my car again.

Neither THAR-AUD1 nor THAR-AUD2 lists the 2017 TDI Key port as compatible; however the EVO-ONE lists Q5 2017 as compatible. I have a 2017 Audi Q5 B8.5 2.0 TDI Ultra , automatic transmission with CNHA engine code (sold Outside US) and I would like to buy a EVO-ONE with the correct harness for my vehicle.

I have installed a EVO-ALL on my Q7 (4M Platform) (2018). The remote start works great to start the vehicle and I am a ASCL7 that also works. The one issue is that only AUX1 works. The AUX1 turns on heated seats for driver and passenger side. The other AUX don't seem to to anything. I would like to have defrost and rear window defrost. Any advice would help. Thanks

I purchased an remote starter kit from Romania - Autoextra partner, after 3 days of working on it I had no clue how to make it work, maybe it will be easier to talk directly to you as support and not make a 3 way conversation.

Update how I’m now : everything is wired corectly (measured with voltmeter), made the connection to can high and can low in the left side of driver side next to the fuse box (2,6V can high; 2,4V can low) all wired up exactly how instructions are (green, orange/brown with the grey and grey/black from the module connector) and no success, ignition on and the blue led from module goes off and stays off till I turn the ignition off again, then solid blue led shows again. Software version is 61.28 (recommended from the windows program), I refuse to think that it can’t be a solution to make it work together. Maybe someone from tehnical support or software can discuss with me to find a solution, it will be faster via whatsapp if available or by email (I think that there is only 5-6 hours difference between us).

I flashed the correct software on to unit with the flashlink. I get to step 11 of key bypass-program with r-link, and it says to wait up to 5 mins with solid red light. Then it's supposed to flash yellow, and the flah yellow and red, but the red light just stays lit and never goes past that point. I've tried reseting evo reprogramming to a different firmware, then back to the recommended firmware, but I can never get past that point and have waited up to 15mins. What should I do at this point?

I'm currently using an evo one SN: 002B04 079929

I'm trying to program this for an audi a7 2013. I've upgraded the correct firmware as per the manual however i'm getting an issue when attempting to remote start. It shows on the dash key not detected every time.

I've done this 3 times now and the 3rd time the Decryptor limit has been reached.

Can you advise and then reset please?

The programming went fine, all the lights appeared as shown.

If i leave the key in the car and remote start it, its fine. but if i do it outside the vehicle it displays key not recognised.

I wanted to install rm411, the programming of the key fob is successful, but it does not react to it.no open, no close, no run engine... how should it be???maybe you need settings??? maybe somewhere in the settings you need to put a point that there is an additional remote control and not OEM

I just installed the AUDT harness and Evo All module for remote start into my 2010 Audi A4 with key-port. I want to add LTE. Do I just purchase the Fortin Evo start module and program and connect it to my existing EVO All with T-harness?

In addition to App control of remote start, GPS, will I be able to turn the heat and AC on and off, control the temperature, and also turn the heated seats on and off? I just want to know the additional features / controls I can have in the app. Thank you.

2012 Audi A7 won't start

2012 Audi A7 using Evo One. The entire setup was successful, I was able to program the remote. After install, lock3x did nothing. Looking through Remote Starter options in flashlink, and "System Control by OEM remote" was disabled by default. Ok. Set to lock3x. Reinstalled, now pressing the button turns the ignition on, but does not start vehicle. It does its starting attempt, then turns off and relocks itself. What am I missing here? I'm sure there are other options that I need to change that were not shown in the instructions. Any help would be great.

Im able to get the module into programing mode with the flashing red, yellow, and blue lights. The vehicle will shut down (key off) durring the process but will not key on. The key off happens near the end of the programing procedure i belive this is supposed to be a signal to key on and complete the key learning. I also notice the evo one will light blue when the fob is pressed but when remote start sequience is started no lights illuminate on the module. Im thinking firmware issue im running 60.10 as recomended and tried a few others. module # 002B04 266571

THAR-AUD2 & Evo-All, How to Program

I just want to use the remote start function of lock button*3.
I have an Evo-All module and a Thar-Aud2 harness.
I connected this harness to the cable in the trunk side while looking at the installation manual, and I connected the extra remote control key.
And I connected the black connector while pressing the module's program button, but the lights on the all LED are flashing blue, red, and green. It's the same when I take my hands off.

Even if I reconnect all the connectors, the same thing happens.
The program doesn't work at all. What's the problem?
Do I not have to use a black connector to just use the lock button*3?

Please help me

Audi 2013 S4 DSG - Fortin ALL getting stuck on step 7 with 3 x red flashing lights

Just installed a Fortin ALL with the Audi T Harness on a 2013 Audi S4 DSG. UK right hand drive car.

When I go to try and get the unit to read the key data I am just getting 3 red light flashes on step 7, everything is fine up until that point and the car operates as normal.

When I then put the flashlink back onto the PC software it says invalid key data. Any ideas? I have checked all wiring, also checked status of CANBUS with zero issues showing so I know that wiring is good.

I have install Fortin Evo-audt1 on my audi sq5 2017 but doesn't work. I have connect foot brake wire, Can H & Can L under steering column also I tried under hood clutch and harness on key port. I did the program but on the 8th step doesn't flash red and yellow light, only 3x red light. I try to remote start but nothing happen. if i put the key on key port the remote starter works. I installed a EVO ALL kit with the thar vw6 in my audi a3 with normal key, i used the R-link for programing but i cannot get the blue led to flash.

firmware is 64.06 as recomended in the guide.

In the guide it states i should use the 21 pin connector on the steering cullom but ther is no such plug only a 16 pin wich i used.

I tried hard resetting it but i can still not get passed step 6.

I have installed the Evo-All in my 2014 S4 and have some problems with it.

Basically, remote starting works, but I have to Press the Lock button 5x to start the Car. It doesn't matter If I press the Button fast, wait 1 sec or wait 2 sec between the Button pushes. Needs 5x presses.
Tried already different Firmware.
Any solution for this Problem?

- Another Problem is when I start the Car remotely, the rearview camera isn't working. I need to stop the engine and start it again to get a Picture.
Where is There the Problem? Any Solution?

- Next Problem when I remotely start the Car and unlock the door with the key, I can enter and drive away without the Key?? (leaving the key away from the car) I was thinking this isn't possible?

- When I remotely start the Car, is it possible to unlock the Car with the door Handel? The Car has Keyless Entry/Go.

- Finally, can you reset my Flash Limit on my Evo-All?

I'm Stuck on Step 5 while programming my EVO-ALL with the T-Harness EVO-AUDT1 on My Audi S4 B8 (2014).

The BLUE LED doesn't begin flashing.

CAN Connections are Good. I Measure round about 3V on the Whit 5 Pin connector between Grey and Grey-Black.

Grey-Black goes to Orange-Brown (CAN-Low) and Grey goes to Orange-Green (CAN-High) like in the Guide described.

I have connected these Cables at the CAN Connector near the Relays at the left bottom under the Driver footwell.

2013 Audi Q5 - Now has errors. "Implausible Brake Signal"

Successfully installed the system and it is working. Brake shutdown too.

However, now the vehicle is throwing errors like 00526, which all seem to stem from the brake switch/signal. Would this likey be a programming error? Just need some guidance before pulling things apart.

Also, yesterday on remote start it turned over for less than a second and did not start. tried again and it started. Brand new battery, so wondering if it is related to that brake signal somehow.

I just installed the Evo One in my wifes car.. I go thru the entire process with programing and i get up to the parts where the ignition cycles on and off.. The led lights are supposed to alternate from yellow to red when its completed.. Mine on flashes red.. Do i wire something incorrect??

I installed evo-all with T harnes(THAR-aud1) and RF kit ( evo-start2 ) in audi q5 2010. The remot starter works and starts the car with pushing 3 times the lock button with oem key fob but when i send commend through applaction to start the car it doesnot work. The green light turns on in Antena but changes to orange and car doesnot start. My qustion is if the yellow wire inT-harnes of antena should be connected to the ingnition wire of the car ? if yes ,where is the ignition+ in my car ?Thanks

When I go to flash the Evo-One to firmware 60.10 as requested, the Module Flash page (summary) says Key Sacrificed = 1. According to your website the Evo-One doesn't need to use a key. Is the FlashLink Manager just not showing the correct Installation Method?

4x Lock Required to start Audi 2012 S4 with EVO-ALL+THAR-AUD1

2012 Audi S4 with Push button start, automatic trans, Installed EVO-ALL+THAR AUD1. (latest firmware confirmed with flashlink)

If the canbus is alive, the car will start on 3x lock of oem fob.

If the car is asleep, as in it sits overnight then "4x" lock is required to start the engine.

Something I've also noticed is 3x lock does not stop the engine when it has been started by the EVO-ALL module..so if engine is started with fortin module, no amount of fob lock button pressed will not stop the engine.

The system was updated with flashlink during the install process and only setting changed was the start run time length from 5mins to 30mins.

All the wiring that is required with the THAR-AUD1 has ben double checked and as mentioend, if canbus is live it'll start perfectly fine on 3x lock, it's just when the vehcle is asleep it's like you need to press the remote 1x to wake up the canbus and then 3x to start the engine.

The 3x lock to shut off engine after start with fortin system, I'm not sure if this is possible or correct so I'm not 100% this is a concern.

Is any of the above normal operation?

2018 Audi Q5 proximity key unlock, engine auto stop-start, and folding mirrors on lock not working

I have recently intalled EVO-ALL AUD2 / AUDT2 and things work just fine. However, it seems like proximity or smart keyless entry / unlock does not work when remote started. I have to press unlock button to get in the car. Also, my mirrors do not fold when shut down remotely by RF remote. Only if I use the OEM fob to lock the car will the side mirrors fold.

Is this a programming issue or something mechanical? Any fixes? Thanks!

EDIT: Also, another thing I noticed is the "auto engine on/off" or "auto stop-start" (e.g., at traffic lights or when idling) does not work when remotely started. Is that common after installing fortin?

Good day. When installing the EVO-ALL with T harness into a 2010 Audi Q5 keyport, to adjust the climate control settings when remote started, is the proper procedure to remote start the vehicle, adjust the climate control settings, then shut down the vehicle?

I know that Audi is key specific, just wanted to be sure that the vehicle sees the remote starter module as a seperate key from the original two keyfobs. When one of the original keys is used to start the vehicle, the climate control settings revert back to those attached to that particular key.

I am wondering if the evo one does, and if im wrong does the evo all work as a standalone starter or will a third party starter be needed. When i plug in the EVO-ONE and load for a 2016 A6 it is recommending firmware 10.06 and shows that it requires a key to remain in the vehicle but looking at your web site using the EVO-ONE with firware 10.10 you can do it with the DCryptor. I want to confirm what way is required for this vehical and if the 10.06 version is capable to "learn " the key?

I just finished installing the EVO-All in standalone on my 2013 Q5 keyport with t harness. Tested the 3X lock a few times and it worked but now it does nothing. Also I installed the MPC SMartphone control with it and having the same issue. It worked on my phone a few times and now does nothing.

I need correct answer, how to wrap sacrificed key to get car started properly and get in run for saved time in module settings? My car sometimes starts fine and runs as long as I want, but sometimes starts for 1min or less and shuts off. It looks like module issue reading key chip to me? If it not the module, it would be doing all the time, by starting and shutting off, if key wrapping were bad? Please tell me correct way to wrap just in case it will helps... I am trying to install a evo one in a 2009 manual audi s5 but i am having a problem the yellow line which connect to (+) clutch bypass are too short to connect under the hood. i know i can cut the orange and white line and to extend to connect to the hood but i want to know is there another way to connect to the clutch bypass instead under the hood is there like another wire near the the clutch pedel?

Remote start not working after 2 days

Installed evo-audt1 stand alone add on with a t-harness on Audi A4 14. It worked for two days then stopped working. The car/key works fine. All three break lights illuminate. Connections were made correctly and very secure. What else can be done to troubleshoot? Should I just reset, decryption and program again?

Completd programming and the decryption process. Key decryption says successful. The blue light flashes when I hit the lock button, but nothing after, car does not start. Is any light supposed to stay on after the 3rd lock button? due to a q/a that stated the blue light not flashing indicates a data buss connection problem, im assuming that the buss connections are ok because my blue light flashes with key fob lock button. noted that the 3rd brake light does not flash with unlocking button pushed. i think it is normal due to not part of the flasher system. brake lights function normally with pedal. could the system be not functioning due to the brake switch tap. can i get confirmation of the correct wire that needs taped from the brake switch. of a way to confirm the input. a picture of the wire that needs taped or at least a wire collor would help.

I've installed the Evo-All with the Aud Thar1 T Harness into an 2011 Audi Q5. Do I loose the keyless unlock/lock funtion with the instal? This is the function that when the key fob is on you just your hand grabbing the door handle will unlock (or the button on the handle to lock) the door. Even when the car has not been remote started. I understand the unlock button has to be hit to enter the car when it has been remote started. Thanks.

Hi, I need help with my EVO-AUDT1

I have it installed about a month ago, everything worked but not ok. Most of the time remote start won't work or at least not at the first try. Needs a couple of tries, lock, unlock and will eventually start. Today I had some time so I decided to remove the unit and change the settings (at the customer service recommendation to try the LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK instead of what I initially had LOCK/LOCK/LOCK FOR REMOTE START).

I did the settings change and installed back the module, the car will remote start much better than before (still failed a couple attempts but most of the time worked fine) however sometimes after shutting off engine and close the door the car will start! Just like that, after pushing ONE TIME ONLY the door lock button car will start. So I decided to revers the setting to what I initially had ( 3 x LOCK fosr remote start) at least this way the car won't start when simply lock. And from here programming issues begin : I was not able to have the remote starting working again. I fallowed the same programming procedure like before, on the computer everything seems to be fine but when connecting the module nothing, car won't remote start at all.

I tried a couple of times step 1 for DCRYPTOR , ever time worked fine, but on the car won't start. I also tried and flashed not the recommended firmware version but the lattes one compatible for this module , (the 70) and repeat all the steps, still nothing.

I eventually went back and flash the same version that I initially had ( the 60.08) and did the recommended settings, no change at all, with 3 x LOCK for remote start, fallowed successfully all the programing steps and nothing, car won't remote start.

While I was doing the last try when I was running the dcryptor, I got the message of dcryptor limit have been reached for this car! I tried to reconnect the module and fallow the procedure for STEP 1 and nothing. Same message.

Nevertheless, this is getting pretty frustrating... Also, the module I received shows manufacturing date beeing sometimes in 2018 and for my vehicle shows that compatible modules needs to be manufactured 2019 and up. I called customer service when I received the module and I have been told it doesn’t matter, will still work. And it did, but with the described issues, so I wonder if that may be the initial issue why car won't remote start as it should to begin with?

How do I reset dcryptor's limit? And what could be the issue that car won't remote start even if the programing seems to be successful? I am pretty sure every time the connectors were well plugged

* After talking with customer service this will be solved by sending a e-mail with the unit s/n for reset.

i am looking for a bypass soloution for 2017-2020 Audi A4 and Q7 models that do not require a sacrifice key. also want to be able to use t harness to avoid splicing the wiring in the vehicle. the customer only has one operational key for the vheicle.
