Can the Evo one be used as just a bypass module for the Excalibur RS-475-3D kit? It has the RS-X70 module

Curious if the evo one can be used as "bypass" module for the Excalibur RS-X70 module which is in the kit RS-475-3D. Basically I would use the X-70 as the remote start and evo one as bypass if its possible? Apparently I have the wrong antenna to pair the 2way Excalibur remote with the evo one so I was trying to work with what I already have instead of buying new stuff

As a single install, is Bluetooth FlashLink Adapter worthwhile?

Hello,

I purchased the Fortin EVO-ALL module to bypass my 2005 Ford Focus PATS system for remote starting my car through my Viper 5706v alarm/rs kit. It works flawlessly once I figured out my issue for decryptor. I can probably provide some updated/more clear diagrams for Fortin to offer for my vehicle, too. But all that aside...

I used the USB FlashLink Update module to set up my EVO-ALL. I'm not sure if maintenance is recommended every so often to keep the firmware updated. If so, I would assume it's worth it to upgrade to the Bluetooth FlashLink device. I honestly want to ditch my Viper system out of disgust for DEI and have been looking at alternate systems. I don't remember but I might need to update the EVO-ALL firmware if I change to something that isn't the DEI D2D data bus. I was considering the Compustar T13 two-way system with LTE. I am not sure if Fortin actually provides a sufficient option for my older vehicle. I haven't looked in months, but I think it was only partially compatible with EVO-ONE. These are all reasons to consider the Bluetooth module, though I have no issue taking my laptop to my car and running FlashLink Update while plugged into the EVO-ALL without messing with my install. Aside from ditching the laptop for an android app, is there any other benefit to the Bluetooth module? Thanks.

Stuck on step 5, all 3 lights flashing Kia Niro

I am using a t-harness for install. Verified continuity on all my electrical connections. Soldered connections. During programming, I turn ignition on and red lights blink 10x as expected. Then short pause and the three LEDs all blink instead of the blue blinking indicating I'm not getting canbus communication. The COM wire was present and I verified I have the connections on the correct side of the cut. I flashed it with the most recent version of firmware and the recovered firmware, same result either way. Double checked my settings and everything kind like I'd expect it to buy correctly somethings amiss. SN-002B04 310063 This morning the car battery was dead as well

evo-all on 2009 audi s5 will not learn/decrypt key with T-harness

I have tapped all he correct color wires by the punch and twist method, The T-harness is fully seated into the keyport module. Per the guide I am using the recommended 60.10 firmware. when Igo through the process on learning/decrypting the key, the evo all only gets to the point where all there leds alternate. but instead of getting a solid red led and then the slowly alternating red and yellow. I only get the red led that blinks 3x. and it never changes. I have also tried the alternate firmwares [.08] through [.11] and have had the same results. I have put a brand new batttery in the vehicle and the remote as well. I tried programing the evo with the option A11 both on and off.

What else can I try? serial# : 001A07321568
INT-SL+ won't program to 2000 Silverado or be discovered by Flashlink Manager

I have a Fortin INT-SL+.

HW Ver 2

Firmware Ver 3.01

mfg date 04/2018

Service number 002102061867

I also purchased a Fortin flashlink-lite updater

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado with an older Chrime Stoppers remote start, and had on omega

IB-GMBP.DB-PAS-23A Passkey override. The omega unit went bad and appears to be discontinued.

I purchaesd the Fortin unit to replace it. I just need the passkey function of the Fortin.

Wired it in configuration 5 without data link.

When I follow the programming instructions, the red light will come on, but not start blinking when the key is switched on. I have checked my wiring. I'm pretty sure I have it right. The red light also does not go out after I start the engine.

I read on this forum that GM trucks can be particularly hard to program and that there is a firmware version 3.06 that resolves the issue.

I bought the Fortin flashlink-lite updater to upgrade my firmware from 3.01 to 3.06

The flashlink-lite updater seems to be working with my laptop correctly. The Flashlink manager 4 shows the flashlink-lite updater as connected.

When I plug in my INT-SL+ the red light comes on for a few seconds and goes out. Flashlink Manager4 always shows the "module status" as disconnected.

I tried holding the INT-SL programming button before plugging the INT-SL into the Flashlink-lite. The red light stays on but the "module status" doesn't change.

I have seen youtube videos that show the Fortin modules connecting almost instantly when plugged into the Flashlink devices, so I think something is wrong. I suspect the INT-SL

I don't want to buy more stuff until I'm sure that I'm going to solve the problem.

I feel that I should troubleshoot the connection between INT-SL+ and Flashlink first, since those are Fortin factory connections. That eleminates my wiring as a potential issue in the flowchart.

Is there a way to tell if the INT-SL+ is bad?

So im installing the evo all with the tb-vw module in a 2008 vw rabbit. ive been fighting with this thing for a few hours now trying to get the thing to read the key so i can use the dcryptor. ive manage to get past the setup 3 diffrent times but each time i end up with a solid yellow and red light when i apply power back to the evo all. when i go to start it, the yellow will go off then the red starts flashing and wont stop till i unplug it. any advice would be great. also ive tried factory resetting, flashing diffrent firmwares and ive now hit the limit on dcryptor and i believe im one flash away from the limit

On bypass programming options, should I choose oem remote or aftermarket?

I am using the EVO-ALL as an immobilizer bypass for a 2010 Enclave CXL (that does have factory remote start) to install an aftermarket PKE system (ikey-premier from digital guard dawg. Which programming option do I choose for the bypass? The OEM remote start option or the aftermarket rfid option? I specifically ask because I don't see their key fob listed in the rfid compatibility, but I'm using the bypass for an aftermarket system, NOT the OEM remote. Should I still choose OEM? Alternatively, is it possible that their rf key could be compatible even though it isn't listed?

2013 Toyota Corolla Evo-All stuck on step 5 in programming procedure

Hi, I installed a remote start on a 2013 Toyota Corolla that uses the Evo-All bypass module. I am currently stuck on step 5 of the programming procedure on page 3. When I turn the key to the on position the blue and red led light from the previous step turn off and nothing happens. I checked all the wiring going to the ODBll with a multimeter and everything seems fine. The remote start does crank over the engine but will not start unless the key is close to the ignition. Does anybody have any suggestions?

2008 4Runner - KEY BYPASS Programming procedure fails, does not detect key

I just installed an EVO-ONE with T-harness on my 2008 Toyota 4Runner. All 7 connections per 24121 have been completed. The 20-pin white harness and the 6-pin T-harness are connected to the EVO-ONE. When I attempt to program the Key bypass, it fails at step 5. The EVO-ONE does not appear to detect the key insert and the red led stays lit and does not start flashing. I double checked all connections and they appear in tact.

The EVO-ONE is running the following firmware based on the recommendation of the Flashlink Manager software.

Remote Starter: v1.24

Bypass: v79.54

Any ideas on what is causing this?

thanks!

EVO-ALL in 2004 Jeep Liberty will not program

2004 Jeep Liberty, no factory alarm, with transponder key. EVO-ALL is installed with a Compustar CS800-S. Used installation guide #3317, Connection #1, Program #1. Firmware flashed is 74.[38].

I can get the bypass to enter program mode (solid blue LED). When turning the ignition key to ON, the blue LED turns off and nothing else happens. The guide says the LEDs are supposed to turn on and off BLUE - RED - YELLOW in sequence, taking up to one minute. I waited 5 minutes with no lights turning on. Any advice?

2009 Audi s5 manual transmission, keyport and start/stop button with evo-one with thar-audi t harness. The blue led stays solid when the ignition is turned on with the keyport and I am unable to program. I have checked the yellow starter wire connection to the clutch bybass and the connection seems solid. The 12v to the juction box is getting a reading and good. The can high and low are also connected good. The connection for the vehicle is clipped together and the plug for the evo-one is connected as well. The 16pin is also plugged into the keyport.

When I plug the data cable in while holding the program button the led turns blue. I plug in all the other cables, insert the key, and press once WITHOUT pressing the brake. When I press and release the the program button the blue led remains on as if nothing has happened.

I just recieved the evo one for my 2000 ford explorer and installed it with the rf kit. i flashed and updated it right away to most current firmwares. everything works like the remote start and door locks but wont accually start since i cant get the bypass to learn the keys. i get the red light when i pllug it in and then i go to start the 2 key procedure and the yellow light comes on. i get to the second key and by the end of the second 3 seconds for the second key the red light starts to rapidly flash and all the lights go off so i cant finish the bypass procedure. anyone know the issue here. is the module bad by chance? ive tried re flashing a few times and tried programing the keys many times and its the same thing each time.

Evo all not detecting Dlc purple wire,

Have a 2005 Silverado Z71. Have the evo all byoass installed with a Crime stopper RS34 remote start. For a couple of years the system worked flawlessly. Went to use it and the truck wouldn't start or unlock the doors. Removed my wiring harness to find the Purple wire in the 20 pin connector broken at the end of the connector. Marked the location and depinned the wire, resoldered the wire to the termnal. Reinserted and went to program the unit. The blue light comes on, when turning the key on the blue light goes out and the red light does not come on. Through the troubleshoot it states that the bypass is not detecting the Dlc connection. Checked the connection at the port is good. Voltage is present at both sides of the wire. Was ondering if this is a sign of a malfunction with the Evo all bypass?

I had an Evo One install in my 06 trailblazer. I replaced it, and installed it on an 05 GMC Envoy XL. I did a master reset on starter and bypass, using recommended updates. When trying to program with the button pressed, I plug in the six pin connector to get to the blue led, I then plug in the remaining connectors. Turn the key to the on position the blue light go out but no other lights come on. If I turn the key back to the off position the blue light return. I'm only using all wires from the 6 pin connector. The data, the park light, the horn, the brake, and the A1 ignition wires off the 25 pin connector. And antenna and valet button connection. All wires have continuity though connector and wires. Tried a spare Evo One that had on hand, got the same results.

Programmig not working stuck at step 9

i have double and triple checked my wire connections but when i try to program my THAR-CHR6 and when i get to step 9 the light will not change from Red to blue. I have attempted this multiple times and have followed all the steps so i am lost and really could use some help. Could it be an issue with my unit or is there a trick to this i am missing. I am installing on a 2013 Dodge Journey Push button ignition. *Update* I had intially started i had updated my Evo to the most recent firmware not in beta. I downgraded to 74.22 and was able to get to the next step where the blue light would come on but it would not flash. Flashed it again to a higher FW believe 74.25 but same thing blue light doesn't flash. Otherthing i noticed is on the ODBII port guide says the CAN high wire is brown but there are no brown wires on that harness. The CAN low matches the yellow though.

Evo-All reseting itself -- and options

This is the same vehicle -- 2015 Corolla S. I have an Evo-All + Prestige APS-57E. Recently the client took the vehicle to the dealer and the battery was disconnected. After which the remote start no longer worked. I took a look under the dash and the Evo-All's red LED was constantly on. Trying to reset it didn't work as the red LED was always on.

I then connected the Evo to the Fortin program and upon selecting the "Evo-All Options" tab, Setting protection was turned ON (which I never did nor ever use) and once I turned that off to see the current settings, some options I had never selected where turned ON. Specifically, A1 --> A11 where now OFF and D2 --> E2 where now ON, as well as G3, G4, & H2.

Also, with out making any changes to the Evo-All nor flashing it, once I disconnected it from the Fortin program and went back to the vehicle to attempt a reset, the reset worked fine and the red LED wasn't constantly ON.

	Any help appreciated.

EVO-FORT1 enables ignition before programming sequence finished

EVO-FORT1 for a 2014 Ford Focus SE (SFE) (Automatic Transmission) as a stand-alone installation (3x door lock start). I have the T-harness installed along with the connections to the Lt. Blue, Blue, and Yellow/Black wires on the harness. I have also connected the CAN bus signals. As I go through the 2-key programming sequence, the relay on the EVO-ALL will enable the ignition DURING the 3-second time of the 2nd key. When I remove the 2nd key and press/release the programming button, the unit never shuts off the ignition and neither the blue nor red LEDs flash. I have to remove power or the red connector from the EVO-ALL to turn off the ignition. I also tried pressing/releasing the foot brake as well.

During the programming sequence, I notice that the yellow LED will sometimes go on and then off. If I plug in the unit without putting it in programming mode, the unit will blink the blue LED if I press the door lock button.

I have been following guide #32051.
Does this indicate a problem with the unit itself, or is the pre-loaded firmware corrupt and needs to be re-programmed? (I will need to purchase a EVO Flash Link updater.) Is it a possible connection issue? Is it an issue in performing the programming sequence?

EVO-FORT1 wiring information

The biggest question I hear when it comes to the EVO-FORT1 combo is that the module "will not program"....9 times out of 10 it is that the 3 main connections were left out!!! So below is the 3 types of connections that are done between the evo and the t-harness.

	TYPE 1 CONNECTION

In the above image commonly used on the 40 bit type systems its basically match the colors between the t-harness and the 20 pin connector. Be sure to isolate the Yellow/Black wire from the T-Harness as it is not connected.

	Type 2 CONNECTION

In the image above commonly used on 80 bit systems we match the colors EXCEPT you are not connecting yellow to yellow rather the yellow/black from the t-harness connects to the yellow wire from the 20 pin connector and you isolate the Yellow wire in the T-Harness.

	TYPE 3 CONNECTION

In the above image it is exactly the same as connection 2 but in addition to the Yellow/Black being connected to the Yellow of the evo-all, we are also connecting the Purple/Yellow along with the Yellow. Isolate the Yellow wire from the T-Harness.

EVO-ONE Remote start works, DCryptor bypass does not.

	2004 Lincoln Aviator with PATS

One key only, marked with an S

	Programming method 3, EVO-ONE.

I cannot get the immobilizer bypass to allow starting after DCryptor is successfully programmed.

	Wiring as follows:

		A1 = Lock

		A2 = Unlock

(Do these need to be wired to Arm/Disarm?)

Reset bypass unit programming. LEDs alternate rapidly.

Unplug unit. Plug in unit (6-pin first)

		Hold key against ignition barrel

Trigger remote start (Fortin 2-Way RF antenna)

		Start successful

		Remote stop. Stop successful.

		Repeat 3-6 successfully.

	Unplug unit

	Bypass Programming:

Plug in unit, holding programming button

		Release on Red.

		Plug in all connectors

press program button. Red flashes off and back on

insert key, turn to on. Yellow light is comes on. Red light turns off.

Turn key to off. Yellow light is off, red light remains on.

Turn key to on. Wait. Red Yellow alternating flashing.

		Turn key off, unplug unit.

take to computer, plug in, launch Fashlink manager 3

		Unit red light is on

Vehicle selected is Lincoln Aviator 2004

		Open DCryptor

Follow steps until successful message received. Unit red light remains on.

Unplug unit from computer and reinstall in vehicle, 6-pin connector first.

		Attempt remote start. Start fails.

Remote Starter engages accessory and then ignition functions.

				Faint red flashing on unit

vehicle relays are heard. Normal startup lights are on.

				Starter is not engaged

Parking lights flash 4 times. (Note this is not the same as 4x immediate flash, indicating Valet Mode)

Door lock and unlock works fine.

Resetting the bypass allows for the remote start to function again, with the key held to the barrel.

	Bypass options enabled:

	A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, A10, A11

Additionally, this was tested with D2 both enabled and disabled.

	Special Starter options enabled:

	31.4, 20.2

	Additionally I have:

Tried the above methods while holding the unit closer to the ignition barrel

Tested for voltage on the TX and RX channels, using both Key and Remote starts, on both the splice and the 20-pin sides, and observed the same voltage patterns.

Attempted swapping the TX and RX channels.

Tried all steps using firmware 71.31 and 71.28

Please provide any suggestions you may have, thank you for your help.
