EVO One with THAR-GM1 V2 in 2016 Chevy Cruze Limited Manual Transmission

Hello all,

I am getting ready to install an EVO One Module as a remote starter only, with a THAR-GM1 V.2 Harness in my 2016 Chevy Cruze Limited, with Flip Key and manual transmission. The wiring diagram only shows the Pink wire from the High Power (6 Wire) Harness being used. Does that mean I don't have to hookup the other 5 High Power Wires, or are they required for the unit to function? I haven't been able to find any wiring schematic for where the wires (aside from power and ground) hook up in my car. I guess I am unlcear on whether or not the GM Harness renders those other 5 wires unnecessary.

Thank you in advance.

2011 chevrolet cruze manual transmission evo all?

hello there again everyone,

i would like to know if evo-all(stand alone) will work on a manual transmission 2011 chevrolet cruze?

i see that only evo-one has a wiring diagram for a manual transmission.

will evo-all A5 wire work the same as the clutch bypass wire(A5) from the evo one?

or is there any other work around using evo-all(stand alone)?

i will be using rf642 with it btw

thanks a lot!

I’m putting an evo-all in my 2016 Cruze limited with an rf kit. The instructions say units from 2017 to December 2018 need to have the lt. blue wire connected. My unit was manufactured January of 2019. I wasn’t sure if the guide had been updated and therefore didn’t know if I should follow page 6 or page 7 of the guide.

How is remtoe start prepared on manual trans with EVO-ONE

I have a customer with a 2012 Chevy Cruze with a manual transmission. How do I activate 3x lock remote start on the manual transmission? I know on viper you have to activate remote start, exit car, then when you lock the door the vehicle shuts off and it is ready for remote start. How is it done on the EVO-ONE?

2014 CHEVY CRUZE FLIP KEY - SEVICE THEFT DETERENT SYSTEM Manual Transmission

I am still having issues with my Evo All and Crimestopper modules. I am able to get the car into reservation mode by putting the car in nuetral and setting the ebrake. Once the car is in reservation mode I can pull out the factory key and get out of the car and lock the doors and the car shuts off. Everything is good up until I try to remote start the vehicle. The driver information system starts doing its checks but then stops and says "Service Theft Deterrent System". I have already performed a master reset on the evo all module with no luck. All I am looking for here is a list of things to try.

One thing that I am confused about is the disarming of the alarm since the Crimestopper can unlock the car before the remote start and so can the evo all. I have also read in some questions that the immo wire needs to be cut but I am using the GMT T-harness for connections to the car.

3xLock Remote Start and Cheverolet Cruze 2017

Hello.

I have an Evo one with T Harness fitted to my 2017 Cruze Auto. When I push the oem remote lock three times, the car starts but it will not shut down with the oem remote. The oem remote wont do anything. I can open it with the key but the engine shuts down and goes into alarm mode. If I start it with the oem I can stop it with the DEI remote. ( Its set up with an XL 202 range extender.) but this defeats the purpose. Then if I open the door with the oem it goes into alarm mode. Any ideas????

2011 Chevy Cruze won't start

2011 Chevy Cruze won't start. I've made the necessary connections and it should be programmed. Locking, unlocking, and trunk work fine. When I hold down the start button for 3 seconds, lights and cluster turn on. When I try to hold it again, it might start for 1 minute 30 seconds or sometimes tries to crank but turns off. Then comes back on and might start. But if it does, it's no more than 1 minute 30 seconds. Do I need to make changes in programming option 4? Or should I try a hard reset?

I installed the GM1V2 into my 2011 Chevy Cruze and programed it right the first time. Blue light on. All good. Then I realized I needed to turn on option 15 to use stand alone remote start so I bought the flash link 2 week later and programed it. I got in my car, followed steps 1 threw 3 got to 4 Turned to on postion waited until red led flashed and came back on, turned off, remove key, turn back to on position, yellow led flashed a couple of times then both yellow and red stayed on and my service deterrent message came on my dash and my car would not start. I unplugged everything and got my car to start and was fine. I tryed a couple of times to reprogram it and it does the same thing over and over again.... Everyting was properly connected including the brown wire the brown wire to pin 1 of the OBD2.... HELP :(

2013 Chevy Cruze 1LT Automatic (NOT PUSH BUTTON START)

I have hooked everything up according to the directions, to the best of my knowlege. I did not hook up the brown, blue, or yellow-black, wires. I programmed and I get the point where it does the 10x yellow flashes then it does nothing else. All lights turn off until I remove the key and the blue light stays solid. It does not start. Am I missing something?

After this did not work I tried hooking up the three wires, I grounded black-yellow, hooked blue to the pink-black on 20 pin connector, and brown to the grey-green at light control module.

Stand Alone Mode.

I received this EVO ALL for a gift. after buying the t harness for my 2011 chevy cruze and tearing the dash apart to get to the ignition switch, I started the programming . I cannot get this to get past the 5 seconds or less part of the programming. After reading up on this , I noticed that I have to buy a Flash Link and set this unit to stand alone , So, more stuff I have to buy?? This is really difficult and I don't reccomend this EVO ALL unit to anyone . the instructions are difficullt to understand. I already bought a T harness and was thinking of just selling all of this and taking my car somewhere to have a starter installed.

anyone want to buy this EVO ALL Firmware 4.18 and a THAR-GM1 harness? CHEAP.

I have a Chevy cruze 2012 eco with manual trans.

I purchased Evo all THAR Gm1 converted to v2, In the wire install it says to use 180ohm resistor in the clutch rehostat, Is this in series with the Yellow wire,? and will this affect the cruise contorl function or throw codes? The car does start with the clutch pushed pushed in, and three locks on the remote.

Ground while running not needed with Evo-All and THAR-GMv2...?

2013 Chevy Cruze with flip key. Just curious how/why the (-) ground while running input is not needed in data-link installation with remote start, but is needed in many other installs where data-link is used.

Just an inquiring installer mind.

Chevrolet Cruze 2013 Push-to-Start + Fortin EVO-ALL

I bought the official website of the device Fortin EVO-ALL and programmer for it. When connecting I have a problem . The problem occurs in the first step when power to the device , namely the black (ground) and the red cable ( +12 ) . I followed the instructions , squeezed the button on the device and connect the power connector ( black connector) . After connecting the flashing LEDs in the following order : blue, yellow, red , yellow , blue + red, and then blue, yellow, red , yellow , blue + red, etc. According to the instruction sequence indicators should flash sequentially. I can not understand what it is, after all only connected power .

Despite this, I continued connection . Follow step 2, 3 , 4 ( the behavior of the indicators consistent with instructions) and step 5 again discrepancy after clicking on the Push-to-Start tanned just two yellow + red LED . What am I doing wrong?
