Mazda 3 2018 - Evo One - Rear Defrost

I installed a Evo one in a Mazda 3 2018 push to start automatic with the Thar-One-Maz3 Harness with OEM remote (3x lock).

I want to activate the rear defrost on remote start. I have activated the option 39.

On wirecolor, it says that the rear defrost is "Positive".

Two questions :

- What option should I take for 25 ? (there are 6).

- How I set the A13 wire to send positive signal ?

- How do I wire the A13 ? Do I simply tap on the vehicule wire ?

I had the VW dealer install a FTX-64-2W in my 2021 Jetta a few months ago. the remote only turn the car on but I would like it to turn the heated seats and defrost at the same time the car starts. can this unit handle it? and if so, where do I do to have these addiitonal features configured?

Installed the evo start 2 and when i use phone to start the dodge journey the temperature is set to cold. How do you program it so it will turn on the heat and quit resetting the vehicle to ac? I cant find any options for it on the programmer

2011 Jetta defroster connection to EVO-ONE

I plan to purchase an EVO-ONE & TB-VW for a 2011 VW Jetta S standard key and self-install it using the "regular install NO KEY REQUIRED" (Guide # 61511). My goal is to activate electric rear window and side mirror defrosters upon remote start.

Are additional wiring diagrams available from Fortin/wirecolor.com showing the rear window and outside mirror defrost circuit connections (these may be separate circuits) for this vehicle?

Per prior Fortin response to a prior question: the EVO-ONE has an analog AUX output can be set to automatically activate when temperatures are below 5C.

Is that AUX output signal though terminal A13(yellow/black)?
Is there an additional input connection to make for the vehicle's thermocouple?
IF the rear window and outside mirror defrosters are separate circuits, does the EVO-ONE have an AUX2 that will serve the same function?

Regarding the THAR-VW3 harness; would using the THAR-VW3 for this install still allow the AUX/AUX2 functions described above or make them easier to achieve compared to the "regular install NO KEY REQUIRED" method?

Will the EVO-VWT3 or the EVO-ONE activate electric defroster based on temperature in a 2011 VW Jetta S standard key? If not, do you offer a product that does? (defrost is the entire reason I'm installing a remote starter).
Does the 2011 VW Jetta S standard key support rear defrost control through the vehicle's CAN-Bus?

I have an EVO-ALL using firmware 75.28 on a 2012 VW TIG PTS, and was wondering if this should / could allow for the heated seats and rear defrost to kick on in the winter? I see the option in the firware selections, but I had no success in the colder winter days we had here in Denver, CO a few months back. I saw some other info on a thread discussing to go back revisions to FW 61.11 to allow this to work via the CANBUS data (but not sure if that is actually NEWER or OLDER firmware)? If an EVOALL has no means to sense the coolant or cabin temp, and it would mean running the heated in the summer too, I guess I rather leave well enough alone given I would have to reprogram everything if I changed FW anyways.

Ok so I have successfully installed an evo one into a 2020 Kia Forte. Everything is working well except the rear defrost on aux1. I was trying to hook multiple switches to the output but it wasn't working. Anyway I removed all the connections and opted to troubleshoot. I decided to just start with rear defrost. I have checked the aux with a 12v circuit tester and I do get a .5 sec pulse. I got the wire location from wire color.com. Front of fuse box red connector labeled 186 in pictures, black wire. Anyway I tapped the wire and connected the aux. when I try to turn on the rear defrost with the app I get the rear defrost led come on as long as the pulse lasts and then goes out.

does this behaviour seem familiar to anyone. I tried to test the voltage at the tap and it came out 0. When I pushed the button I got a slight voltage and then 0 again. When I pushed the button again it repeated the same thing.

i using a digital multimeter so I wasn't able to get a good read on the voltage but it jumped to about the same voltage each time. I'm not sure what any of this means except maybe I need a positive pulse. Just not sure why the led would come on during a neg pulse.

Hi, I have a 2020 Kia Sportage Push-To-Start. I am installing the Evo-One on it at this moment and I also have to set up the Rear Defrost + Trunk Open with the MyStart2 (Version 3.2.00). How do I add the aux in the MyStart2 for the Rear Defrost + Trunk Open?

**Edit** I found out trunk open is already set up with the MyStart2 so that works while I use it from the phone. Now Rear Defrost.. How do I set it up? I see it in the aux while I set up the rear defrost from phone but it doesnt do anything. Im guessing I need to tap on a wire?

I have an EVO-ALL with EVO-START2 installed on my 2015 GOLF. The system worked well over the winter by turning on the heated seats and rear defrost but now that it is summer, it is still turning on the seats / defrost in weather above -5C.

I'm running firmware version 61.03 per another ticket on this forum suggested. Am I missing a setting or is there a different firmware I should be running?

Wondering if the CANBUS can be used to control the rear defroster over AUX2 on the EVO-ONE for a 2010 Mazda6, and if so if there's a setting in FlashLink that should be enabled. I don't want to pull the unit back out of the car if it isn't even possible.

If it's not possible for this car, I'd like to know if the (-) Ignition green wire on the 20 pin connector is available for use--if so, I should be able to wire it to a 12V thermostat cooling relay (something like this https://www.amazon.com/RioRand-Thermostat-Temperature-Controller-Waterproof/dp/B00KCCX0EE) to send ground through the relay based on temperature. I have a 2012 Fusion and I am currently using the EVO-ALL with MyCar Teleconnect Addon remote start. The EVO-ALL does NOT support using or connecting the rear defrost output or AUX to control rear defrost. I have been told to update to the EVO-ONE. I have referenced all fortin guides to install the EVO-ONE with my MyCar teleconnect and now where in the guides for 2012 Fusion is rear defrost connected or shown to be connected. I cant make head or tails which output from the 20pin harness I would use and configure to tap into the rear defrost switch. Also will the MyCar Telematic App be able to be configured to turn rear defrost on through the EVO-ONE?

I would like to know if there is an option to enable heated seats and rear defrost with the Evo-All.

I have Firmare 79.36 installed and I used guide #23781

I also have RF Kit (ON) for DEI SmatyStart.

The smart start works, just wanted the option to have the rear defrost and heated seats turned on, or use the the Can Bus to enable the options.

I have the options (ON) in the Flasher for the heated seats and rear defrost and saved.

I have an Evo-One installed on a 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Manual Transmission. The car is equipped with the factory alarm. I have function 32.5 (Ground out - Arm/Rearm) enabled as the installation guide states. It is connected to the Lt. Green driver door pin wire. However, after I put the car in “ready mode” when the car shuts off after I close the driver door and the pulse gets sent to the door pin (to arm/rearm factory alarm) it disables my “ready mode” as well. When I figured that out, I disconnected the (-GWR) wire from the door pin wire and the remote start works perfectly. Only thing is now the factory alarm doesn't arm after shut down of the remote start. Is there anything I can do? Or should I just keep that wire disconnected since everything else works fine.

Also, what wire do I use to connect an AUX output? I’d like to wire in my rear defrost to activate when I press Aux 1 on my remote.

Bonjour j'ai installer un CM7200 avec un EVOall et tous les raccord demander sur une Corolla 2012 manuel avec G-Key, le module a bien enroller la clef, verrouille et dévérouille bien les portes, et ouvre le coffre mais je ne suis pas capable de mettre le véhicule pret a partir il me donner Erreur 01, aussi c'est le premier EVOALL que j'installe comment je peux savoir que les siège chauffant vont fonctionner et le dégivreur arrière. Using evo all as a standalone with option 15. Can it turn on the rear defroster when remote started through CAN without wiring to actual defroster? I thought it was capable of doing all that through the CAN.
